Giovanni's Italian Kitchen in South Lanarkshire

Was in last night and the waitress was great and very attentive! Lovely restaurant inside, food was nice, pasta was really over cooked (my fault for not asking for al dente). Would recommend to friends.

Very disappointing experience when we had our Christmas lunch there on 14/12. Mix up with the booking, tasteless food (prawn cocktail was simply a handful of shredded salad from a packet with 4 medium sized prawns, a bit of pink cocktail sauce out of a bottle and a slice of lemon), untrained waiters who didn't know what "on ice" or "on the rocks" means, and our party needing to vacate the table because it was needed (of which we were not advised beforehand as we wouldn't even have considered booking under that condition) We were asked to move to the bar area which didn't have enough seats available for all of us. All in all an experience we will not repeat in a hurry. Seems the place has gone downhill after change of ownership. Disappointing.

This is a lovely restaurant with great food & great service. I hadn’t been before, but I would certainly recommend it

This night's restaurant outing was so bad I am honestly still wondering if it was a bad dream or whether I had some kind of hallucination, as surely is couldn't possibly be nearly as bad as I remembered. I booked a December night out (to celebrate my birthday) way back in August, and had to leave a deposit of £10 per person. (leaving deposits is a new feature under the new owners). Upon arriving at the restaurant at 19:25 for a 19:30 reservation, we were advised that the table was not yet ready. I looked around the restaurant, and I could not actually see any space whatsoever that could accommodate my party of 6 people. We were asked to wait in the bar area while our table was prepared. So we were shown to the bar area which was littered right along the bar and on every table with dirty used glasses. We were not given a drinks list/menu nor a food menu, but we were simply left in the bar to fend for ourselves. We sat there for almost 30 minutes before one of our party approached the barman to ask if it was table service in the bar or if we had to order at the bar. The barman (worryingly) said that the other barman had quit that night unexpectedly, so he was struggling and therefore we would be 4th on his current list of orders. We left an order with the bartender and we waited...and waited...and waited...and waited...and waited....but no drinks ever appeared. If I had not already forked out £10 deposit per person, my entire party would have HAPPILY walked out the restaurant by this point. Finally (one hour after entering the restaurant), we were shown to our table. However our drinks were STILL not available, this took another 15 minutes, at which point the waitress said that the wine we originally ordered (prosecco) was not available as they had a very depleted wine list , and indeed she said the wine list we were given was useless as they only actually had 4 bottles of white wine left in the entire restaurant. We ordered one of the available bottles (sauvignon blanc......oh my god it was awful...we couldn't actually finish a glass each it was so bad, and indeed we left it on the table.). The waitress finally (after almost 90 minutes upon entering the restaurant) took our food orders. The food finally arrived on the table sporadically (the garlic bread appeared with the main course and not the starter). The bruschetta was woeful and was simply oily garlic bread (like from a supermarket) with tomato topping. The spicy garlic prawns were simply frozen large prawns (not king prawns or tiger prawns) served in a horribly inedible oily chilli sauce. One of my party received their mussels, and noted worryingly that most of the mussels were were still closed (which showed they were actually dead mussels and should not be eaten, so they should never have been served to customers). The Lasagne was pre-prepared and was then microwaved when ordered (I personally witnessed them removing the lasagne from the fridge, cutting a slice of it and microwaving it). The Pollo Milanese was very dry and was served with tasteless tagliatelle pasta in very tasteless red sauce. The PIZZAs were actually very good and couldn't be faulted. I ordered the steak on the menu (rib eye with chips & peppercorn sauce), but when it was brought to my table I was given a flat-iron steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I said that the order was not correct and the waitress said the chips and peppercorn sauce would be a few minutes........then I was brought chips and a red wine sauce and not peppercorn......do they actually know the difference? For most of us at the table the food actually wasn't that bad, but the service and the time taken in the restaurant leading up to getting the food was so bad it tarnished the enjoyment of the food, we all just wanted to leave. Finally, and adding the final insult.....the bill had been reduced by the deposit I had been asked to pay, but when I went to pay the bill it was was not reduced, so I refused to pay until this was corrected. the waitress fixed this, and I paid (grudgingly) and left...what was possibly the worst experience of service I have ever had in any restaurant ever. Based on how limited the food menu was and how EXTREMELEY limited the wine list was, and that some of the staff had quit with no notice, I have a feeling that this restaurant is suffering financial issues, and will may close its doors some time very soon due to lacks of liquid funds.

