We enjoyed our lunch, food was great, large portions. Tried a pizza and was impressed. Would for sure go back for food. Service could be slightly better. It was not overly busy and we did find there was a bit of time left checking on us and nobody asked if we wanted more drinks. But you know what, that’s minor and won’t stop us returning

A wee bit pricey given we opted for the set price menu. Service good. Food was OK.

Had lunch, and the service was fantastic. 10 minutes later, our meal was ready, and what a meal 😋 😍 we could not finish it. Value for money is fantastic. Great selection, great service, and great staff. Will be back with friends and family. Thanks for a fantastic lunch 😋 😀 😊

Worst meal at an Italian EVER !!!! Wasn’t busy when we arrived for a table for 2 …. Seated quickly and drink order done … hubby had a pint I had a Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri well wasn’t frozen when it came but tasted Ok .. hubby ordered Chicken Strips and garlic dip for starter and Lasagne for main, I had Carne Arancini and King Prawn Gamabarini Linguine. Starters came fairly quickly but hubbies Strips were in a green looking batter hard as anything and the dip tasted off, my Arancini had very little rice and NO meat just cheese. When they took away the starter they never asked if everything was ok as hubby left most of his Strips. Lasagne was meat sauce one strip of pasta and melted cheese on top, I knew the Linguine would be a little spicy but holy hell must have been all chilli very little pasta sauce with 4 Prawns it was so hot I couldn’t eat it. Ok they took the price of my main off bill but wouldn’t recommend this place at all !!!! On getting back to hotel hubby was violently sick, I was up all night with an upset stomach. Avoid at all costs

The food came out fast and was good with large portions. Never hard to get a table and good for a quick budget lunch option.

Went here for lunch and was served by a very polite young man called Myles. Can’t fault him at all. Quick to serving us our food and was very tasty!

First time using app so when delivery driver asked for 4 digit code had no idea about and initially could onle locate order number. Food was good but pizza and chips were cold on arrival. Pasta temperature was fine.

A family four 07/09/24. When we arrived the place was very busy, we were shown to a table ordered drinks which arrived quickly. With food ordered we waited around 20mins and my food arrived, expecting the rest of the food for the table to arrive shortly. No a further 15min and having to ask where the rest of the order was. It did arrive soon after but the over all experience of the place had quickly went downhill. Usually a restaurant serves all the food at once to a table at the same time.

Wow absolutely disgusting!! Macaroni was pasta with like a block of cheese just chucked in with it. And the chips were hard and dark brown - early changing the oil is too expensive for them! Never again

One of the tastiest Italian meals I've had recently. Extensive menu at reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Food was ok staff seemed rushed about manager was serving mainly all food dudes just come here and there should be where food made for each group not one here and there for one and another table basket which contained garlic bread was damaged better off in the bin

Ordered cheesy garlic bread. Turned up hard burnt sliced every day bread no cheese and in a heap in a box. Was awful i wouldnt of fed that to my dog never mind send that out my kitchen to a paying customer.

lasagne disgusting. clumps of meatballs. pasta is not in layers and no white sauce between layers as would be expected. it's a waste of money

Good food and reasonably priced

This is the place to go if you want, good food, great hospitality and a classy atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough for us and even though they were busy the wait for drinks and food was as you would expect for a quiet night.

We met here for a family (6) get-to-gether on the 23rd July and were absolutely delighted with the food and the friendly, polite waitresses. It was a joy and delight to be there for a special meal. Full marks to the staff.

Well where does one start all was good ordered food and non alcoholic drinks ie soda water . Then starter of calamari arrived which was OK I suppose. Brake Brothers must of changed recipe . Garlic bread was like slices from a half loaf with flora margarine with garlic and parsley rationed. As for main course I ordered a chicken with spinach and mushroom in a cream sauce which wouldve been nice if there was more sauce less oil . My friends cajun chicken pasta was oven baked looked good however only cajun was in name of dish and very few bits of chicken but did make up for it with large lumps of some sort of stringy cheese but hey ho rant over please people think once not twice just say no . As for the 2 gentlemen who I take it are supposed to be the restaurant managers . It looked like a case of Zero #@%#s given which gives this place no hope of going forward .

Brilliant waitress. But ordered a dairy free pizza for child with allergy. Arrived looking like real cheese. Questioned this. Was informed once checked with kitchen it was infact real cheese. And they made another. Had i not asked , the bairn would of been in a pretty bad way. Paid bill without question and left goven the lack of Fs given by the manager who sat on his A the whole time watching and not trying to apologise for the error Too many times ive not liked this place. I only come when i get roped into it. Not going again. Done , theres other pkaces in the leisure park with better food at a similar if not cheaper price.

