Tony Macaroni in Fife

Menu dreadful. Changed chicken breast coated in pesto batter to chicken thigh soaked in milk all night- to soften it as tough no doubt. Who wants chicken thigh when going out for a nice meal, certainly not me! Apparently to make life easier for the chef, so what about the customers! Portion size terrible, charged £20 for a pile of rice bit of lettuce and 6 prawns, miserly with chips, hardly got any. Absolutely dreadful and we won’t be back! Has drastically gone downhill!

This service in this restaurant is appalling. We booked this for my dad's 70th as that's where he wanted to go. I dropped off balloons and a banner 2 hours before the meal and I asked what table we'd be at. The waiter pointed to one of the long ones with the glass panel so I asked if the banner could go there to which I was told yes. I turned up around 15 minutes before the table was booked to then be given a different table as they got a table of 16 people booking. We were given a table for 6 even though there was 7 of us and they put a chair at the end, absolutely not acceptable. I then had to put the banner up myself, by this point my parents arrived which took away from the nice surprise I wanted. The waiter then came to take our order when we hadn't even been given menus!! I used to love going to this restaurant but never again. It's went downhill so much and the staff just don't care

The pizza was tiny and burnt. Usually my orders from here are great so I was very disappointed

Stellar food, excellent delivery driver who was working in torrential rain, poor guy! Excellent flavour, portions and delivery time. Such a comfort choice, highly recommend!

Food never arrived. Delivery driver absolutely USELESS and unable to navigate a simple street. Can’t buy common sense.

We had the most amazing time! We visit this place frequently and every time it has been fast service, lovely atmosphere, great food and amazing service! One waiter that stands out is Pedro, he has always been exceptionally lovely and took his time to get to know us. Absolutely recommend going!!

The food is lovely especially the desserts, but the stand out star was by far our amazing server Pedro. Will absolutely be back, some of the best service I've ever had.

It was fairly quiet especially for a Friday night so lacked a bit of atmosphere. It was also a bit on the cold side- not freezing but turning the heating up a wee bit would have been nice. Food was average, nothing more and certainly wouldn’t be worth rushing back for. Staff were attentive enough. Thought it a bit cheeky adding on the tip without option to agree to this, especially as it hadn’t been a particularly great experience

We visit here quite a bit. Great pizza and really friendly staff. The ice cream sundae’s are huge, but that didn’t stop my daughter though.

Croquettes as a starter absolutely brilliant, the fillet of sea bass for my main with some clams and mussels was outstanding. Definitely be back. Hats off to pedro brilliant waiter brilliant guy

Ordered Lasagne - almost inedible!" Basically tomato puree with very little meat that was very finely ground - zero texture. Very little lasagne. Uneven temperature - cold in parts. Having had delicious lasagne at TM in the past my friend and I were very disappointed. Unlikely to return. Very few customers in the restaurant contributed to the lack of atmosphere - 1.30pm on a Thursday. Expressed our disappointment to the waitress who shared the info with Snr staff member but he didn't comment when he approached our table.

Was in today food was great but difficult to enjoy when you are in an fridge like environment... most people were dining with their jackets on... I know COVID has hit everyone hard but don’t cut the heating to recuperate the cash flow ‘warmth is vital’ 🥶💷

I must admit I am not a fan of chain restaurants but friend wanted to go after a pantomime. This was my second visit, the first being some time ago. The place was very busy on a Friday night. Can't fault the service and to be fair the food was good and the portions big. I had a seafood pasta and my wife had a rissoto which she could not finish. My grandson polished off a mac and cheese which is his favourite. All in all a very pleasant evening. Bill was £50 but seafood is expensive. Would I go back. Yes but not for a special occasion.

Food was average. Mac cheese not as descibed. Pizza was ok. Calmari rings were too oily. Waitress was not fast enough. Not been offered to refill drink. Full of small loud children. I don't leave reviews often but overall was dispointed. Service charge was included in bill - you should not get a tip if service is bad and slow.

Awful. 2 calzone pizze were 80% dough 20% filling served with limp serving of rocket. Lasagne sauce was like tomato puree. Unedible. Don't go there vfor authentic Italian experience!👎👎👎👎👎

The order never arrived. Called the restaurant to be told the order had gone out and been delivered - they made no attempt to follow up to understand where the order had actually gone.