Really poor on Saturday night. Apparently a senior manager uped and left in the middle of the early evening rush which put a lot of stress/ strain on the remaining staff. It took 75 minutes from when we arrived at the restaurant to receive our starters. A big thank you must go to Morgan who did a tremendous job in appeasing the customers who were waiting so long for their orders ( this included being served drinks). We all expect a bit of a wait during the Christmas period due to the increase of business but the restaurant would have known their booking levels and should have increased their staffing accordingly, rather than run the risk of getting negative feedback when bad service prevails. The food wasn't great either. The lasagne was dried out in the middle and the chicken dish was also a bit on the dry side. Overall, the experience wasn't great and put a damper on the evening.

We have eaten at Giovanni's a number of times and find the place a hit or miss experience. Mid October we decided that we (a group of friends) will have our yearly Christmas lunch at Giovanni's. I made the effort to make the reservation in person to avoid any issues/misunderstandings that might occur during a phone call. So, all was booked for 13.15 hrs on 14/12, or so I thought .You can imagine my surprise when on the 12/11 (November!) I received a systems generated email to either confirm or cancel my reservation for the 14/11! I didn't want to cancel the reservation (even though it was scheduled for the wrong month) as I had paid an £80.00 deposit and wasn't sure if they could accommodate us on the day I had actually asked for. I went online, checked their opening hours, and walked to the restaurant to clarify the date for which the table was needed. The website advised that the restaurant was open. When I arrived at the restaurant it was all dark. Only a cleaner was going about his business. I left word with him to ask the staff to give me a call. When I received a call the next day the lady was surprised as according to her system the table was booked for the 14/12 and she couldn't understand why I was informed otherwise...... Strangely, I received another system generated email a day later advising me that "my booking was now amended". When we arrived for our lunch today, both, the service and the food, left a lot to be desired. One person in our party ordered a "Prosecco on Ice". As it might be unusual for some, it was explained to our server to just put a few ice cubes in a wine glass and then add the Prosecco. When it came (3 people were sharing a bottle of Prosecco) we received 2 Prosecco glasses, and one large cocktail glass full of ice cubes ...... No glass for the 3rd person sharing the bottle. The prawn cocktails were truly awful and tasteless. Someone virtually opened a packet of shredded iceberg lettuce, chucked it in the glass, added 4 middle sized prawns and a bland pinkish cocktail sauce, topped with a slice of lemon. No bread was offered with it. We all had different main courses but the general consent of 7 people (bar 1) was that the food was bland and tasteless. One of our party ordered a gluten free pizza with double Nduja and extra fresh chillies. When it arrived it had 5 pieces of Nduja and no fresh chillies. It was sent back and when it was returned to the table there was more Nduja and some chillies on it. It must just have been shuffled back into the oven as it was so soggy that the middle more or less disintegrated when you tried to cut it. To top our brilliant dining experience we were at one point asked to take our drinks and move to the bar area (which didn't have enough seats to accommodate all of us) as the table was needed again. If we would have known that we would need to vacate the table we wouldn't have booked it in the first place. So all in all not a very positive experience, definitely one that we don't want to repeat any time soon. This place could be great but nobody seems to be fussed with taking care of the details or going the extra mile. Simply disappointing.

If you go to an Italian restaurant you would always expect them to have lasagna available, sadly not😒. What I did have was very bland and tasteless.