Absolutely brilliant breakfast here last Sunday

Dropped in for a quick tea. Busy and not enough waiters to look after guests, as usual! No-one came to see if food was ok Risotto was bland stodgy very few mushrooms and no taste. I was really looking forward to it, as it was one of my favourite dishes. Not a great choice on Presto menu for Vegetarians. Told the waiter when I paid , seemed surprised and lamely said sorry. Won't be back!

Dropped in for a quick meal around 5.45pm. Not enough staff to serve and spend time with customers. Fuoka pizza was nice ,but mushroom risotto was stodgy and bland and had no taste. The risotto used to be delicious. , was so disappointed! 10% service charge added without being told, not much service given. Don't think we will be back!

me and my friend absolutely love the pizzas that tony macs does, but unfortunately the service is always rather slow. the staff is friendly and helpful, but the wait for our bill at the end of the meal is terrible. we find this only happens at this branch so we try to go to other ones. but as long as you're not in a rush I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited Dunfermline establishment early May and was quite disappointed with both meal and service on offer. Wrote directly on Website to offer Feedback rather than a Review site, thinking it would offer them a chance to respond. We’re now at the end of May and despite contacting them 4 times, have yet to receive any communication from them. Obviously Customer Satisfaction is quite low on their priorities? Perhaps Tony Macaroni should remember, there are very many alternatives around for eating out. That’s the second time I think I’ll eat there. The First and Last.

Just turned up for lunch with the husband in tow. Seated quickly to a booth, drinks order and food taken, both had burgers, mine was chicken, his beef and both really good, first lattes were extra hot which i like, 2nd ones not so much. Seats were comfy, place was warm inside but outside needs tidied up at entrance. Wouldn't say its a must go to place but is deffo worth a visit now n again.

Tony Mac’s was one of my favourite restaurants before this meal. I got a classic margarita pizza and spaghetti & meatball, and both had such poor quality. Genuinely upset I spent my hard earnings on this. Is a refund possible?? Maybe ingredients have changed to save money?? Really upsetting 😭 I didn’t even eat the spaghetti.

Food is decent but meal was constantly being interrupted but two waitresses, we were asked four times in the space of 15 minutes if our food was fine. Quite annoying

We dropped in here for a bite to eat after visiting Dobbies across the road. We ordered burgers and to follow up sticky toffee pudding and ice cream from their special deal menu. Which worked out a bit cheaper than ordering from the main menu. You got the choice of 1, 2 or three courses. Our drinks were lattes which tasted nice but could of been a bit warmer. The food came out soon after, which tasted great, no complaints about any of it and it was large portions. The server's were polite, prompt, well presented and everytime they came to the table asked how we were liking our meal. Very nice experience.

Didnt make a reservation, just walked in and Max was very happy to seat us, Gabby took our orders (without writing it down)we had 3 courses and it was all lovely. Quick service, not too quick as the food was quality. Only Max and Gabby looking after around 22 tables and they worked well with a smile on their face. Never stopped whilst we were there (almost 2 hours) will definitely be back 😊

My memory of Tony Macaroni used to be a lot better. Not been here in a couple of years but definitely feels like it's heading the same way as Frankie & Benny's where they started making cut backs on small things and before you know it, it's a complete shadow of its former self and not an enjoyable experience. The waitress wasn't that welcoming, the food was OK but not what it once was and things like the kids drawing sheets have now been laminated so kids can't draw on them and the crayons removed.

pasta was dry, the risotto was hard and dry really wasn't worth the money I paid for everything

Good food friendly waiter, was empty on day we went so obv there was no atmosphere been when it's busy and found it too loud but thts just a preference tht I prefer quite places . So all in all good place to eat, reasonable prices

Took the family for a birthday meal. Picky kids could all find something to enjoy. There is a set meal and if you look closely you can find vouchers to reduce the cost. I believe ours came because we are on the mailing list. Food is fresh and served hot Pizza and pasta dishes are lovely. Various ice cream dishes that are great. Left with a "food baby".

Food was fantastic, service was spot on. Staff were polite and food came out quickly. Chicken wings were the best, nice and soft. But……the music was too loud and they kept playing Zumba music. Couldn’t hear our order and couldn’t have a conversation across the table.

