Great atmosphere and will be definitely going back again

The food here is excellent. I had the halibut and it was perfection. The service was also of a very high quality. I will return to this restaurant over and over again.

Beautiful food and excellent service from Leo throughout! We visited for lunch and had the bruschetta to start, lasagna and penne primavera, which were all cooked beautifully. Food arrived quickly and our needs were attended to throughout lunch. Hoping to visit again for dinner soon!

Heavier items were packed on top of lighter ones so the lids collapsed and sauce from one dish ended up all over the other food and in the bottom of the bag.

We ordered meatballs as an appetisers and they were not in the order we requested a refund for this item and have heard nothing back from just eat and this was 3 days ago it seems both Michaelagelos and just eat just want to rip people off with the cost of living now to keep someone's money without giving them what was paid for is an outrage and disgusting it doesn't matter if we enjoyed the food or not we will not be ordering or eating here again!

The location of this restaurant is randomly placed away from merry hill but the food and service is fantastic. We were seated right away and ordered from the main and chef specials menu. The starters are freshly made, no frozen calamari just freshly done. The mains we perfect sizes, no need to order sides with it. We didn't have enough room to eat dessert so took a tiramisu home instead. Staff are very friendly and clear your table promptly to make space for you.

Forgot to bring beer for 15 mins - apologised Ordered t bone stk e - got rib eye - apologised Cheese board appalling 4 pieces of cheddar 2 sml slices of Brie full stop we called it a fruit board as more grapes than cheese and 1 strawberry - apologised saying should be blue cheese too but didn't bring , , loved this place always used it for sp occasions - never again after we got walked with £181 bill, never Again not even £4 glass of wine complimentary - do all in all a bad experience ! Obviously chamged management or chefs very sad was always our go to but we will swop to dan Carlos b ham we're service - quality of food is guaranteed

Not sure of our waitresses name ( she has a sister who works behind the bar) She was amazing best waitress I have ever had server me / us. Tbh she has severed us 10 times before , amazing lady. Not greated at the door ,not shown to our table, main served cold as was sent to the wrong table and then returned to the serving hatch, enjoyed the entertainment of the waiting staff having a blazing row 😀

Completely overrated, my partner had the orchid pasta filled with mushroom which was nice but very small, a large wine for £8 was like a shot we ordered the calamari starter which came in seconds and was obviously frozen as it was chewy and stringy. As I said my partner's main was nice I ordered a pizza which was the worst pizza I've ever had , the base was soggy it was dripping with grease I couldn't eat it as it was making me feel sick, luckily my girl was starving after her small meal and had a couple of slices. After reading the reviews I thought this place would be great , gutted I took my partner here for her birthday please avoid ( the waiters pretend to be Italian when they are not )

First time here. Lovely staff, food was wonderful and will be returning. I would definitely book up. It was a Saturday night we went and it was very busy.

I’m not Italian, I don’t speak and I don’t understand Italian but there’s something wholesome about being in an Italian restaurant and hearing the staff come past and speaking in Italian..the atmosphere was on point nothing tacky - just a pure authentic Italian restaurant. I haven’t even mentioned the food. For that all I will say, it’s our new date night spot. Belissimo

My family and I love going to this restaurant, whether it's lunch or an evening meal, the quality of service and food is always second to none. We went for our daughters 17th birthday meal in the evening this time. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The food, as always, was amazing. Their meatball starter was delicious, as was the salmon crayfish. For mains, we had lasagne, salmon, their signature pasta dish, and mushroom risotto, which were all very filling and gorgeous. The garlic bread and fritters were great sides, and their tiramisu and raspberry cheesecake were divine!! Absolutely perfect evening, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you, Michelangelo's!!

Visited Saturday 15/10/22 We were visiting the area for a function and needed to find somewhere nearby to eat. We were not expecting this gem of a restaurant. Excellent Service Excellent Food Friendly and Attentive staff. Great Atmosphere. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely return and would highly recommend. 21/10/23 Our second visit to ll Michelangelo Brockmoor having visiting the area the same time last year. This is one gem of a restaurant. From the moment we arrived to leaving the service was first class. Friendly, welcoming, great atmosphere, excellent food and great value. We will definitely be back. Not the best experience. Food was definitely not the best. Service not good. The staff need to be more friendly and welcoming. It's like they cannot wait to get you served and out and definitely need a lesson on basic customer service. Food was edible but not hot and the risotto had no flavour at all. I would have complained at the time but I went before and complained my dessert was frozen and they told me that was impossible even though they watched my fork bounce off the dessert. Gave them the benefit of the doubt but that's it for us. On a plus the place was very clean and cutlery and glasses shone.

Exceptionally high quality Italian at really good prices. The area around it is not so pleasant but do not let that put you off. The staff were attentive and friendly in their manner. The food was top notch.

Absolutely amazing place to eat. Decor is really nice and bright. Staff were super friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful. Found our new local go-to Italian to eat at with these guys after the quality at Bella Italia dropped through the floor. I'd heartily recommend their pizzas, particularly the Il Michaelangelo. Fair prices for really good food and portions.

Fab place food is excellent so are the staff the only negative is the access as the steps at the front have no hand rails and it's difficult for someone with walking disabilities to access and exit and also tiles on the steps are slippery when wet. Needs proper disabled access and toilets

Disappointed this time :-( food was just okay, bit bland, but the sting was paying £42.00 for one bottle of wine! Waiter argued he'd shown us the wine menu, yes briefly, before advising us to have the Chardonnay once he'd collected the menus... Doesn't have an authentic Italian feel.

We took a friend for her birthday, the service was great, the food was really lovely, fresh and plentiful, a great restaurant serving delicious food with very polite, attentive staff. We came from Suffolk to take our friend out - we will be back. Compliments to the chef and team and the waiting staff - one of the best Italians ever. Lovely touch was a candle in her dessert and happy birthday being sung to our friend by staff❤️ Thank you for wonderful time x

One of the best local Italian restaurants I've been to. The food was amazing and hot, staff were friendly and pleasant. The restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. Service was quick and we'll be definitely coming back.

Atmospheric decor and Italian speaking staff. Kitchen team were flexible enough to allow me to have a main course of my own suggestion, mixing ingredients available elsewhere on the menu. I had a freshly and authentically cooked main course of linguine which was tasty, if a little pricey at £18. Tiramisu was freshly made on the premises too although a little overpowering in mascarpone for my taste and lacking in the coffee and amaretto punch. Less of a pick me up, and more of an overly sickly finish. Special occasion restaurant, worth a trip.

Been here a few times. First I went back a few years ago I was really impressed! I'm surprised this little gem was in little old Brierley Hill. It was as good as anything I'd had in Italy or London. I visited there second weekend of August and I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the Polo Principessa. The potatoes we clearly old and had been reheated. I also thought the cream tasted a little sour but considered maybe i was being too critical so thought nothing of it. Shortly after eating, on the drive home I very quickly had stomach cramps and spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom suffering from the symptoms of food poisoning.
