We were trying to find a particular restaurant when we finally asked a woman walking her dog only to find out that our map app was confused to say the least. She recommended V and C which was close by. The restaurant is located in the back of a very nice neighborhood grocery and wine store. The Italian food was exceptional and the prices were very reasonable. The wine selection was fantastic. The best cappuccino and desserts were out of this world. Why they aren’t rated higher is beyond me!

Pizza got delivered to someone else no refund phoned the guy and he said sorry nothing i can do to help then blamed me for trying to rip him off absolute joke

I always have spaghetti con polpette and this is the best I have had in all the branches. The food was fresh and so tasty, the staff were warm and everything was delicious.

Delivery arrived over 15 mins late. Driver showed as at a drive through en route to me!!? Focaccia was cold and both pasta dishes were full of oil. Chips were the same as those you get from a Chinese. Overall, very underwhelming for the price.

Ordered online at 5.15pm, and was given an estimated collection time of 5.35. Went to the cafe next door to have a quick coffee, then went to pick up my order at 5.40, giving them 5 minutes grace, only to be told it would be ten minutes. Ended up waiting, along with another customer in the same situation, until 6.25. We asked numerous times for updates on where our food was, but just kept getting told 'soon'. Myself, and the other customer, had to go through to the restaurant side to try and get an update. I eventually got my food, nearly an hour after I'd ordered. Bearing in mind I'd ordered only 2 pizzas and a garlic bread, I have no idea why it took so long, especially when the restaurant didn't even look particularly busy. The food itself was basic, and not worth the price or the wait. I've had better frozen pizzas in all honesty. Used to be a decent place, but has went drastically downhill in recent times and won't be visiting again I'm afraid.

First time at Giovannis, had the Rigatoni arrabbiata which was perfectly spicy Chocolate fudge cake to finish was brilliant as well. Service was first class and the waitress couldn’t be nicer 10/10 Surprisingly quiet considering the food was fab!!!

Visited Prezzo due brief visit in Edinburgh. It looked really great on the photos so decided to give it a go. We turned up in restaurant on time and waited 5 minutes to be welcomed as front of the house keep disappearing to sort someone else out. We have been seated at the small table, when having booth booked online. The atmosphere overall was really loud and we just felt ignored, on the couple of occasions we had to stand up and go to the bar to ask for service such as drinks. The only good experience during our visit was food. Really delicious and well made. We’re disappointed with our visit and hoped to have better time.

We live locally and visit often but it was a very disappointing birthday lunch today..... I decided to try the Penne Toscana but when it arrived it was only lukewarm. The Waitress apologised & took it back to the kitchen. After a couple of minutes it returned (same chipped plate, same meal with a poor serving of mushrooms) slightly warmer but still not heated through. It was tasty so I just ate it rather than cause a fuss. When the Waiter cleared the plates I mentioned an off putting piece of what appeared to be gristly chicken or sausage that was also in the (vegetarian) meal, he apologised after prodding it with my knife, none the wiser to what it was, however it had further spoilt my enjoyment of what could’ve been a tasty dish. No second drinks were offered, we had to wait until we were ordering our desserts to have another drink. Only 1 drink then arrived, we had to ask again for the other which then was offered to 2 tables before we got it. Husband was disappointed with the tiramisu which he said had no coffee flavour to it. Overall a very disappointing visit from a food and service aspect. We understand that staff change frequently however today it was obvious that new / inexperienced staff, lovely as they were, would’ve benefitted from support from senior staff to ensure good service and to deal with problems that arose.

My burger was burnt . Ended up leaving half of it after trying to make it edible by smothering it in coleslaw.