It's probably the best Italian restaurant in the UK.. as far as I've encountered. I hope they open a few franchise restaurants in England as well .. Birmingham area

Ten of us had a meal before going to the theatre. Great service, food was good and atmosphere was great. What a bargain with the half price food offer!!

Absolutely terrible. Calamari was like rubber. Had to send back my Carbonara as it had a weird metallic taste. They did offer me an alternative and I ordered a plain tomato pasta, it was also disgusting and could barely eat any of it. Staff did know this, no discount or meal taken off the bill. Quick enough to take their “service charge” though. Not worth the £81

Great menu possibly too many dishes. Focaccia starter with parma ham and mozzarella outstanding. Main pasta dishes full of flavour. Not offered cheese for pasta, bit surprising. Staff very friendly and responsive. Have spread booked next visit.

Disappointed with this restaurant. Myself and my partner have dinner in the Dunfermline retail park regularly and had never tried Toni macaroni so decided to give it a try, Issues were as follows: -Managers friends came in shouting across the restaurant causing a scene. Music was obnoxiously loud, so sat in silence instead of trying to overpower the noise, as did other couples around us. Plates were not cleared and fresh cutlery was not given between courses, so had old plates cluttering the table. Time waiting on the food was longer than I would have liked, manager said he was short staffed. They also mid meal, started adjusting the lights, I could not see my food and then put it back to the brightness it was at before, Just a bit strange mid meal. They Packed one side of the restaurant as well instead of spreading people about a bit. Men’s Toilet floors were ‘Sticky’ and room needed attention. Went to pay and took off the service charge because of the bad experience we had and got questioned why, and they guy seemed annoyed at us and then proceeded to take the full bill off my card, instead of sorting the cheque, at this point my partner stepped in and asked for a refund for the unauthorised money he took, to which he gave back thankfully. Only saving grace was the pizza was good, but Rest of the meal was not up to scratch, and this is not enough to overcome the bad atmosphere and service, Won’t be returning or recommending! . Just not what you expect, Worse Dining Service Experience to date!

Delivery time was good but the food wasn’t unfortunately. The Mac and cheese was so bland and didn’t taste nice and the carbonara was drenched in oil. I did phone up the restaurant to see if they could sort this problem out but they just hanged up after saying they would speak to the manager and didn’t call us back. Not impressed waste of money for food we ain’t eating. Will never order again.

Mediocre at best. Chicken wing starter was nice but the main courses were awful. All I could taste from my crunchy under cooked risotto was garlic. Far too much garlic. Awful. Staff worked very hard though and restaurant was busy.

The service was very quick and we were given plenty time to eat our meal. The food was great with plenty of meat and seafood in the pasta dishes we ordered. The deserts were huge and well worth the money. It wasn't very busy but it is the 9th of the February so people aren't exactly well off this month.

Everything was totally fine except the carbonara which is way too garlicky and greasy - made me feel nauseous. Tried some of my parents pizza and that was good though so go for that 👍

If I could give it a -5 I would . The food was so mediocre, and adding that our batter that was on our food was very undercooked so we only ate what was inside . We then went to the “so called manager” and said very politely that our batter was undercooked . Apart from the fact he was so not interested in what we had to say and kept putting money in the till and ignoring us . He then got up stormed over to where we had been sitting and came back. His attitude and unprofessionalism is absolutely appalling . We also had been waiting for a waitress to appear and she didn’t. We wanted our bill to get out and leave . The waitress appears out of no where and asked the ”manager” what was wrong she then storms off herself and checks our plates and comes back holding one . “See you ate all of it” the attitude and entitlement was horrific I have never been treated like that In my life ! I then said yes we ate was inside as you can see the batters there as it’s RAW!! She huffs and puffs matters under her breath to the “manager” and the “manager” says “well the best I can do is 20%” this is not my intention I was making the staff aware so someone doesn’t get sick! But that fell on deaf ears. And I really hope no one does get sick from that place ! An absolute waste of a place and I hope someone steps in and runs it better very soon! I am absolutely disgusted at the way we have been treated and I will advise everyone I know to stay away from that place.I will never be back absolutely disgusting!

