Booked this for a Sunday lunch with my parents: It was the perfect spot. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere really nice; lots of families but not too loud. The food was amazing, really really delicious, well priced and great portion sizes. Despite living south of the river, I will definitely visit this place again!

Really tasty Persian food. The khoobideh was particularly good and my wife had the fesenjan which she said was the best she ever had. It was nice to be served enough rice without being overfaced with a huge place of rice which is common in Persian restaurants. The staff were also very friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!

Cheese and greens platter with bread were delicious The mast khiar is good The kashk was good but I personally prefer it to have a more tangy taste Sabzi was delicious The service made me feel a bit uncomfortable because the server, though polite and nice, was somewhat awkward and perhaps needed a bit more training

I was calling to complain about an order and I got rudely cussed out by one of the Persian speaking staff members as my wife only speaks farsi. we didn't have any internet so we could only call the next day when we were already half way across the country. furthermore, as we were explaining this to the staff member, he aggressively said 'f your city you b' . I was shocked to say the least. after a rude incident with my wife a few weeks back being hacked on a phone call, we have been recording every phone call and I have this on video. I would never recommend this place to anyone! shambles!

Just wow! The food was fabulous, the staff was amazingly helpful and professional specially the guy with a long hair. Great atmosphere and cozy for any meetings or family gathering. Also, recently another salon added to the restaurant which makes it perfect to have any parties or birthdays. highly recommend for the people who are foodies and looking for great service!

Hana is in my neighbourdhood and I go there a lot. The food has always been good but the service is hit and miss. The last time I was there with a friend, on 18/08/23, I told the waitress that the rice was stale and asked her to inform the manager. I saw her talking to manager. But the manager didn't come to our table. I didn't want to make a fuss and ruin my time with a friend who came all the way from South Kensington to West Hampstead. When I was paying the bill, I asked the waitress if she passed on my message. She said yes. However, when I confronted the manager, he denied being informed and he didn't offer any appologies or compensation. . Now this is an unacceptable level of service combined with previous day rice.

The food was amazing and the ambiance was superb. Definitely dining again.

We were in the area and fancied some Persian food. Been to Hana sometime back but wanted to take my daughter there. We had a lovely meal and found it value for money. Service was good too. Will definitely be back again soon.

I previously reviewed this establishment and gave it 5/5 but unfortunately they have since fallen considerably in quality. The restaurant has a hygiene rating of 0 out of 5, ZERO!!! mouse droppings and rat infestation are one of the main reasons, failure to protect the food from said rodents is another, I feel awful thinking I was eating here almost weekly, shame on the management for letting this happen, you have lost me as a customer for ever.

I had an amazing time at Hana Restaurant. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff provided exceptional service. To begin, we savoured the delectable Chicken Wings. I chose the Qorme Sabzi, and it was a truly delightful dish. My cousin went for the Chenge Kebab, which was wonderfully marinated, juicy, and equally delicious. The best part was that the prices were very reasonable, offering excellent quality of food and service for the value.

Good food. With special attention to the grilled dishes we had as a group of 10 last Friday evening.

Authentic Persian cuisine to change up from your usual Italian/ Japanese/ English food. The restaurant is overall quiet and very calming. Their naans were lovely as a starter too.

The food was AMAZING!! We ordered a mixed platter for two and savoured every bite. The lamb is out of this world and we had a lovely primotivo to go with. Will defo be back!!

Hana is our favourite Iranian restaurant in London and we always try to take friends and family there. The Koobideh is my favourite.

Almost every time my family gets takeaway, we get it from here. The food is consistently good and we rarely eat meat, but when we do this is our go to.

So we went here by recommendation of one of our group. And Hana did not disappoint! The assortment of dishes was great, not to overwhelming but also enough variety, that there is something for everyones liking. The food was obviously delicious. Not to spicy if one might worry. I did not ask for more heat, because I was too distracted with the tasty goodness itself. However, I am sure, the friendly waiter would have helped me out. He was very kind, calm and helpful. Also the food came very quickly. So a thanks a lot goes to the waiters and the kitchen.

