Caffe Pieno in Glasgow City

A nice clean Caffè with friendly staff. Great choice on the menu something to suit everyone. We settled on cream scone and cheese scone. latte and cappuccino both drinks were served with tablet and were nice and hot very reasonably priced. A place we gave been meaning to try and can say we will be back.

Early lunch: salad, soup, panini, and a pudding. Unpretentious, friendly, and well-executed. The lemon curd cake was very nice. Recommended.

Always the same, just excellent food and service. Been going here for food for some time now and cannot think of a better place to visit.

Excellent takeaway special of chicken and rice soup, garlic bread, lasagne and cake - lots for £20 supposed to be for two people but did us two nights. And their coffee is also good!

Well! Today I picked up my meal for 2. It was honestly the best food I have had for a long time. We both had soup, carbonara, garlic bread and brownie cheesecakes. I would highly recommend ordering before you collect to make sure you get what you want it’s amazing.

Down to Caffe Pieno today for their re-opening for takeaway/meal collection. Lovely to see the staff again. Ordered the ‘meal for £20’ and not disappointed. The portions are massive. 2 soups, 2 pastas, 2 slice garlic bread and 2 desserts - great value. Well set up for collection during this time. All the food was lovely. Takeaway morning rolls starting tomorrow (1/5/20). I go here most days ‘pre-corona’ and am never disappointed. Just love this place and the staff. Highly recommend if your looking for good italian food, breakfast roll or just a coffee and cake!! 😁😁

We eat here regularly, we love the incredible staff, fantastic food and great value. We have now had 3 course meals in the evening with friends and the food was outstanding. The attention to detail is fabulous and we are made to feel very welcome in every visit.. thank you to all at Cafe Pieno.

I have been using the Caffe Pieno for some time, with numerous visits with my wife Pauline, family and friends. The menu has a large selection of food and drink, most of which we have tried, and I have to say, we have never been let down in any way. The staff are second to none always giving you a warm welcome. If you are looking for a cosy place for a meal, a drink or just a delicious cake, give it a go!

We are regulars here and it is safe to say this is our favourite place to go. The food is amazing 👍🏻, the coffee’s are dreamy 👍🏻and the staff are fabulous 👍🏻. What makes it even better is the cafe is dog friendly 🐶. Winston loves to pop in and say hello and is always greeted by the friendly staff and a dog biscuit. They also offer private hire in the evenings. We have booked up for our engagement dinner 💍 in August. A small family run cafe that care. Definitely worth a visit ❤️ X

There was one other person in the cafe...apart from a staff member on lunch. Our request was simple enough All we wanted were two soups and a glass of water. Over half an hour later the soup arrived....a watered down version of Minestrone. The water had been forgotten. The waiter was friendly enough but did not seem to have a clue as to what service was about. Our intention had been to have follow up on the soup.....but not with service at the slow level provided here. It is high time they got the act together!

We live close by and this is a great spot for some food. We usually takeaway as the place is small, but either at home or sitting in we've only had good experiences with the food. The staff has always been very friendly.

The best staff and first class food in welcoming surroundings. Caffe Pieno is small enough to always be busy, but the staff are big hearted and smiley at all times; its just a great wee place.