Not been here for a while and I have to say it was excellent. Food,service and surroundings were second to none. It appears to have different staff from the last time I was there and they were exceptional. Great value for money and a lovely atmosphere- would absolutely recommend

I was here for a family reunion meal. 10 of us, service was good by all the waitresses and generally ok apart from a bit of rudeness from a male member of staff. the food is what u expect, mostly frozen reheated stuff ... the massive pit fall was asking to split the bill 2 ways and being treated like scum. the male, whom we assumed was the manager, stormed over when we had asked a female member of staff and barked at us that it's not possible for parties of more than 6 and stormed away. we were all obviously taken aback and tried to politely tell him that half the party had cash, the others were going to use just 1 card to pay, therefore only splitting in half. nope. just held up the menu and pointed "no it's here, see." we can only assume this was some sort of supervisor or manager but he has little to no customer service skills and left a bitter taste in all our mouths. lastly those paying cash had jointly added a sizable tip on top of what was already added, as is expected, to the bill with it being a large party. unfortunately due to this particular staff member this was not given.

Have eaten here before so thought I knew what to expect. Unfortunately the service was poor, staff inattentive and service very slow. Food bland, toppings missing off pizzas. Not one of our 12 guests said the food was other than average. One member of staff, gentleman with shaved head and facial hair was almost to the point of being rude. Certainly wasn't interested in his customers and felt we were burdening him by even being in the restaurant.

Tony M is back on form, with good food and generous portions. Our waiter could not have been more pleasant and there were no undue delays despite the restaurant being very busy.

Visited for birthday requested a booth seat at window when booking, were given tiny seat felt claustrophobic! This was when I said only three people coming other two couldn’t make it. Next thing two small children and one adult in the booth seat we requested. Ordered half rack of ribs, never seen such a small portion of ribs ever, terrible, had to order another portion which was small too, otherwise would go home hungry, charged £19.90, asked for bill reduction didn’t happen.

It was very quiet. I requested a specific table. I didn't explain that my granddaughter has autism and needs a seat away from others, but we were accommodated accordingly. Our order was taken very quickly. Our drink and food also came quickly. The service was extremely good.

Food took an hour and a half to come and had to be heated in the microwave because it was lukewarm. Won’t be ordering a delivery from them again.

Lovely cosy restaurant! Went there with my parents and was not disappointed. The portions were amazingly big. My mum had the penne Contadina, and she really loved it.My dad likes spicy, so he had the Polo Inferno with spicy potatoes (he had to put it in a takeaway box cause he couldn't finish it, but he didn't want to leave it) you pay once you eat twice I like to say haha. I had the Polo Cizare, and it was divine. My son is a picky eater, but he finished the pizza saying it was the best pizza he ever had. Service was fast , and the Manageress Gabby was so nice and welcoming. Compliments to the chefs and the front house staff. This is the best restaurant in Dunfermline.

One of the orders of spaghetti carbonara had no ham in it, and the pollo chicken was way too garlicky. Disappointing

5th time in a row orders arrived without the sauces ruining the starters. Seems like the dunfermline store don’t really care they are managing it into the ground they get by on the name and good service of restaraunts out with Fife in my opinion I can’t have been unlucky enough to miss the sauce on 5 occasions it must be happening to others it’s just complete incompetence

Food was better than expected. Pizza is much better than pasta. The servers we interacted with were all nice. The service could have been better. Nobody came back so I could order more drinks. Had to ask 3 times for the bill. I would try again.

Ordered a salmon dish. Music was loud so server didn't hear order correctly. They then asked me to just take the order with a bowl of leeks. Dish was completely different. I asked them to redo the order correctly but they asked to provide chips. Manager also refused to to correct after repeated request for the correct dish. Terrible service.

Risotto was bland with a very poor quality of chicken. Last time I order from Tony macaroni.

Ordered main meal, came out quick. So ordered dessert, waited and waited and waited and still no dessert. I asked the waitress and seems the order went missing. Well done Tony Macaroni the last time was my drink order this time was my dessert. Well I will not be back for the third time.

9th Dec Christnas menu Starters were good Arancini and butternut squash soup partner had fillet steak which was also good The disappointment was my hake wrapped in bacon with rosemary sauce (Nasello in Camicia de Pancetta e Rosemarino) 3 small pieces of hake - think wee willie winkie size- wrapped in a salty bacon on a bed of pea sized cubed fried potatoes and a very light rosemary sauce. basically it was a plate of mini cubed chips with a litle salad and 3 half sized fish fingers wrapped in bacon wih a roemary dressing. the hake was cooked well but the bacon was so overpowering that it completely killed any fish taste and the roesmary was so light that it might have not been there. I can forgive a poor dish and have been at Tony Macs many times previously and had no complaints so lets move on eh? No! What was unvorgiveable and why I WILL NEVER BE BACK - IS THE IMPOSED SERVICE CHARGE! I always tip. My choice NOT YOURS. If you include gratuities as a means to supplement wages I will not patronise your business.