Went here before the panto on a Friday evening, wasn't too busy. 4 adults and 2 kids of age 6. Service was slow and we ended up later for the panto (went in at 5, had 2 courses and didn't get out until 7). Food was ok, some starters a bit tasteless and the lasagne was cold. Cost £140 and they didn't take the £50 deposit off so we had to call to have it refunded. Could be better.

We stopped by on our way down the road from Glasgow on the off chance they could take a table of two. The service was close to perfect, they were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We had bruschetta & mozzarella fritters to start which came very quickly then margherita pizza and the feather blade of beef. Both were amazing. The beef was to die for! Would defo recommend and will certainly make a point of returning next time we are near.

Very disappointing experience . Went at 7.30pm on a Saturday night and it took almost an hour to be served our main course (no starters were ordered) . After waiting so long 2 of the meals (out of 4) were cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. I could see into the kitchen where they tried to heat it up in a pan but it eventually ended up in the microwave. I was also conned into buying a bottle of wine as I had already had one glass and the waiter said that if I expected to have another 2 I would be best to buy a bottle. I was expecting therefore that they would deduct the glass I had already had but no, when the bill came I was charged for a glass and a bottle. Yes I did take the remainder of my wine home but felt that this was an upsell that wasn't needed. Also there was no recourse made to the bill after our issues . Won't be back.

Lovely venue, food was good but the service was very poor. Waited 45 minutes for the starters to arrive, one of which we sent back because the meatballs were cold, although the sauce was warm. Go figure. The bread to accompany my soup turned up when I was halfway through it. That was when I was asked if I wanted Parmesan and or black pepper. The main meals were delayed because of time it took for the returned starter to reappear even though we told them to forget it. When the mains did arrive the table had yet to be cleared of used glasses and empty bottles, and again, all the mains did not all arrive at the same time. When the bill was presented we did complain and the did reduce the amount, but we all agreed that we’d happily have paid in full for better service. Felt really sorry for the waitress who apologised profusely. The place wasn’t even very busy. First time visit, won’t be back.

Firtsly , we have visited and enjoyed Giovanni's in Hamilton many times We recommended it to my family and booked dinner there at 6pm last night (25th October) for a family get together. My wife & I arrived around 5.45pm and decided to have a drink in the bar area until our family arrived . We sat in the bar , the young lady behind the bar was busy serving drinks and meals in the restaurant, so no drinks were available . My family arrived and we were shown to our table for 9 people , we must have sat there at least 25 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted a drink , the menus were placed at our table but still no drinks ! Eventually we were asked what food we wanted , then we were then eventually served a drink ! My wife & I ordered the Cod meal from the menu , the potatoes served with the cod were hard, and absolutely revolting, my cousins wife ordered a steak and asked for it well done , when her steak came it was rear, with blood oozing out when she cut it ....the steak was sent back and she must have waited at least 20 minutes for a properly cooked steak to be returned to her ! Everyone of my family were very disappointed in the service and also in the meal. There seemed to be only two people serving meals , one young girl , who also served the bar and an older man .......they need more staff and a better cook ....we have enjoyed Giovanni's many time in the past , I don't know what's happened , our taxi driver told us its changed owners! Im afraid it will be a while before were back to Giovanni's

Return visit. Excellent value for money - good sized portions and ingredients of a good quality. Friendly staff, nothing too much bother for them. Best Italian Restaurant in the area.

Food portions were too small, food slightly cold, staff not attentive enough and pasta dishes were too dry. Have had better at other mirati restaurants. Wouldn’t hurry back.

Enjoyed the food , pleasant staff, young girl, and an Italian host, small hiccup with my order , nothing major, however after spending over £90 on a early evening out, I don't appreciate being asked more or less to hurry up out as the place is going to be busy, I like to leave a restaurant on my own accord, maybe let our meal settle and have a couple more drinks. It was rather discourteous by the Italian host ,.

Morgan (the waitress) really makes this one of the most welcoming restaurants. The food is really nice - try the crispy gnocchi!

