Amazing fragrant Iranian food. Meat tender good quality food. Lovely staff they know what you need before you ask. No seed oils if you avoiding them. Will go back beautiful decor romantic.

We have been going to this restaurant for over a decade now. It is the best Persian restaurant in London. The quality of the meat, the taste and the overall service is exceptional. There is no point wasting your time in trying other Persian cuisines. It will not be better then this!

The ambiance is nice, the staff are polite and friendly but slow. Cleanliness is good. We had Baarg and Kobidah, but the meat in both dishes had a strong smell, and the marination was unsuccessful.

Almost every time my family gets takeaway, we get it from here and each time the same. We have introduced many friends and family to it who have all commented on how tasty it is! The food is consistently good: the meat is always juicy, expertly made and seasoned and even the rice is delicious (I have often found myself eating too much because the food is just so good!) We, as a family, rarely eat meat, but when we do this is our go to. 10/10!!

The food was really delicious. We tried koubideh and jooje and they were so tasty and juicy. Their homemade bread also worth a try.

Edited to 4* now since the red sauce (see below) started appearing again. We order regularly on Deliveroo. Food is five stars in terms of taste but giving 3* in the interest of a couple of importand improvements that are needed to the online service. We order hummus regularly and never get bread. What use is hummus without bread? There is no option to order bread on Deliveroo either so we have to literally plan and buy pita if we intend to order from Hana. The other item is a little pot of red spicy sauce that used to come with either the meal in general or a salad we always order (rocket, pomegranate, feta). The sauce has not been turning up the past couple of times we ordered while for me it was the absolute highlight.

I’ve seen this place and wanted to visit many times however I read in the ham & high that they had received a very low hygiene rating and so it put me off. Today as I was walking by I noticed it was completely empty, which was strange for a Saturday afternoon. I checked their menu and noticed they do warm drinks and desserts so I thought i would give a coffee and dessert a try. As I approached the door a lady came to the door and I asked if I could get a coffee, she turned me away saying that I should try a different place for coffee. I’ve never heard of this before, to turn away a customer, but especially when you’re completely empty 😂. It’s rude and such bad business and definitely not persian hospitality to do that. Definitely won’t be returning 👍🏽

La mejor comida persa en Londres con diferencia. La comida es espléndida, tan deliciosa y también saludable. Te sientes como si estuvieras en casa cocinando abuelas. También el personal y el propietario son muy amables y acogedores y siempre hacen que su tiempo sea especial! No puedo recomendar Hana lo suficiente. Asma (I hope I spelt your name correctly), was so friendly and helped us with recommendations on the menu. Booked this for a Sunday lunch with my parents: It was the perfect spot. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere really nice; lots of families but not too loud. The food was amazing, really really delicious, well priced and great portion sizes. Despite living south of the river, I will definitely visit this place again!

Piatti abbondanti, non mi aspettavo così tanto. Abbiamo ordinato troppo! Personale molto accogliente e gentile, abbiamo trascorso una bella serata. Torneremo!

Really tasty Persian food. The khoobideh was particularly good and my wife had the fesenjan which she said was the best she ever had. It was nice to be served enough rice without being overfaced with a huge place of rice which is common in Persian restaurants. The staff were also very friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!

I was calling to complain about an order and I got rudely cussed out by one of the Persian speaking staff members as my wife only speaks farsi. we didn't have any internet so we could only call the next day when we were already half way across the country. furthermore, as we were explaining this to the staff member, he aggressively said 'f your city you b' . I was shocked to say the least. after a rude incident with my wife a few weeks back being hacked on a phone call, we have been recording every phone call and I have this on video. I would never recommend this place to anyone! shambles!