Food was just about ok, a little disappointing. Strange sour taste, and the salad was just a big pile of mint and herbs (not sure if edible). Also, we were told unapologetically that our table had been double booked and we only had an hour and a quarter. This was particularly strange as the restaurant had several empty tables still available when we left.

I’m puzzled why this place had good reviews! The food is terrible and so is the service! In addition I was also short changed and very conveniently cash only lol

Succulent and juicy kebabs which are full of flavour. Reasonable portions with fair prices. Service ok. A very casual eatery. I will come back to try their other items.

Food took over 2 hours to arrive, after phoning after waiting an hour was told they were too busy to even start my order. Told me to just wait which I thought as quite rude given website says order should be delivered within 45 min max or they call of there is a problem, which they didn't bother to do either... Not sure how a Persian restaurant can't deliver 1 hummus & a portion of grilled chicken within 2 miles on a Sunday evening... When it finally arrived of course it was cold and what makes it worse I was told by the driver I lived too far away... 2 miles too far 😳, Seriously avoid!!!!

Very poor customer service and average food. I invited 4 French and Italian friends to introduce Persian cuisine. Despite an advanced online booking I called the restaurant to prevent any unexpected situation that could potentially disturb the night. We ordered drinks and whilst waiting for the rest of our party to arrive a lady who introduced herself as manager informed us we can have the table only for 2 hours ( have to leave at 9) as they mistakingly had made double booking for that table. She was neither apologetic nor showing any respect to suggest an alternative! In fact she was confrontational telling me I hadn’t asked them for how long that I could have the table, when I challenged her for the inconvenient short notice! We left around 9:30 and they had at least 2 tables empty and we didn’t see any 5 people arriving for the DOUBLE BOOKED table!!! Also, the food we had was average quality and as a Persian foodie person I can say by no means was authentic. GHALYEH MEYGOO was strangely sweet chilli with only strong coriander flavour ( uncharacteristically),Ghormeh sabzi which is a signature Persian dish and you should make an effort to get it right if you have it on your menu was oily and lacked flavour. montepulciano red wine and Chenin Blanc white wine was tasty and fruity though. For sure, we won’t go back again.

Second time I dine here and loved it both time. The girls working there are super lovely, the food is amazing and the atmosphere so cosy and romantic! The first time I went there with my boyfriend, today I went with a friend and she was so happy about the food and the service. I'll be back again for sure.

I believe Hana restaurant management has alot to work on to improve their customer service. We booked a table for 5 people at 7pm. 30 minutes after our arrival, a young lady identified herself as the manager, came to our table and said that our table has been double booked and we have to leave at 9pm. You would expect a manager to be apologetic when communicate that, not in this case! She was bordering on rude instructing us that this what would happen. We told her that you did not inform us that we need to leave after 2 hours although we have booked online and also confirmed by a phone call. We stayed till 9:30pm and the restaurant got half empty! It looks like that double booking never showed up.

The owner is very disrespectful and rude the service from him was very poor I wouldn’t recommend this place

Absolutely divine meals with a spot on, no fuss friendly service, while the menu is perfectly Persian, the Italian touches are enjoyable and delightfully surprising. Will definitely visit again and recommend.

We had a lovely experience here after reading the reviews on Google. Last Sunday I treated my family to a lovely Persian meal. The service was great with a warm welcome by the staff. The food came out nice and hot and was very tasty and authentic. We had three courses with drinks for 5 people and were pleasantly surprised at the final bill as it was very reasonable. We will be returning soon.