Delayed 3 times after waiting over an hour and a half all food was stone cold and chewy i had to spit it out

waited at least an hour and a half, foods lukewarm at best. still tastes good tho.

Terrible service with our order having never been delivered. We called after 1.5hrs and were given nothing but excuses and no one was willing to take responsibility. We ended up ordering again from Papa Johns and our delivery was received from there no problems as all. Such a shame as we used to be fans of Tony Macs but we won’t be ordering or visiting again after having been let down too many times.

Well that’ll teach me to read reviews first! Chips are literally brick hard, cold and greasy. Garlic bread was like cardboard and frozen. Wasn’t even delivered in an insulated bag. Restaurant should be embarrassed to put food like this out. Avoid.

Been here a few times and have to say it’s the best Tony Macaroni! The service is amazing, the staff are so lovely and the food is always 10/10. The restaurant itself is so nice, cosy and clean, and is mine and my fiancé’s go to place for dinner in Dunfermline

Very very poor service! My order arrived nearly two hours later. Phoned the restaurant and was told my food had been sitting waiting to be picked up by driver for over an hour.Food arrived cold and inedible. I don’t know how u could let food leave the building like that unacceptable

We enjoyed our lunch, food was great, large portions. Tried a pizza and was impressed. Would for sure go back for food. Service could be slightly better. It was not overly busy and we did find there was a bit of time left checking on us and nobody asked if we wanted more drinks. But you know what, that’s minor and won’t stop us returning

Worst meal at an Italian EVER !!!! Wasn’t busy when we arrived for a table for 2 …. Seated quickly and drink order done … hubby had a pint I had a Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri well wasn’t frozen when it came but tasted Ok .. hubby ordered Chicken Strips and garlic dip for starter and Lasagne for main, I had Carne Arancini and King Prawn Gamabarini Linguine. Starters came fairly quickly but hubbies Strips were in a green looking batter hard as anything and the dip tasted off, my Arancini had very little rice and NO meat just cheese. When they took away the starter they never asked if everything was ok as hubby left most of his Strips. Lasagne was meat sauce one strip of pasta and melted cheese on top, I knew the Linguine would be a little spicy but holy hell must have been all chilli very little pasta sauce with 4 Prawns it was so hot I couldn’t eat it. Ok they took the price of my main off bill but wouldn’t recommend this place at all !!!! On getting back to hotel hubby was violently sick, I was up all night with an upset stomach. Avoid at all costs

The food came out fast and was good with large portions. Never hard to get a table and good for a quick budget lunch option.

Went here for lunch and was served by a very polite young man called Myles. Can’t fault him at all. Quick to serving us our food and was very tasty!

First time using app so when delivery driver asked for 4 digit code had no idea about and initially could onle locate order number. Food was good but pizza and chips were cold on arrival. Pasta temperature was fine.

A family four 07/09/24. When we arrived the place was very busy, we were shown to a table ordered drinks which arrived quickly. With food ordered we waited around 20mins and my food arrived, expecting the rest of the food for the table to arrive shortly. No a further 15min and having to ask where the rest of the order was. It did arrive soon after but the over all experience of the place had quickly went downhill. Usually a restaurant serves all the food at once to a table at the same time.

Wow absolutely disgusting!! Macaroni was pasta with like a block of cheese just chucked in with it. And the chips were hard and dark brown - early changing the oil is too expensive for them! Never again

One of the tastiest Italian meals I've had recently. Extensive menu at reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Food was ok staff seemed rushed about manager was serving mainly all food dudes just come here and there should be where food made for each group not one here and there for one and another table basket which contained garlic bread was damaged better off in the bin

Ordered cheesy garlic bread. Turned up hard burnt sliced every day bread no cheese and in a heap in a box. Was awful i wouldnt of fed that to my dog never mind send that out my kitchen to a paying customer.

lasagne disgusting. clumps of meatballs. pasta is not in layers and no white sauce between layers as would be expected. it's a waste of money

An Italian restaurant with several branches in Scotland. The menu is varied. I have tried most of it now. We have been to it more than four times. Excellent.

This is the place to go if you want, good food, great hospitality and a classy atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough for us and even though they were busy the wait for drinks and food was as you would expect for a quiet night.

We met here for a family (6) get-to-gether on the 23rd July and were absolutely delighted with the food and the friendly, polite waitresses. It was a joy and delight to be there for a special meal. Full marks to the staff.

