A lovely little restaurant! Wonderful food for cheap prices, and a lovely atmosphere

Cosy and good value Italian café. Ordered chicken pasta and sandwich which were both tasty and generous portions. Really good coffee too.

There is tasty pizza and Turkish tea

A welcome surprise on a day visit to Sheffield. Freshly cooked Calzone. The small wine was quite large (hic). Way better than a supermarket meal deal!

Easy to walk past this one but you'd be missing out on a real gem! Cosy atmosphere inside, great service and even better food. Tried a few menu items now and everything is always consistently good. There can be a little wait for food when it's busy but it's well worth hanging around for.

Nice flat white & mushroom omelette. 🍄 The waiter let me leave my rucksack there. 🎒

I really like their pastas! They are just amazing! I always go with vegetarian pastas because I don’t usually eat chicken out but is is worth the price! The waiter is helpful and you would like the place!

The guy working was so rude I couldn't recommend less. He slams food down onto the table and then practically runs away as if he's genuinely scared of giving good service. Pizza was good though, chef knows what they're doing.

Apparently with the loss of the old owner “Casian” Apettito will never be the same. Customer service is rubbish.The guy over there do not have a clue about customer sevice !!! I ask for a plain pizza for my ill son and I offer them to pay for a full price one !! The guy there told me that the chef do not have time to do that because he is busy but any other pizza will be done in 10 min 🤣🤣. I told him if I order a pizza with cheese is not the same? Basically I’m asking for a plain pizza His answer was sorry we can’t ..

I apologize for my limited Italian. I had lunch here today, I personally wouldn't come again. The restaurant isn't expensive and the food wasn't terrible, so I'll still give it three stars, but for lunch options it's limited. Also, the service was OK, but not great. For Italian cafes in Sceffield, I would recommend Caffè Tucci much more than this place if you want an exceptional experience. However, if amazing food and friendly service aren't your priority, this restaurant is good enough. A thousand thanks!

I tried a Tricolore sandwich (Green pesto, tomatoes, avocado, mozzarella cheese), which was really good. I will visit this Italian coffee again.

Had a coffee for a couple of times and a lunch once for sandwich. The coffee and food is delicious with absolutely fair price, and the service is very kind! I do like how they decorate the place. The atmophere is great to have a coffee or afternoon tea with a book you like!

Stumbled upon this place on a very wet Saturday afternoon. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and friendly. Would definitely go back if I'm in Sheffield again.

It was very tasty ! We shared cannelloni, 3 cheese pizza and chicken pasta. Everything was good but I especially liked the latter ! The place is small, intimate and pretty. The waitress was really nice as well. I definitely recommend this place if you want to eat italian food in Sheffield for a reasonable price !

I wish we had the chance to eat here, came across it looking for coffee and enjoyed a lovely coffee there. The food looked good and would make sure to try it next time. Nice staff and a really cute place to sit and relax in!

Small cosy italian cafe, does range of sandwiches, pasta dishes and pizzas all cooked fresh to order. Went in Saturday lunchtime with student daughter, really impressed with the food and great value!

I love this place, I always want a coffee from here. I've been tried Americano, cappuccino and flat white and all of them are perfect. They are served with the right temperature, really similar to Italy. I fully recommend this place.

Booked this last minute as it was one of the few Italian restaurants that allowed dogs in. It looks more like a cafe rather than a restaurant but the food was top class. I had spicy prawns and lobster ravioli. Both first class. Pizzas are also great - 2 of the party had those Owner was really friendly Cost was also great value Must be visited

I love this place. It's small and friendly. The food is nice. There is a loot of foot and car traffic passing by if you sit outside. I like that but, it might be too much for some people.

Amazing food! Had lunch there today, I had the most delicious chicken caesar salad, the chicken was beautifully soft and well cooked. My partner had a margarita pizza and it was absolutely perfect. The owner was so friendly and enthusiastic, cannot wait to go back and try some of the pasta dishes.

Lovely little cafe. While visiting the university I called in to have lunch, amazing fresh pizzas. The owner is so friendly and very hospitable. We took home some Italian sweet treats which were delicious. Will definitely be coming back here! Thank you 😊

We stopped for a lunch there and it had turned out it was one of the best lunches we’ve ever had. We actually commented that many full blown Italian restaurants we know could learn few things from this little place. We were served by the owner, lovely, professional and attentive person. Absolutely fabulous meal this evening, started with Calamari to share and then two lovely main courses. Fabulous coffee and spirits to finish. The food and service is excellent!

Placed an order through Justeat and cancelled the order the minute it was supposed to arrive without explaining why or contacting me for directions if needed. Unacceptable.

Limited menu, but everything is made fresh here including the mayonnaise. More expensive than a meal deal, but well worth it.