We have eaten here a number of times. The food is usually quite good. This time it was a failure across the board. It was about 15 min. before being waited on. The order was simple, a small pizza. It was over an hour before it came and that was after stopping a waitress and asking about our order. Some five minutes later it came. It had cooled enough that the cheese was rubbery and grease had jelled on the surface. Together with the shabby dining area and lack of air conditioning, we are most likely not going back. They are understaffed. The kitchen is slow to prepare meals. (we saw most customers having to wait very long times. While it was Sunday, and that may cause problems for staffing, it should not be this bad. I would have expected to have the meal for free after this kind of service, with an apology. Did not happen. In addition, their web sight is very misleading.

Lovely Italian based in Hamilton, my wife and I went for date night. Service was excellent, good price and the food was lovely. I'd recommend it.

I've been here before a few times with my husband and i actually can not believe i haven't left a review previously. The restaurant is beautiful, amazing relaxing decor, a lovely bar to have drinks. Great music in the background. But the staff are what makes the experience that bit different. They are welcoming, friendly and just lovely people. Yesterday we came with my step son and his partner for birthday meal. They eat italian all the time back in England and basically said it is the best meal they have ever had. Outstanding. My husband and i love the food. I had this time pate to start, spicy salame pizza, tiramisu. Delicious. The 3 course menu at 19.95 is amazing price for such amaxing food. Fully recommend x

Food was nice, great value too. Was kinda quiet for a Sunday night, but it's a bank holiday so might be the reason. Unfortunately I had to knock the service down. A few times our order was totally messed up. My daughter and my drink order wasn't right. My son's main came out 15 mins after everyone else's. I'd go again, as the food was decent and good value and I'm of the opinion that the mistakes were not a real representation of the place.

By far the best real Italian resteraunt for miles, welcoming from rhe moment you enter the door and first class service, which seems to a lost skill in many other resteraunts, the chef even made my favourite italian dish which was not on the menu. Give this place a try I guarantee you wont be dissapounted.

Staff were courteous but were slow to take orders and clear table, resulting in an delay between courses. The Restuarant was not full, so no obvious reason for the longer than average time wait between courses. Menus was a bit non adventurous, and no special boards. Although kids menu was more than adequate. When the food did arrive it was well presented more than ample and everyone enjoyed their choices. If the Restuarant is to attract its market, attention to quicker turnround of food.....we did not expect fast food service, but 30/40 minutes between courses is not good for business when it is obvious diners had finished course. Would willingly return if service and menu improved.

Great service last night as I and a friend met up for a well needed catch up and was a half way house between our locations. Food was great as was the service. The cheesy garlic bread was excellent as was the Calabrese Pizza. Will absolutely return. Great value too!

Myself and my partner received a voucher for Giovanni's and as we had never been, we were not sure what to expect and we were over the moon with the outcome. We were warmly greeted by Morgan, who was just an absolute sweetheart, she was so cheery and nothing was too much trouble. The decor is very modern and spotless! the loos are also spotless, think Mrs Hinch had been round :) We did wonder why it was so quiet as for such a large place there were only a few tables taken but this is due to a recent change in owners. I think maybe the past owners hadn't run it as well based on old reviews but be assured this is a compete thing of the past as everything was just perfect. To start I had the breaded cheese to start which had a lovely tomato dipping sauce, my partner had meatballs which he said were very tasty. for Main I had Beef shin ragu tagliatelle and my partner had salami and pepperoni pizza, we also ordered chips and garlic bread at side (we don't go out much so went a bit carb crazy lol) The Pasta was cooked to perfection with rich ragu sauce and such tender meat throughout, the pizza was fired and was huge! The chips were a very generous portion, as was the garlic bread - we got 5 pieces as the one side! You have to try this! its so buttery and so tasty! Although we ate our body weight in carbs we left very happy and can't wait to visit again. I think they do special offers on a Tues and Thurs but maybe best check this, they also do boozy brunches and theme nights. Morgan and the chefs made this a lovely night out, thank you all x

First time trying this restaurant and it was average we got seated and waited ages before anyone came over to take a drinks order, we eventually got menus after a table handed there's back they didn't have enough for each table. The food came out quite quickly and it was tasty the best lasagna iv ate but nobody came to check on us and never asked if we wanted more drinks. we eventually asked for some water ended up asking 3 times to the same waiter and still never received any. The food is good but they definitely need an improvement on service.