Well where does one start all was good ordered food and non alcoholic drinks ie soda water . Then starter of calamari arrived which was OK I suppose. Brake Brothers must of changed recipe . Garlic bread was like slices from a half loaf with flora margarine with garlic and parsley rationed. As for main course I ordered a chicken with spinach and mushroom in a cream sauce which wouldve been nice if there was more sauce less oil . My friends cajun chicken pasta was oven baked looked good however only cajun was in name of dish and very few bits of chicken but did make up for it with large lumps of some sort of stringy cheese but hey ho rant over please people think once not twice just say no . As for the 2 gentlemen who I take it are supposed to be the restaurant managers . It looked like a case of Zero #@%#s given which gives this place no hope of going forward .

Brilliant waitress. But ordered a dairy free pizza for child with allergy. Arrived looking like real cheese. Questioned this. Was informed once checked with kitchen it was infact real cheese. And they made another. Had i not asked , the bairn would of been in a pretty bad way. Paid bill without question and left goven the lack of Fs given by the manager who sat on his A the whole time watching and not trying to apologise for the error Too many times ive not liked this place. I only come when i get roped into it. Not going again. Done , theres other pkaces in the leisure park with better food at a similar if not cheaper price.

Absolutely brilliant breakfast here last Sunday

Dropped in for a quick tea. Busy and not enough waiters to look after guests, as usual! No-one came to see if food was ok Risotto was bland stodgy very few mushrooms and no taste. I was really looking forward to it, as it was one of my favourite dishes. Not a great choice on Presto menu for Vegetarians. Told the waiter when I paid , seemed surprised and lamely said sorry. Won't be back!

Dropped in for a quick meal around 5.45pm. Not enough staff to serve and spend time with customers. Fuoka pizza was nice ,but mushroom risotto was stodgy and bland and had no taste. The risotto used to be delicious. , was so disappointed! 10% service charge added without being told, not much service given. Don't think we will be back!

the amount of oil in the pasta was too much too the point it was too sickly

me and my friend absolutely love the pizzas that tony macs does, but unfortunately the service is always rather slow. the staff is friendly and helpful, but the wait for our bill at the end of the meal is terrible. we find this only happens at this branch so we try to go to other ones. but as long as you're not in a rush I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was ok. Mine was a bit oily, son loved the ribs. Food could be better in my opinion. No one really really enjoyed their meal except one with the ribs.

Visited Dunfermline establishment early May and was quite disappointed with both meal and service on offer. Wrote directly on Website to offer Feedback rather than a Review site, thinking it would offer them a chance to respond. We’re now at the end of May and despite contacting them 4 times, have yet to receive any communication from them. Obviously Customer Satisfaction is quite low on their priorities? Perhaps Tony Macaroni should remember, there are very many alternatives around for eating out. That’s the second time I think I’ll eat there. The First and Last.

Tony Mac’s was one of my favourite restaurants before this meal. I got a classic margarita pizza and spaghetti & meatball, and both had such poor quality. Genuinely upset I spent my hard earnings on this. Is a refund possible?? Maybe ingredients have changed to save money?? Really upsetting 😭 I didn’t even eat the spaghetti.

Just turned up for lunch with the husband in tow. Seated quickly to a booth, drinks order and food taken, both had burgers, mine was chicken, his beef and both really good, first lattes were extra hot which i like, 2nd ones not so much. Seats were comfy, place was warm inside but outside needs tidied up at entrance. Wouldn't say its a must go to place but is deffo worth a visit now n again.

Food is decent but meal was constantly being interrupted but two waitresses, we were asked four times in the space of 15 minutes if our food was fine. Quite annoying

We dropped in here for a bite to eat after visiting Dobbies across the road. We ordered burgers and to follow up sticky toffee pudding and ice cream from their special deal menu. Which worked out a bit cheaper than ordering from the main menu. You got the choice of 1, 2 or three courses. Our drinks were lattes which tasted nice but could of been a bit warmer. The food came out soon after, which tasted great, no complaints about any of it and it was large portions. The server's were polite, prompt, well presented and everytime they came to the table asked how we were liking our meal. Very nice experience.

Didnt make a reservation, just walked in and Max was very happy to seat us, Gabby took our orders (without writing it down)we had 3 courses and it was all lovely. Quick service, not too quick as the food was quality. Only Max and Gabby looking after around 22 tables and they worked well with a smile on their face. Never stopped whilst we were there (almost 2 hours) will definitely be back 😊