The koobide kebab was tasty and to be delivered on time but the side was very little ( onions , lemon and sumac) which are the main side of it was unexpected

Tonight I wanted to introduce my Iranian cuisine to one my European friend sadly our experience was very disappointing overall the starters & the main course of my friend were ok however my main course ( ghormeh Sabzi ) was extremely oily & no flavour and far from the traditional recipe…!! When I kindly asked to change it the response was negative I had to pay for the food that I didn’t eat …!! Despite of apology of the waiter who was very embarrassed not to have the permission to change my dish yet I am still shocked to see this unpleasant & unprofessional attitude from the owner of this restaurant !!!! For sure this wrong policy won’t help them to have the new customers …! Therefore I won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone however my only star goes to Sam for her apology & positive attitude & lovely smile 😊 By the way if you are looking for a good Iranian restaurant search for” Kateh “ or “Belgrave” in the same area 👍

Il ristorante è carino, il personale molto gentile ed attento. Il cibo sembrava piuttosto autentico nei sapori. Non mi è piaciuto tutto ma tutto sommato ho cenato bene. Il prezzo molto onesto direi. Da provare se si vogliono sperimentare sapori inusuali.

Really friendly staff, brilliant food and great flavour and texture. Small detail, but nice to not have huge portions of rice like other Persian places - this was ideal portion sizing without wasting food. Will go back.

I booked an outside table in the cold of December and the heater kept us nice and toasty. Great choice on the menu, I opted for chargrilled chicken which was one of the nicest I've ever had. Succulent and tasty. Everything else was really good. Great service. Will definitely be back!

Went there with family the price was very expensive and very ridiculously small portion of food and in the end charge us £20 for service charge with we didn’t get anything as service people expect.

The Iranian food served here has high quality. My only criticism would be the portion sizes for the price. Especially the rice dishes are quite small. The place is tiny but usually very clan and well looked after with very few seating areas outdoor and proper outdoor heating equipment.

They sent us half the portion they would normally when we call (and know we’re Iranian) Very disappointed 4 small pieces of chicken HALF a tomato rice was sent in another box. Salad was an insult. Exquisite wine Gavi de Gavi and even more exquisite was the food. Being veg we ordered a few starters and the aubergine main. I gravy was not spicy hot yet very flavourful and the aubergine broke off like chicken.. meat lovers - this dish gives meat dishes a run for their money. All plates had their own unique flavour- all subtle never over powering. Well done Hana we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time there

I used to order from Hana regularly as I live locally and it was the best Persian in London, however last two times have been utter dissappointment in terms of quality of meat and taste. the chenjeh was so tough and koobideh looked and tasted undercooked and dry. Please pay attention and keep your standards high. Very dissappointing to see the quality decline.

5/5 for the 4th time in a row. Flavours consistently good. Varied, authentic, satisfying and not greasy. Priced well for the quality/quantity you get, the staff is attentive and friendly. Overall a nice and cosy atmosphere. Will be coming back again and bring friends and family along. A true gem in West Hampstead.

A nice homey place with very attentive waiters. Food was good, prices are a little on a higher end, but still reasonable. Dinner places are recommended to be booked ahead.

As a frequent restaurant goer, I found Hana restaurant below average. food was cold , rice was bland and stiff - not as tender and fluffy as we expect from Persian chefs. The portions were underwhelming for the price! It’s customary to serve rice with butter specially with kebabs at no extra cost. Dishes were so plain! No sides no garnish! I saw the absence of generosity in every sense! I paid £63 for 2. Ridiculous 12/5 % service charge for the service we didn’t receive. I’m not a type to ask about items on my bill, I paid it gracefully and left knowing I would not return. I suggest the owner/manager to dedicate some time, go to other restaurants and LEARN. What was worse, the waitress was constantly hanging around our table making us feel uncomfortable! It’s not a kind of ambiance you can sit and enjoy your food and conversation. It was like , sit eat and leave! We could get the best food and service at any other Persian or Italian restaurant for way much less in London. All in all I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

I just had the most epic meal at Hana with my finance. We had a persian pomegranate chicken dish called Fesenjan which was unbelievably tasty. The owner - Davud - was charming and made us feel so welcome. What a special local restaurant (the best in West Hampstead I'd say) and we will be returning time and time again....!!!!!!

The chicken joojeh was cooked to perfection! The lamb chops were also tender and succulent. We had to eat in the car as it was takeaway only however thoroughly enjoyed this meal! Looking forward to going back when dining in is possible.

