I used to eat at Ronnie's regularly, but over the last 12 months, the quality and service have declined significantly. The takeaway service is dreadful. On one occasion, our order was missing chips, and despite being promised a refund, we never received it. On another occasion, the chips were soggy and oily, and the pizza was cold. I'm extremely disappointed.

Uncooked vegetables, covered in soot which I know is cooked in wood fire but this was too much soot. Lacking sauce and cheese and very rubbery just terrible. All this after waiting for an hour in delivery.

We visited Ronnies new location for the first time last night and the food was really excellent! The pizzas were 10/10 no question, fresh ingredients, pizzas perfectly crisp and chewy. Wife really enjoyed her burger. Nice cold beers and wine too. Look forward to returning!

Amazing food, I’ve been to a lot of places all over Italy and had pizza and I think this was the best. My husband had the burger and loved it! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Average pizza, but not offensively priced.

As a regular visitor to Ronnie's old location, I was keen to try a delivery from the new venue. Never again. Pizza was cold when it arrived over 30 minutes late. None of my extra toppings I requested. Loaded fries were a joke. A tiny tray of lukewarm soggy mess. This cost me nearly £27. Rang up to complain. Was promised a refund for the extra toppings at least. This never materialised. Truly shocking.

We decided to go to hop vault last night, with one of the main reasons being you can now order Ronnie’s to your table there, we placed our order at 19:25, we waited excitingly for food, with their app saying it would be due to arrive at 19:52, time went on and we gave them a call at 20:10 so see how long it would be, at which point we were told the food hadn’t been started yet but that it wouldn’t be much longer, we then find out at 20:17 that our order had been declined via email, we phoned Ronnie's up to enquire as to why, we were told that it would take up to another hour because they were busy. We said we would be happy to wait but would expect a discount for it taking 2hrs to arrive, the staff member checked with their manager and we were told no. When speaking to the member of staff on the phone you could hear her voice shaking, we reassured her that this wasn’t her fault and insisted on speaking with a manager. By offering food at the hop vault as well as their own restaurant and delivery it is clear management have bit off more than you can chew. When we visited Cup Coffee shop to get some food, and the owner was saying how his wife had also had the same experience with a delivery that night. When speaking to the manager we expressed our concerns on how audibly stressed his staff member was, and that it’s not fair for his staff to feel like that, especially when she had told us she was new a number of times. I’m assuming the manager we spoke too was Dave from Ronnie's, but he quickly told us our service wasn’t welcome and to order our food from elsewhere in the future. Rather than taking accountability for taking on too many orders, offering services in the hop vault he can’t fulfill, and that his staff member was stressed.

Very friendly atmosphere. Nice location. Food quality is excellent, this isn’t your usual rubbish, it’s absolutely original in taste, well cooked and Stourbridge should be proud!

We had the takeaway bear box and it was superb even as a takeaway it was fresh, love these guys food! Can’t wait until I’m back in there for cheat day 🤝🏻

Ronnie's is on the first floor and is accessed by a fairly uninspiring staircase. We were looking for it and missed it on our first pass of the high street! Look out for the sandwich board on the pavement. There's nothing special about the main entrance into Ronnie's, and the main dining space is sparcely decorated. It's quite an open space, with a large open fronted pizza oven in one half and dining tables in the other. Each table has a QR code on the table number, which allows relatively simple ordering of food. However, the lack of any pictures of the food is a great shame, as it is hard to know what you're ordering. Counter service is also available. Our pizzas arrived on quirky metal trays but looked great. My daughter's 6-inch pepperoni pizza felt a good size, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a 12-inch New Yorker with small, very tasty, sweet peppers, sausage, and red onion. The flavour was great, and the crust had a fantastic balance of wood-fired smokiness, crunch, and chew. My wife really enjoyed her pizza with anchovies too. Toppings were very well balanced, which produced great flavour and enjoyment. We did also have a pot of chips to share, but these felt rather underwhelming in comparison to the pizza, and we really didn't need them. While we were there, it was very quiet, which we really appreciated, but I imagine with a few groups, the atmosphere could be quite fun. I think a few artistic photographs af the food in the stairwell and around the main space could improve the feeling of the place, and whet the appetite somewhat, but imagine there could be restrictions on what can be done in the stairwell. Considering how nice the food was, it felt like they could be shouting about it a bit more.

The delivery service was terrible, as was the customer service when I complained. Cold pizza was like cardboard. Would not recommend.

Really nice place with wood oven, the pizza was really good. A little bit of a hidden spot but there is a sign outside, all you have to do is climb up on the stairs and walk through the first foor

There was a large group sitting near us who were quite loud, this also put a lot of pressure on the girl serving so we had to wait quite a long time for our second round of drinks. But the pizza was fabulous as always

Unreal Food. First time in and won't be the last. The bear burger was incredible and the ronnies 'original' pizza was amazing. Everything is fresh and you can taste the pride and passion in the food. Cant wait for the next time. Just to add to the review. They now do Sunday dinners and the beef is out of this world.

Went there on the Wednesday to make the most of the deal! The dough balls are absolutely to die for, and so is the pizza! Local hotspot for a reason!

New venue, same awesome pizza. Food was excellent. Ordering from table via a QR code was easy enough. Food bought over by friendly staff. Quite like the new place. Relaxed open plan. Back to being able to see the oven. Good music on too. Only downside not licensed at the moment and didn't realise till we got there. I can cope without alcohol for an hour though.

Cold, too bright lights, soggy pizza base, under seasoned patty & soggy chips. Never experienced this at the old place. Very disappointing.