Tried their Bolognese Penne today and I'll have to say its definitely worth the money 🤤 The portion is quite big for me (I'm quite a small eater) but I still managed to finish everything as it was really delicious ! Another thing worth mentioning about is the restaurant's atmosphere. It feels so relaxing with natural sunlight shining in while smelling freshly brewed espresso ☺ Will be coming back soon for their desserts 😌 (am eyeing on their Panna Cotta)

Wonderful food and amazing service

Probably the most authentic Italian experience in Sheffield. Exquisite deserts and easily the best coffee I’ve had in years. I feel lucky to have found this place.

I do not give five stars easily but after this evenings take away they have earned it. I got a ribs in a tomato sauce with vegetables. It is not on the menu, but what he was cooking for family and friends. It was delicious. That was a good meal. Been in for a coffee several times in the past but the first time I have been in for food. eta that I have now had several meals for Appetito on Saturday evenings, I have never had anything less than superb service and good food.

It was our first time ordering and eating from Appetito, we used the deliverio app. We live a bit far out, and even though no driver wanted to take the order, the manager himself drove to our house and dropped off our food, well within the delivery time given. The food itself is to die for. Even though we ordered our, the quality was that of dining in. The lasagne reminded me of my Nonna's (not an easy feat), the salad was fresh, which is rare with take away food, and the home made bread was perfect. My partner had the Calzone which he rates 10/10. He said he hadn't had one as good since he was in his home town at his local and regular Italian restaurant 😅 If you're still on the app in future, we will definitely order again, either way, we would love to pop in once lockdown ends and its safe to do so. If you want to feel like you are sitting in a nice coffee shop in italy, Appetito is the place to go. Appetito is a great place to eat amazingly cooked, fresh food, while drinking authentic Italian-made coffee. The Mocha here is outstanding and definitely beats any other coffee shop I have ever been too. The owner is lovely to talk to, and always makes me smile even on the days I feel the most depressed. I always feel revived and fresh, and very relaxed after I have spent the day at Appetito. I feel like I would be coming here for many years to come.

Apiteto is certainly one of the best in Sheffield. Its customer service is excellent, the front of house and chef are so nice and as is the food and coffee. Definitely the most underrated Coffee shop and cafe in Sheffield, always tops my list.

Do not miss this place! It is one of the hidden gems of Sheffield! Authentic Italian coffee and Mediterranean style food for hard to beat prices! If you add a great atmosphere and friendly personal to it you have got all ingredients for a great time!

Really tasty Italian food. We shared thin crust pizza, excellent lasagne, delicious ribs and some pan fried sea bass, and tiramisu to finish. The service was friendly and we ate a bit more than we should have thanks to the eat out to help out discount but the normal prices would be very reasonable. We'd definitely go back and if you want home cooked Italian food in town at a good price I'd highly recommend!

Had a fabulous meal with my husband yesterday. We only went for some wine and nibbles but the food looked so good we couldn't resist. We started with olives feta and bread then shared a plate of ribs and rosemary potatoes that were to die for. We often pop in during the week for lunch as it's so reasonably priced. I have previously ordered the sea bass which was the best I've had - and I mean anywhere. The staff are warm and welcoming, I cannot recommend highly enough.

Under new managment and it's amazing!! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is spot on. I highly recomend it to annyone who want's to have a great meal! Thank you and see you soon!

A great find. Authentic Italian food, so tasty, freshly made and at great prices. I had the lasagne which was fabulous. My wife had the lobster filled pasta. There is a great menu and we can't wait to go again. Highly recommend.

I have visited this unassuming cafe with both friends and family and have had a brilliant experience every time; the owner is extremely friendly and makes an effort to have a chat with you and make you feel welcome and relaxed. The food is lovely, and they are happy to make something for you not on the menu if you can't find something you like. The strawberry cheesecake is a personal favourite. All round a wonderful experience every time!

I visit Appetito frequently for my morning coffee (excellent value - £2 for any coffee to takeaway, or £3 including an exquisite home made pastry). I also pop in from time to time for a sandwich to take away for lunch (e.g. mozzarella, tomato, pesto on home made bread) or for a more substantial meal to eat in with friends and colleagues (e.g. cannelloni). Appetito offers exceptional value for money given the very high quality of their freshly made food (including beautiful home made breads). Service is fast and accommodating and Appetito is really a great choice for a quick and satisfying working lunch.

I ordered spaghetti bolognese but with tube pasta instead of spaghetti, I've got be honest - it tasted delicious, but the ratio of bolognese to pasta wasn't great. It was a bowl of pasta with a tiny bit of bolognese. Xx

Hidden little gem on West Street.Tasty espresso and nice set-up. Didn't try the food but got a cheeky whiff from another customer's order and it smelled delicious. Recommended.

This is a brilliant place for a spot of lunch, its fresh and light! Theres a great choice of vegetarian food! I love the coffee and the biscuit on top!
