Romans Pizzeria in Glasgow City

Randomly stopped in after a long day of travel and didn’t disappoint. Great drinks and excellent food. Pizza was awesome along with speciality pastas.

Don't judge this people based on it's looks. This place is amazing! Pizza and sides was delicious and will 100% be back. Ordering the number 1 pizza and the number 5. The number 1 was a classic margarita and the number 5 was a vegan one, with 'chicken', mushrooms, red onions, rocket, tomatoes and pickles. Both had great flavour and tasted extremely fresh. We also ordered salt n chili tater tots which were also tasted good.

Just used Romans on just eat and cant say what was worse delivery, updates on just eat app or the taste ordered it 11.35. Order delivery to be 12,35 on app. Got to 12.42 and the app was still showing order confirmed and still 6 stages off getting to my home. I called them but ring ..ring ..ring nothing Taste By putting some Bay leaves on does not make it expensive. You know when somebody does not know the balance of what they put in ..pepper..salt...I actually has some small ketchup pots and was tasting better. Lesson of the day...do your updates regularly to keep customer up to date delay your available if obviously not great preparation before 12 orders Your pizza is nothing great though

Delicious takeaway pizza at a really reasonable price. I had the spicy one and it was great. Would have it again and highly recommend.

Gluten free forget it. Turned up and got ignored. I’m a female over 50 so now invisible. after a while with no one else there, tried to order but no gluten free. Apology came after I walked out and was an afterthought, they really don’t care.

Don’t order here, they’ll forgot half the order and the other half will be undercooked, they don’t respond to complaints and never pick up the phone, whenever you speak to a member of staff all you get is attitude. How busy can it be on a Thursday night that you can forget half an order? I am a chef myself, I understand exactly how a restaurant operates and I can guarantee there’s absolutely no excuse for undercooking and forgetting items on a weekday.

We loved this restaurant when it was in merchant city, they have now moved to St Enoch Sq and are in Hootenanny pub. The pizzas are just as good as before, bar staff in Hootenanny are great, friendly and fast service, you can either sit inside the traditonal bar or they have a massive outdoor area with a big covered section and loads of heaters.

Ordered Vegan Pizza (Vegan cheese, mushrooms, onions, smoked vegan chicken). It was Okay. Not the high standard we expected. perhaps next time we will try something different.

Our first try of Romans was such a big success we decided to come back for my husband's birthday. The food was excellent again, with three of us having pasta and one pizza. The staff were really friendly and made a fuss of my husband and put a candle in his dessert! Definitely worth a visit and I will be back again.

My friend and I had a couple of delicious pizzas and shared them with a salad and bottle of Primitivo - really fresh ingredients and thin and crispy base. Highly recommended

Entered this restaurant on Sunday mainly to get out the rain but so glad we did. Antonio greeted us and his service was friendly and efficient from start to finish. Good choice of pizza and pasta but myself and my husband opted for pizza. This was served quickly and both were very tasty. Will definitely be back

Visited here on Saturday night, managed to squeeze us in for dinner. I ordered a vegan chicken pasta dish which was lovely (very unusual to find vegan chicken in most places still!) and my partner ordered a chicken/mixed meat pizza. Really enjoyed the bar and cocktails were lovely. Would definitely go back and recommend if you are in Glasgow.

Weeknight dinner with friends and absolutely amazing pizza as well as wonderful service from Emily, who is so enthusiastic and welcoming. The menu is great for those with dietary requirements and we were all awkward and asked for changes to pizza toppings and these were accommodated without extra charge. Their garlic mayo is fantastic too! We loved it and will be back soon
