The best restaurants serving Italian food in Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

Randomly stopped in after a long day of travel and didn’t disappoint. Great drinks and excellent food. Pizza was awesome along with speciality pastas.

A nice clean Caffè with friendly staff. Great choice on the menu something to suit everyone. We settled on cream scone and cheese scone. latte and cappuccino both drinks were served with tablet and were nice and hot very reasonably priced. A place we gave been meaning to try and can say we will be back.

The pizzas here were superb, and the staff were very friendly. The only thing that makes me hesitate about returning was the level of noise. Restaurant was full and the noise level was mahoosive. Maybe we just were unlucky on the night we went, but I'd try again as pizzas were great.

Fantastic food, great friendly service. We will be back.

Now called Mamma Mia was quiet as we were there at 5pm on a Thurs night but still had a few tables in food was fabulous and service was amazing

The best pizza in town, I’ve been to many places in Italy and ate a lot of pizzas so I know what I’m talking about. I would really like a ball pizza with fish and pizza 4 cheeses and ideally with truffles❤️

The pizza is still tasty but I felt more ( as the Americans would say) nickel and dimed. To explain- the place was once cheap and cheerful. Now, however, 3 of us spent £120 for a pizza each, 2 starters between the 3 of us, one cocktail and one glass of wine each. Example of a slightly greedy approach...£2.50 extra for a wee pot of garlic mayo which is just too much. House wine now £25 per bottle. So go by all means but your bill will mount up unless you have only a Margherita pizza and a glass of water and who is going to do that!!??

A real gem. Superb seafood plus, great service and reasonable prices.

Este restaurante italiano era precios muy razonables para la cena - buen servicio. Nuestro grupo pidió la Focaccia Pomodorok, Arancinia Salsiccia, Trofie Al Pesto, Lasaña, Pappardelle Ragu, Linguine Gamberi, Pappardelle Funghi y el vino ripasso. Lo recomendaría.

El mejor sandwich italiano fuera de Italia. Deliciosas combinaciones de carne y queso con deliciosas salsas. El pan es abundante y masticable. Maravilloso!

Great food and service. Lovely lunchtime with a nice buzz atmosphere

Disappointing Experience – Good Food, Poor Service A great restaurant is judged by three key things: service, food quality, and ambiance (along with cleanliness and pricing). Unfortunately, The Italian Kitchen fell short in multiple areas. We ordered drinks, a starter, and main courses, but everything arrived at almost the same time. When we asked the server to bring the starter later, we were told, "We can't do that." The food itself was good, but the rushed service and lack of flexibility spoiled the whole experience. For the high prices, we expected better hospitality—instead, we felt like we were dining at a fast-food joint, finishing our meal in just 30 minutes. Good food isn’t enough when the service fails. Won’t be returning.

Wonderful staff, attentive without being overbearing - happy to give recommendations and were accommodating of our guest with hearing issues and moved us to a quieter area without fuss. Wine reasonably priced and all served by the glass! Only negative was main courses took a while to come out but we weren’t in a rush We will be back!