We have ordered different dishes in the past and they were good, apart from their koobideh kabab. Always burnt and very dry. Disappointing when you look forward to open the container and see the burnt kebab inside, what are you supose to do, go back and ask for another one?

Hana is a must go-to if you want to sample Persian cuisine of the highest order (and at reasonable prices). Great, intimate ambience, plus a friendly and prompt service, all coupled with a genial mine host. Time and money well-spent.

Hi Happy new year everyone I hope all of you dear ones are in perfect health. Sorry, I have something to share with you at the beginning of the new year. From my very bad experience of henna ordering food online. Basically After ordering for a while and seeing that the customer was not important, one day I wrote a note while ordering, please do not let the food get cold. And they canceled my order very quickly. Anyway, I was aware of the rules of the restaurant, I called and unfortunately I was lied to that the restaurant does not have a driver. I called my friend and he immediately ordered from the henna restaurant through the Just Eat app and he told me you are right, they lied to you. I said again it did not matter and after a few days I called the restaurant, I spoke very politely to someone I do not know who was and he kept lying to me. "We may cancel the order while working," he said. Well, I found out here that this gentleman is really telling me we can cancel the order. With a smile on the phone, I asked him again, "Don't you think this is intentional?" He got angry again. I tried to listen more because he was talking so loud that it bothered my ear. I asked my questions again in a different way. Can I re-order from your restaurant? The man said yes. He began to explain his answer aloud again..... And today I ordered food again and the same scenario was repeated. Interestingly, the man who spoke to me, even if he owns a restaurant, does not matter to me. He spoke very nervously and loudly. I hope if anyone complains about the poor service of a restaurant. The manager of that restaurant should investigate the matter. Until the manager responds disrespectfully to the customer. And lie to the customer. I hope no one really orders food from this restaurant.🙏

Food is always good here, never disappointed however what prompted me to review this place on this occasion was the service, the ladies that served us tonight were extremely polite and courteous.

The food and service here are great. However on arrival we were asked to put on our face masks, which is no problem, but the waitress requesting this wore her own mask entirely below her bottom lip, where it precisely remained for the entire evening. Her colleague wore his mask higher once in a while, but asked no customers at all to wear them on entry.

Very disappointed with the fact that SERVICE CHARGE ADDED TO THE FINAL BILL IS NOT GOING TO THE SERVING STAFF. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTY. Finding out that the boss is taking the service charge to himself made us trully gutted. Is there legal regulation on this topic?

Three of us came here on a quiet Tuesday evening the restaurant had a nice cosy atmosphere. We firstly ordered drinks which arrived promptly however one of the soft drinks was left off and the americano with milk was almost black in colour so we had to ask for more milk but were told by a slightly hostile restaurant that there was milk in it already however she did bring more and the third drink which had been forgotton. We then ordered our food which arrived in a reasonable time as the meat was obviously fresh. We asked for chilli sauce with the meals however the waitress said she had brought one and indicated a very small bowl to share between 3. The food itself was delicious the meat was fresh flavourful and perfectly cooked however the rice was sub standard in my opinion it lacked any flavour and felt like it had been sat around. We asked for the bill and paid in full excluding the optional service charge as we felt the service was not up to par so we did leave a small tip but not the recommended amount. As we went to leave one of the waitresses proceeded to call after me that we had not paid her enough money and our bill was short in front of the whole restaurant. Mortified I allowed my husband to deal with it who explained that the service charge was optional and the reasons why we did not pay it however the waitress disagreed that it was optional and merely shrugged as though he was making it up. All in all the service let the whole experience down and considering we travelled quite away it was very disappointing.

Lovely staff great top quality food ... a bit pricey compared to other top Persian restaurants. There is no offer of basic on the house bread or anything else. Will be back again or do takeaway for lower pricing...

We started ordering online since a couple of months (August 2020) and so far it has been very very good! The food is delicious and the delivery very on time! The order is prepared with care. Everything is well packed and warm. They also use to add a little bag of spices, as extra. Lovely!!! 🥰 If there were 6 stars on Google... I'd have definitely put them 😆 Congrats and thank you, Hana!
