Disappointing Sushi Takeaway I ordered a takeaway meal from this sushi restaurant, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. The sushi rolls we ordered were particularly underwhelming. Each roll consisted of only four pieces, with minimal and almost stingy amounts of fish. It barely tasted like sushi at all, which was a major disappointment given the high expectations I had. While the rest of the order was acceptable, the overall experience felt overpriced, especially for the small portion sizes and lack of quality in the sushi itself. It gave the impression that they were scrimping on ingredients, which detracted significantly from the meal. Given the premium pricing, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Sadly, this experience didn't deliver, and I'm hesitant to order from here again.

The prices may seem appealing, but the portion sizes are disappointingly small. Each serving only comes with four pieces and the sushi itself is mostly rice, very little fish. While the sushi tastes somewhat fresh, the quality is lacking. The pieces of fish are uneven, super small, and tend to fall apart. Overall, the value for money isn’t there, as the portions are tiny and the quality of the sushi doesn’t justify even the lower price point.

I went here with some friends for a birthday. The Old Cuban cocktails our party ordered were delicious. We shared a range of small plates and sushi platters between all 5 of us. I couldn’t fault a single dish. *Word of warning though* the small plates are quite large - definitely big enough for all 5 of us to share in a tapas-style meal. The staff were also very friendly. Would definitely go back. Not too expensive for all 5 of us, especially in the heart of London as well!

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I started with the shrimp, followed by the lobster pasta, and both dishes were excellent. However, the drinks were fairly average. Unfortunately, the customer service fell short of expectations, especially considering this is a high-end establishment in Knightsbridge. Upon arrival, we weren't escorted to our table but merely directed to it from a distance. Additionally, the waitstaff did not pour our water, and at one point, the waiter placed three different dishes in front of one person, leaving us to figure out which dish belonged to whom. We had to request the bill twice, and after a 20-minute wait, we had to ask another staff member to bring it over. Given the lack of attentive service, we asked for the service charge to be removed. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the experience was somewhat disappointing, particularly due to the subpar service.

Oban in Teddington - A Gem of a Place! I've been lucky enough to visit Obon three times now and it just keeps getting better! The food is always amazing – my recent bowl of udon soup was pure comfort food, and the boys loved their mixed grill. The chicken skewers and dumplings were also a huge hit. But it's not just the food that makes Obon special. The service is fantastic, with a special shoutout to our lovely waitress, Kika. She was so friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great meal in Teddington, I can't recommend Obon enough. Chef Chully and his team are seriously talented, and the whole atmosphere is just perfect.

Tried Saki for the first time and sadly was disappointed. Food was good but the table they use for take away orders is right at the front of the restaurant next to other tables and so we spent the entire evening having what felt like an endless stream of motorcycle delivery drivers stood right next to us collecting food orders. The table next to us was piled high with take away boxes and insulated food bags. They need to change it around or do what other places in Crouch End do and make the drivers wait outside and show their delivery number so the restaurant isn’t overrun by delivery drivers. We were the only people in the restaurant at one point and I struggled to get anyone’s attention as they seemed too busy attending to take away orders and making up take away condiments. A shame as the food was nice.