Best Italian i've been to in years . Great food , great service , manager also taking time out to have a natter. Lots of space unlike some other restaurants. Well worth a visit 😁👍

My friend and I both really enjoyed our food, the prices were very reasonable and staff were very attentive. It's a beautiful space. However, it is very noisy, it's almost like voices echo, and as such, it's difficult to have a conversation in.

The restaurant and toilets were very clean - that's the only positive thing I can say. We waited ages to be served. When we did eventually get served, we waited ages for our drinks and starters. Our main course was eventually served whilst the starter plates were still on the table. Some of our party did enjoy their food, but our chicken milanese was dry and tasteless. The chicken was very chewy. We weren't offered a second round of drinks. Not once did the waitress ask if our meals were okay. Overall, the service was very poor. I was so disappointed as one member of our party was celebrating a big birthday and this was not a good experience for them. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Service was not great, under staffed. Had to ask for things several times and then gave up, asked for water and black pepper a few times, never came. Had chicken milanese, it was very dry and chewy. Served tea without cups, waiter had to go and get them. Restaurant is very tastefully decorated, nice atmosphere, just felt service and quality of food was not good. Our lovely waitress was lovely but looked stressed. Sorry would not recommend.

Was here on Friday night was greater to a empty restaurant at 6pm never a good start, sat right at the door. I dunno if all staff were new because the clearly didn’t have a clue what they were doing. The women manager stood on her phone constantly doing nothing. The guy manager just shouldn’t be anything more than a waiter because he was useless The food is awful , tasteless these chef are using the cheapest produce, king prawns were tiny It also took 15 to get a drink order at the start even know it was dead Please avoid

First visit Giovanni’s Italian kitchen a good welcome on my birthday the first order pasta and pizza superb excellent and also Italian red wine also desert fantastic takes me back Florence Italy on holiday season driving Ferrari 458 visit many places stop every 5 star hotel to rally roads experience 😎

Very attractive decor, my garlic mushroom bruschetta was gorgeous, the main course and sweet did well, I'd go back again

7 of us for dinner and not one of us enjoyed the food. The pasta was so overcooked it was all stuck together. 2 of us had chicken with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were runny and over salted! Won’t be back

Booked a table for family event the servers were really nice I had meatball starter which was really nice but my main chicken with mushroom sauce not so much chicken was really rubbery due to it being boiled chips were nice but sauce was watery My partner had pate which she said was nice but her sausage pasta was was try and tasteless My daughter had chicken goujons which were disgusting totally burnt and chicken dry My father in law had the cheese pizza it was nothing better than a supermarket pizza

We were a table of 15, (5 of which ordered chicken) 2 of the chicken dishes were still bloody. My one sister saw this pretty much immediately and sent back and ordered a different roast. My sister in law only saw that her chicken was pink on the second piece of chicken. She did not send back but did tell the waiter her chicken was also not cooked. My brother in laws lasagne on the other hand was burnt. We did complain and whilst the waiter was extremely apologetic he said we could not get anything of the bill we would need to complain. We were not looking for money off the bill but people should know that my sister in law is now sick in bed with food poisoning and it has become a very expensive meal as she now has to take the day off work. Extremely disappointed

Went for market menu lunch served between 12-4 on Saturday. We were booked for 3pm. No lasagne or ravioli available which was disappointing. Food we did have was ok. Waiting staff were accommodating. Nice decor and tidy/clean.