Just wow! The food was fabulous, the staff was amazingly helpful and professional specially the guy with a long hair. Great atmosphere and cozy for any meetings or family gathering. Hana is in my neighbourdhood and I go there a lot. The food has always been good but the service is hit and miss. The last time I was there with a friend, on 18/08/23, I told the waitress that the rice was stale and asked her to inform the manager. I saw her talking to manager. But the manager didn't come to our table. I didn't want to make a fuss and ruin my time with a friend who came all the way from South Kensington to West Hampstead. When I was paying the bill, I asked the waitress if she passed on my message. She said yes. However, when I confronted the manager, he denied being informed and he didn't offer any appologies or compensation. . Now this is an unacceptable level of service combined with previous day rice.

The food was amazing and the ambiance was superb. Definitely dining again.

We were in the area and fancied some Persian food. Been to Hana sometime back but wanted to take my daughter there. We had a lovely meal and found it value for money. Service was good too. Will definitely be back again soon.

I previously reviewed this establishment and gave it 5/5 but unfortunately they have since fallen considerably in quality. The restaurant has a hygiene rating of 0 out of 5, ZERO!!! mouse droppings and rat infestation are one of the main reasons, failure to protect the food from said rodents is another, I feel awful thinking I was eating here almost weekly, shame on the management for letting this happen, you have lost me as a customer for ever.

I had an amazing time at Hana Restaurant. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff provided exceptional service. To begin, we savoured the delectable Chicken Wings. I chose the Qorme Sabzi, and it was a truly delightful dish. My cousin went for the Chenge Kebab, which was wonderfully marinated, juicy, and equally delicious. The best part was that the prices were very reasonable, offering excellent quality of food and service for the value.

Authentic Persian cuisine to change up from your usual Italian/ Japanese/ English food. The restaurant is overall quiet and very calming. Their naans were lovely as a starter too.

The food was AMAZING!! We ordered a mixed platter for two and savoured every bite. The lamb is out of this world and we had a lovely primotivo to go with. Will defo be back!!

Hana is our favourite Iranian restaurant in London and we always try to take friends and family there. The Koobideh is my favourite.

So we went here by recommendation of one of our group. And Hana did not disappoint! The assortment of dishes was great, not to overwhelming but also enough variety, that there is something for everyones liking. The food was obviously delicious. Not to spicy if one might worry. I did not ask for more heat, because I was too distracted with the tasty goodness itself. However, I am sure, the friendly waiter would have helped me out. He was very kind, calm and helpful. Also the food came very quickly. So a thanks a lot goes to the waiters and the kitchen.

Food was just about ok, a little disappointing. Strange sour taste, and the salad was just a big pile of mint and herbs (not sure if edible). Also, we were told unapologetically that our table had been double booked and we only had an hour and a quarter. This was particularly strange as the restaurant had several empty tables still available when we left.

I’m puzzled why this place had good reviews! The food is terrible and so is the service! In addition I was also short changed and very conveniently cash only lol

Food took over 2 hours to arrive, after phoning after waiting an hour was told they were too busy to even start my order. Told me to just wait which I thought as quite rude given website says order should be delivered within 45 min max or they call of there is a problem, which they didn't bother to do either... Not sure how a Persian restaurant can't deliver 1 hummus & a portion of grilled chicken within 2 miles on a Sunday evening... When it finally arrived of course it was cold and what makes it worse I was told by the driver I lived too far away... 2 miles too far 😳, Seriously avoid!!!!

Very poor customer service and average food. I invited 4 French and Italian friends to introduce Persian cuisine. Despite an advanced online booking I called the restaurant to prevent any unexpected situation that could potentially disturb the night. We ordered drinks and whilst waiting for the rest of our party to arrive a lady who introduced herself as manager informed us we can have the table only for 2 hours ( have to leave at 9) as they mistakingly had made double booking for that table. She was neither apologetic nor showing any respect to suggest an alternative! In fact she was confrontational telling me I hadn’t asked them for how long that I could have the table, when I challenged her for the inconvenient short notice! We left around 9:30 and they had at least 2 tables empty and we didn’t see any 5 people arriving for the DOUBLE BOOKED table!!! Also, the food we had was average quality and as a Persian foodie person I can say by no means was authentic. GHALYEH MEYGOO was strangely sweet chilli with only strong coriander flavour ( uncharacteristically),Ghormeh sabzi which is a signature Persian dish and you should make an effort to get it right if you have it on your menu was oily and lacked flavour. montepulciano red wine and Chenin Blanc white wine was tasty and fruity though. For sure, we won’t go back again.

