Grounded Kitchen in Worcester

Found this place by accident but we’re so pleased we had. Food was so flavourful and tasty. Will def be returning. Thank you.

0/10 Worst service ever - can't tell anything about the food as I didn't have a chance to try it. Arrived on a Saturday evening way before last order or closing time only for a huge disappointment. After a long and cold day I wanted to grab some warm food without high expectations. There were only two guests (not surprised!) sitting in the restaurant so it wasn't busy at all but no one was at the front to welcome guests. I found myself a place and checked the menu via the QR code but it didn't work properly and I wanted to check something with an actual human being. There was a woman serving a bowl so I asked her, she couldn't bothered less, didn't even say hi or anything she just said yeah take a seat you can still order food. How, when?? I went back to my table only to waste another 15 minutes and then I left. You should really improve the service, if you only take orders via the QR code communicate it properly, but by all means your staff should really be able to say hi or help to the new guests etc... I'm never going to visit this place again but thanks to the awful service I got to spend my money elsewhere where not just the food was nice the service was fabulous too.

Tried grounded kitchen for the first time and it's amazing! Really tasty food and highly recommended. If you like spicy flavoursome food you'll love it as much as us. We can't wait to try other dishes.

Incredible, authentic food at a very reasonable price. Great place to stop for lunch. The dumplings are so tasty, 100% recommend

Had a good meal here but nothing to shout about, service was fairly quick but they forgot one of the dishes. Bao buns were nice, chicken wings good, small Nobu was ok, bit bland. Overall it was average, wouldn’t rush straight back to be honest.

Located near Foregate Street station, this is a great place for delicious fresh food and friendly service. I agree with some of the other reviews that the QR code thing can be a bit fiddly to navigate, but in my experience (I've been half a dozen times) staff are helpful and happy to take your order at the counter if you prefer. I've found the service times pretty good, but I do ask for an estimate of how long things will take if I'm in a hurry. But the food is absolutely excellent and this place is one of my go-tos when I'm in Worcester.

The restaurant isn’t very big but it isn’t very busy at times so it feels cosy when you visit. When it comes to the food, it’s nice and varied and they also have vegetarian options for those who have those preferences. In terms of flavours, the food was rich in that. My favorite was Koreans wings. However, both the chicken and beef bao contained a certain plant, which I don’t quite know the name that threw me off, apart from that the food was delicious.

Bao burgers are really tasty, had chicken wings too & they were a bit undercooked for my taste. Takes a while but I think that’s due to Deliveroo orders so for a walk in you do end up waiting a fair while

Was really looking forward to trying the food here today. Walking in at around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was empty apart from two customers wedged in the back. No one around to help us with how things worked - apparently you sit at the table and scan a QR code to bring up a menu on your phone and order at the table. That sounds great in theory but what if your phone signal isn't very strong (like ours) and it takes forever to open the menu! I went to ask a member of staff if using the QR codes is the only way to order - ie. don't you have any menus we can look at and order from?! She looked at me blankly as if I was asking the weirdest question and said yes, that's what you have to do and left me to it. When we did eventually open the menu on the phone, I couldn't even see any Nourish bowls listed. After trying this and it taking so long, my husband and I gave up - it shouldn't be this complicated to order your lunch!

45 minute wait for very straightforward order for two people. Spending more time on the Deliveroo orders than those sitting in. Obviously understaffed but not even drinks were brought out during the wait. The girl serving was so stressed. She came out to explain they had run out of noodles to the couple sitting near us. Really poor management.

Delicious food. Great options. Healthy...all good things but it is pretty pricey so not something to be had regularly sadly!

I arrived at the venue and to start the chairs were still on the tables, I waited 5 minutes at the til with staff walking past me and nobody even acknowledged me. So left. Real shame as the other time I was in there with different staff they were really friendly and gave me free samples alongside nice food

We were visiting the area and this place appealed to both of us, so we popped in. The restaurant is laid out like a fast food joint, with bar stools mostly, and one booth-style table. You are encouraged to order via QR code. The menu wasn’t the easiest to navigate but we got there in the end and placed an order at 15.38 on a Saturday. There were about three sets of people already eating but they soon finished and left. Our drinks/quenchers arrived at the sort of time we expected some food. We were told the food would be soon. We waited. We finished our drinks. The restaurant was empty. We waited. We started to look towards the kitchen expectantly. Still nobody came to talk to us, or bring us food. Some takeaway orders were given to drivers. At 16.19, the food arrived, with an apology for the wait but nothing else. We now had no drink left, and the food was very spicy. The menu doesn’t give an indication of spice level-it seems to assume you know. The bulgogi sweet potato and aubergine in the picture was very hot. Any positives? The flavours were good and ingredients seemed fresh. Somewhat overwhelmed by the heat.

Have been here a few times since it opened and I really like the food. Everything feels really fresh and is presented well. Good mix of veggies and meat. Delicious spices. Portions are more than enough for me. Plus the yogurt desserts and smoothies are delicious.

I came in on one of my first few weeks living in the city, having never been before. The young person on the till was very polite and helped when I was unsure about the menu. I ended up trying the Bulgogi chicken bowl (this might be the name of it, not sure). It was delicious! I could see the food being prepped as I sat and waited, the other customers were very enthusiastic to try something new and the portion I had was amazing!! The actual box it came in, size regular, looks quite small but I’ve been in again since and struggled to finish it both times. Definitely a new favourite for takeaway night :)

I’ve only visited once and maybe chose the wrong menu items. The bao buns were short on filling. I hoped the Korean rice might be flavoured with spices of some sort. Instead it was plain boiled rice totally lacking any flavour, hadn’t even been seasoned with salt 🙁