Having read such great reviews, I ordered a Capricciosa Pizza for £17.89 Inc a small 0.2 mile delivery charge at my Hotel. It arrived 30 mins after estimate on UBER eats because not ready. The restaurant was obviously busy on a Saturday night so no problem with delay BUT they boxed it before it was cooked! Holding up in restaurant orders perhaps? The dough was still dough, the cheese barely melted. It was possible the worst pizza I have ever had but for 5 more mins in the oven. Don't order pizza for take away or delivery on a Saturday night. I am open to the restaurant to inviting me to try their best efforts. I genuinely feel this cannot be their norm.

We have been to Giovanni’s on a few occasions over the last year and can honestly say that each time we have had a lovely meal complimented by great, friendly service. Nothing is a bother, even the extra parmesan cheese we always request! Food is always fresh and tasty, atmosphere is relaxed and drinks menu looks great too! Couldn’t recommend Giovannis enough 💯

Great atmosphere with great food. Not too expensive and is extremely modern and decorated nicely inside. One of the staff who was serving us, was super kind and informative about the food.

Service was fantastic, Rebecca and Morgan were very friendly, it was a shame the menu had changed, my husband had the burger last time we visited and it wasn’t on the new menu. My husband isn’t keen on pasta but I love it. So not sure we will rush back with this menu. Honestly can’t fault the food though, just a shame menu has changed.

Won't be ordering again spent £45 on a delivery and the carbonara tagliatelle was very oily also alot of fat on the ham, pizza was like cardboard and the bang bang sauce tasted like seafood sauce also no taste with the garlic mayo sauces, chips were nice and so was garlic bread with cheese but very disappointed as first time customer

Local customer did not review last time thought it was just a blip. There last night , floors under table dirty with food stuff and you could see sticky drink blotches - most tables. Servers ran off feet appear only 2 and the bar person. Staff couldn’t be more apologetic for the service . Waited over an hour for 2 pastas ( nothing fancy ) . Offered water - never came . Poor show this restaurant has gone down hill.

Was at your restaurant the last 2 Sundays with the family. Service was good and the food was delicious. Rebecca the waitress explained about the specials and the desserts and was very helpful. Will definately be back Good value for money.

Heard good things from friends... won't be back. 4 of us there for lunch today and we ordered one course each with some sides. When the caprese salad that was ordered arrived, it was clearly not a caprese. The menu listed a caprese is made up with tomatoes, mixed olives, buffalo mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze). What arrived included red onions but no olives. The person who ordered cannot eat red onions. This was highlighted to the waitress who looked shocked that something had been questioned and when she walked away to change the salad, rolled her eyes and made a face like a 3 year old would make when having a tantrum. It was then very clear all the staff were having a right good gossip about it through the partitioned walls with holes in them that I could see through. The correct salad arrived back without onion and olives now added on but the olives were placed on lettuce which again, was not listed as part of a caprese. The other 3 people ordered a selection of pizzas, pastas and sides. We assumed everything would arrive on the table at the same time as it was one course everyone ordered. This was maybe our fault as we should have made it clear all food was meant to come at the same time but only the salad came out. We asked if we could have the rest of the food as it was a little strange to leave one person with food and the other 3 not eating. We waited for another 10 minutes or so while a pizza, pasta a 2 sides of chips came. The waiter seemed to think everything was out but there was another pizza missing. This was highlighted and after a few minutes he came back and said it would be 30 seconds. Another 5+ minutes later it arrived after I had watched them cook it from scratch through (the partitioned walls came in very handy). It was not the waiter who told me it would be 30 seconds who served the pizza, it was the young girl who rolled her eyes. I felt bad raising this with her as it was not her fault but I said if that if something was forgotten about it would be better just to apologise and tell us it would be another 5 minutes rather than lying. She apologied and said it had already been taken off the bill (which was good of the staff to do) but I again said as much as I appreciate the gesture, I would rather someone was honest with us instead of us sitting waiting and the rest of the food going cold while we waited on the final dish which was "30 seconds away". At the end of our meal the waiter who had blatantly lied to me came back to clear the table. I explained to him again my frustrations and was hit with another load of rubbish along the lines of "I didn't know it would take this long". As a waiter, surely you apologise for the inconvenience, investigate and tell a customer the truth? He was also very confrontational and rude and was having none of what I was saying. When I said we wont be back he said "alright good" rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. The bill was brought over with the deduction of the pizza and we left. The food wasn't great either. Pasta was tasteless, pizza sauce wasnt nice and the pizzas were very thick dough with a little bit of sauce and toppings on. I think a gentle reminder from management to staff about facial expressions, mannerisms and customer service is required... The young waitress who was on drinks service was fantastic - a big thank you to her 👍👏

