The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We randomly stumbled across this restaurant one night and we fell in love! Authentic romantic cosy place, fantastic food fresh and cooked as you like, service was really good and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Had a lovely family meal to celebrate being accepted for a new job. We went on a Monday evening which was nice and quiet. I have been previously on a Friday and it was far to loud and busy to enjoy. The food is very reasonably priced and very tasty.

Vinimos aquí para el almuerzo y nos lo pasamos de maravilla! El personal era tan servicial y atento, que no podían hacer más por nosotros. Las pizzas eran deliciosas, las mejores que hemos probado! Recomiendo encarecidamente comer aquí cuando visite Port Lympne, no te decepcionará. El entorno mirando hacia los animales era simplemente increíble!

We booked the upstairs room. 26 people. All pre-ordered a week in advance. As a retired chef that has run restaurants around the world I feel I have to draw attention to our dreadful experience of this establishment. I honestly dont know where to start. I sampled 5 different peoples pizzas sat on my table. Flaccid and flavourless with a very odd texture. Lifeless quaggy food. I have never seen so much food left on plates with such confused faces. One of the 1st pizzas to leave the kitchen was inedible. So undercooked you could barely slice it. It took a lot of convincing to have it removed from the final bill. It was awful. My Carbonara dish was dire. Whatever cheese you are using in this kitchen to flavour your dishes, please stop. The Whitebait was inedible. The Calamari rings undercooked and again flaccid. Sadly the food ordered for the "birthday boy" was a disaster. Perhaps some education on Dairy-free options will fix this. The upstairs space is lovely; light and airy with plenty of room to accommodate a large group. But, upon arrival to set up at the time booked, the place was filthy. Knowing we were coming the venue was disorganised, drinks fridges turned off, counter tops filthy. WE had to clean it up, NOT the two members of staff. Both of whom had zero training in hospitality or attention to detail. The young girl was clueless on how to correctly serve tables and follow up simple requests. The young man assigned to the upstairs room for our evening of celebration was one of the rudest I have ever seen. Calling a Mother in her 50's who booked the space "darling" well over half a dozen times even after being asked not to do it, an extremely patronising and condescending way to treat a paying female customer. This was in response to errors in both the running of our night and the final, very confusing, billing. There was zero consistancy with what we ordered and what was on the bill. I hate to be the person that writes this, it has to be really bad for me to voice my disgust but I witnessed so much love and thought go into the organisation of this important birthday celebration. Sadly the venue, the kitchen and the staff failed miserably on all levels. I hope things improve for this restaurant. As a group of 26 adults there was a lot of dissapointment. Not a night to remember.

Fantastic meal and drinks tonight,best meal we have had in a long time. We will be back again soon. 🙂

Everyone loved the food and the staff were so catering to different dietary needs. Wonderful time, lovely atmosphere and they went above any beyond

Fui aquí por un chocolate caliente y terminé comprando un Bailey’s hot chocolate, que estaba delicioso. El servicio al cliente era genial y el personal aquí era tan encantador y acogedor. Sin embargo, el gerente era un poco poco poco profesional y parecía ser muy micro - la gestión del personal.

Amazing pizza and lovely service!

Hemos estado yendo aquí desde hace unos años y siempre recibimos una cálida bienvenida. Siempre empiezo con uno de sus cócteles que suele ser un Cosmopolitan que es uno de los mejor hechos que he probado en Londres y en todo el mundo. Puedes elegir desde su menú principal o uno de sus especiales desde el tablero de especiales. Esta vez empecé con uno de mis entrantes favoritos, Mango al Granchio (mango y cangrejo blanco) y mi pareja tenía los mejillones. Para nuestra red tuvimos cordero y una lubina, seguido de un postre de helado de ron y pasas todo acompañado de uno de sus buenos vinos blancos. Te recomiendo que hagas una visita si estás en la zona.

Authentic and so delicious! Service was impressively fast and the menu offers a nice variety of choice. Lovely staff too! The tiny matron was a proper character - a little brusque but in an endearing way. All the other staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We hosted our wedding reception at Finos and it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, everything was seamless, beautifully arranged, and filled with thoughtful touches. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was exceptional, and every member of staff made us and our guests feel so welcome. If we could give a 10-star review, we absolutely would—for the service, the food, and the whole unforgettable experience. A very special thank you to Logan, who was an absolute star throughout the entire planning process. From our first conversation to the big day, Logan was endlessly helpful, kind, and attentive—truly the loveliest person I’ve ever met. It was a joy working with them, and they played such a huge role in making everything feel so smooth and stress-free. Truly felt like a friend!! To our complete surprise, we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, two stunning glass flutes to keep, a huge celebratory balloon, and the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers. It was such a kind and personal gesture that truly made us feel so special. It was a pleasure to celebrate our special day at Finos and we’ll always be grateful for the memories made there.

This is an excellent restaurant situated just off the main road on a quiet street.And could be easily missed.Beautifully prepared food and excellent service from Ella and Georgia.