I believe Hana restaurant management has alot to work on to improve their customer service. We booked a table for 5 people at 7pm. 30 minutes after our arrival, a young lady identified herself as the manager, came to our table and said that our table has been double booked and we have to leave at 9pm. You would expect a manager to be apologetic when communicate that, not in this case! She was bordering on rude instructing us that this what would happen. We told her that you did not inform us that we need to leave after 2 hours although we have booked online and also confirmed by a phone call. We stayed till 9:30pm and the restaurant got half empty! It looks like that double booking never showed up.

Second time I dine here and loved it both time. The girls working there are super lovely, the food is amazing and the atmosphere so cosy and romantic! The first time I went there with my boyfriend, today I went with a friend and she was so happy about the food and the service. I'll be back again for sure.

We had a lovely experience here after reading the reviews on Google. Last Sunday I treated my family to a lovely Persian meal. The service was great with a warm welcome by the staff. The food came out nice and hot and was very tasty and authentic. We had three courses with drinks for 5 people and were pleasantly surprised at the final bill as it was very reasonable. We will be returning soon.

The koobide kebab was tasty and to be delivered on time but the side was very little ( onions , lemon and sumac) which are the main side of it was unexpected

Tonight I wanted to introduce my Iranian cuisine to one my European friend sadly our experience was very disappointing overall the starters & the main course of my friend were ok however my main course ( ghormeh Sabzi ) was extremely oily & no flavour and far from the traditional recipe…!! When I kindly asked to change it the response was negative I had to pay for the food that I didn’t eat …!! Despite of apology of the waiter who was very embarrassed not to have the permission to change my dish yet I am still shocked to see this unpleasant & unprofessional attitude from the owner of this restaurant !!!! For sure this wrong policy won’t help them to have the new customers …! Therefore I won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone however my only star goes to Sam for her apology & positive attitude & lovely smile 😊 By the way if you are looking for a good Iranian restaurant search for” Kateh “ or “Belgrave” in the same area 👍

Il ristorante è carino, il personale molto gentile ed attento. Il cibo sembrava piuttosto autentico nei sapori. Non mi è piaciuto tutto ma tutto sommato ho cenato bene. Il prezzo molto onesto direi. Da provare se si vogliono sperimentare sapori inusuali.

I booked an outside table in the cold of December and the heater kept us nice and toasty. Great choice on the menu, I opted for chargrilled chicken which was one of the nicest I've ever had. Succulent and tasty. Everything else was really good. Great service. Will definitely be back!

Went there with family the price was very expensive and very ridiculously small portion of food and in the end charge us £20 for service charge with we didn’t get anything as service people expect.

The Iranian food served here has high quality. My only criticism would be the portion sizes for the price. Especially the rice dishes are quite small. The place is tiny but usually very clan and well looked after with very few seating areas outdoor and proper outdoor heating equipment.

They sent us half the portion they would normally when we call (and know we’re Iranian) Very disappointed 4 small pieces of chicken HALF a tomato rice was sent in another box. Salad was an insult. Exquisite wine Gavi de Gavi and even more exquisite was the food. Being veg we ordered a few starters and the aubergine main. I gravy was not spicy hot yet very flavourful and the aubergine broke off like chicken.. meat lovers - this dish gives meat dishes a run for their money. All plates had their own unique flavour- all subtle never over powering. Well done Hana we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time there

I used to order from Hana regularly as I live locally and it was the best Persian in London, however last two times have been utter dissappointment in terms of quality of meat and taste. the chenjeh was so tough and koobideh looked and tasted undercooked and dry. Please pay attention and keep your standards high. Very dissappointing to see the quality decline.