Table of 8 for my husbands birthday, food & service was top class. The food was delicious, I would personally recommend the roast of the day. Our server Rebecca was very attentive, polite and happy to rearrange any changes we wanted, definitely be back.

My parents have been here and thoroughly enjoy it so we thought we would book a family dinner here, table for 9 which included 1 high chair for a baby. Apparently tables over 8 have to be approved by a manager so was told someone would call me back. A week passed and no one contacted me so I called again. They apologised and went on to progress my booking only to be told the time I wanted was no longer possible due to an even bigger table having booked it. As a result I couldn’t book the table as it was the only time which suited my family and my 2 small children. Very disappointed. Can’t comment on the food or atmosphere but my parents have enjoyed it when they’ve went.

Food was great, the service was great and the ambience great. Good value for money. Will definitely be back.

Staff fab , attentive ,happy great service . Food disappointing tonight. As a regular customer the following below par . Bread basket to share , nothing special 1 looked like bake your own dinner roll , 1 seeded square roll ( maybe Asda and a few slices of garlic bread. If you are having breads with oil and balsamic would be good to have ciabatta at least , you can use pre soaked garlic bread with this. Disappointing. Main meal “ sorry no lasagne just sold last one “ 7 pm on a Friday night !!!! Pizza fabulous saved the day ,lovely base great pizza. Dessert tiramisu certainly not todays maybe not even yesterdays or the day before , stodgy the cream was hard. Other desserts ok.

This is our third visit and again we were not disappointed! The food and service was once again on point. We asked if we could have a dish that was not on the menu or on the specials;Cajun Chicken Pasta - this was not a problem and was cooked up for us by ‘Handsome Danny’ and his team, and was a 10/10! We have booked up again for another night this week as we have found our favourite Hamilton haunt. Thanks guys, see you soon.

What can I say.. this is our 3rd visit and each time has been fabulous. The staff are lovely and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The restaurant is lovely and clean and the atmosphere is good. The restaurant has been busy each time. The food is really lovely and fresh with good sized portions with good prices. They have a menu up to 6pm for 2 and 3 courses. Wee tried this on our 3rd visit and really good. We have tried the a la carte menu too, which is also good value. The cocktail bar in the back of the restaurant is an added bonus if you can’t be bothered to go anywhere else before/afterwards. The cocktails we had were hand made and not the rubbish machines or pre mix. You won’t be disappointed 😃👍🏼

After shopping for my daughters wedding dress 5 of us came for lunch . Lovely atmosphere, amazing food , excellent service and very reasonably priced we all had a lovely time . Would definitely go back if in the area

Been there's couple of times now. The food is good, the staff are great, they were able to squeeze us in after another local restaurant let us down. Mix of families, couples and groups. We got a 3 course, bottle of wine and a beer for around £100 for two, before tip. I recommend.

The standard of service is 100%, although the service itself is worthy of only 2 stars. My main course took 90 minutes from ordering. Excuses were made and a gesture of 25% off was offered. However, when we got the bill it was only off one main. Circa £3. What was the point? Can't fault the food though. 100%.

The food was delicious, my steak was perfectly cooked and 2x4oz are not always easy to do "rare to medium" . The staff were friendly, attentive but not intrusive.