I collected the wrong pizza in error (sadly it was a meaty one and I’m veggie) I was gutted after looking forward to it all day…..Ronnies not only delivered me the correct pizza they also brought me a bottle of wine which was so incredibly kind!! We are lucky enough to have Ronnie’s on our doorstep and have been going since they opened their first restaurant on Stourbridge High Street. Their pizzas are made the traditional Neapolitan way and are some of the best you will find outside Italy, making use of some of the best local ingredients. Make sure you try if you are near Stourbridge.

Simply the best pizza in the midlands, if not the UK. Staff excellent and knowledgeable, food great, the only problem is deciding between pizza, burger and pasta. Recommend if in a group you order one of each and share!!!

Had heard good things about Ronnies. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great overall. I’d like to start by saying that the pizza bases are EXTREMELY good. A lovely savoury taste, just enough crisp to them and a great size… Now on to the rest of our dining experience: 3 pizzas and 2 starters, all ordered together: first pizza came out missing a topping (olives). We let the (friendly) waitress know, she apologised and I joked with my wife that the kitchen will probably just chuck some olives on top, rather than actually make the effort to slice/heat them (which would’ve been acceptable - we didn’t expect a fresh pizza cooked from scratch). Turns out I shouldn’t have joked - 4 whole olives were thrown on top and the pizza was returned to the table. The next pizza arrived within a few minutes. Base was as described above and the pizza looked fab. Unfortunately the sauce lacked flavour and the toppings were sparse, which meant it may as well have been a simple pizza, when in fact I’d ordered what I think was called a New Yorker which was supposed to be lifted by a mix of savoury meat and peppers. I think the kitchen may have forgotten our final pizza as we had to remind the waiting staff we were still waiting for it 20 minutes after the 2nd pizza landed. The salad, when it eventually arrived. was a good size and tasty. A few days later, a friend asked if we’d taken advantage of the “offer” which would have made our bill A LOT smaller. Unfortunately, it seems you need to know about it to qualify - the waiting staff didn’t suggest it and the frustration felt from missing out a little has prompted this more detailed review. The restaurant itself is a nice space to spend time. Great pizza, served well would make Ronnies a must - unfortunately, I think the team needs to get back to the basics of focusing on the customer experience and creating amazing pizza’s full of flavour.

The delivery times are an absolute joke. I understand it’s Saturday but 2+ hours is unreal. Pizza was cold, so clearly it’s been sitting around for a while.

The staff are really friendly, the food was delicious and really nice wine. Beautiful decor and pretty and clean toilets (yes I’m the person that notices the bathrooms!) We will definitely be returning!

If this review was based on the food alone, it’d be 5 star with the mention of great vegetarian and vegan options. It took too long to be offered a drink when we first sat down which is a must to feel welcome and get settled to start enjoying a visit. The waiting staff seemed over worked with an obvious lack of front of house management. 1 pizza didn’t arrive and it was simply forgotten about which made me not want to start mine until the other arrived. 1 drink was missed and incorrect when it arrived. The bill also took too long to arrive when requested. From our experience on the night, these errors were not the front of house staff, but one of overall management which dampened the experience a little.

Really great pizza. Had takeaway so can't speak for the restaurant side of things. Filling tasty pizza. They'd run out of mushrooms and it would have been nice if they'd let us know before we left the shop that they weren't on the ham and mushroom pizza. Maybe given us another option? We were going to complain but they tasted so good when we got home anyway we just couldn't muster the energy. We still had smiles on our faces! 10x better than the big name offerings!

I went in here for a drink a week or 2 ago with some pals and it was great. Staff were very friendly and despite being busy we were seated and seen to in good time. One of my favourite places to get a burger! (but the pizzas are incredible too) The staff are friendly and the new location is a beautiful building, perfect in the summer when we were able to sit outside for food!

Really disappointed tonight , when we used to visit Ronnies at the old premises they had a real passion for good food and fresh local Produce. Everything now feels like it’s being done on the cheap and the quality of the food has suffered. We were told on arrival the draught beer wasn’t working and then when ordered soft drinks that the ice machine was broken and there was no lemon to go in it. Our sides arrived 10minutes after our pizza and then we had to ask twice for cutlery. Chips were frozen as was the salami (previously we had fresh cut chips and Shropshire salami) , mayo and ketchup were cheap bookers unbranded sachets. Need to start putting a bit more love in and also training staff to be a bit more on the ball

Ate in the restaurant, food was lovely and hot and all came out together (even the gluten free was hot and came out with other meals). All food was great especially the chips. The staff were lovely and worked incredibly hard all night!

100% recommend! I ate in the restaurant a couple days ago and it was beautiful, food, drinks and service was top notch, but I must say the pizzas in particular were gorgeous!

First time visiting since move of location to larger premises. Slightly disappointed in my recent visit as restaurant was understaffed and were not prepared for us to arrive (despite us paying a deposit) and many toppings were not available. Drinks were brought out one at a time. Pizzas were tasty and fresh as expected but chips were frozen. Atmosphere of restaurant area made it feel like you were eating in an establishment geared towards its takeaway business.

I've ordered many times from Ronnie's and also visited the restaurant several times. Tonight I was disappointed (which feels 1000% worse when heavily pregnant and just want what you crave!) The burger was ok, fries weren't very cooked. Ordered garlic bread with cheese but arrived with no cheese (bit strange as they can't be short on cheese?!). Ordered Appletiser but a Pepsi turned up. Then to top it off, ordered a cookie which was burnt inside and I couldn't bite through it.
