Great little place. Friendly and unpretentious, everything was cooked fresh. Service was relaxed and attentive. Good food, nice wine, highly recommended.

Piacere is a delight. It's a tiny family restaurant with a simple , straightforward style, and a focus on making sure the food is exactly as it should be, and the service is relaxed and friendly. The Polpette meatballs are a perfect balance of the richness of the spiced sausage and the sharpness of an authentic italian tomato sauce. Main courses when we visited were pastas and risottos. The softness and lightness of my paccheri pasta complemented nicely the earthiness of the beef cheek in the Genovese sauce. My friends were equally enthusiastic about the Carlona and the Risotto Salmone. We like the fact that we were able to bring our own wine. And we loved the idea of a (Treviso) strudel on an Italian menu. We will be back !

My experience was absolutely excellent and David made everything easier as he explained everything to us that we wasn’t sure about. He was also very polite and respectful to all of us. The food was also served on time and it was very fresh. I would definitely recommend

We had lunch at the restaurant. We tried the Pane della casa, Carpaccio di manzo and Pappardelle Anatra. Everything was delicious. Pasta is cooked to perfection. The ambiance is youthful and bright, also server was friendly too. We’ll be back again for sure.

Hidden little gem. Food is really fabulous, beautiful plates and glasses. The restaurant was very quiet and had many staff yet service could be improved, no one checking in, no one asked if we are okay or wanted another drink etc you have to go out of your way to get their attention and no one said bye to us, all stood talking or wandering but on a good note they did look happy and having a good time, just need to be more observant of customers. I’d return for the great food - I found the menu a little overwhelming so I’d recommend looking prior.

Estuvimos en Sheffield en un concierto en el campus universitario. Caminamos por West Street durante un rato disfrutando de las diversas cocinas que se ofrecen. Este lugar me cantó ya que estaba ocupado con los comensales y parecía un edificio pequeño interesante. El personal era inmediatamente servicial, hizo recomendaciones (que fueron apreciadas) y fueron muy serviciales, por ejemplo, ofrecerse a tomar fotos. Solo pequeños toques... La comida era excelente. Sin duda recomendaría.

Da napoletano ho apprezzato molto la pizza Margherita, ottima, niente da invidiare a quelle fatte a Napoli. Sfiziosi i tozzetti di pizza da intingere nell'olio con l'aglio.

superb lunch including fabulous tuna carpaccio and monkfish - the deserts also were superb with a fine wine list - wonderful atmosphere with the owner present highly recommended

Visited for the 1st time on a Saturday evening. Was very busy but the service was still excellent. I have a chicken dish, which if anything was too large!! but really nice. My son had a calzone which again was really good. Value for money was excellent considering the city centre location and will visit again when next in Sheffield.
