The best pasta in Sheffield - no contest. Staff are lovely too. A lovely touch to have someone making the fresh past whilst you’re there and their family made red wine Il Vescovo is a treat not to be missed.

First time visiting and will absolutely not be the last!! Everything was absolutely amazing!! From the service to the food was perfect. You may think you’ve eaten pasta but unless you go here you haven’t!!! A different level of freshly made pasta will blow you away!

Our friends had booked Grazie in advance of our trip to Sheffield so we had no idea what we walking in to. What an amazing surprise! Grazie is fantastic in every regard. Superb, original, freshly made pasta. Possibly the best I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a lot!). The service is excellent and the wine is spot on. For starters we chose the Tartara Venison and the Carpaccio di Manzo sharing half each. They were incredible. I then had the Gemberi E N’Duja Mafalda pasta which was amazing. The cheese board to finish was shared amongst the 4 of us rounded off with a limoncello. Grazie is not the cheapest Italian but is worth every penny you spend. We recently spent a weeks holiday in Puglia and for a couple of hours on Saturday evening we were back there reminded by the pasta and delicious Primitivo. We cant wait to come back

Always a pleasure to eat here. Pasta is made on the premises and menu is always innovative if not always successful, have found some combinations a tad bland but other times it has been truly delicious. Service is always professional and friendly and they are completely passionate about their food and rightly so.

Stumbled across this place. It was 9pm, after a long journey and given they were due to close in 30 mins they warmly welcomed us, seated us and served the best food. Would highly recommend. Great atmosphere, great food and great, speedy service, however didn’t feel rushed.

Eaten here a few times now and it never fails to impress, amazing food and wine to go with it. Beef cheek on the menu at the time was incredible and should certainly be brought back! "Best tiramisu in the world" according to my wife.

i went to these places for eat in weekend so poor service and bad worst food ever i had so i didn’t i couldn’t eat the food what they bring it and cheap Quality of orange juice which is a shame expensive restaurant it sell staf like that so very expensive it not worth it i will never go back to that place i feel sick after .

Monday night and totally packed should say enough, but it was the 1st time I have ever really ventured out with food, due to the cost and not liking it, etc... but omg, what have I been missing. Absolutely amazing food the service and the staff are brilliant and not in your face asking questions when you have just taken a mouthful of food, lol. Honestly, I will recommend it to anyone, and I will definitely be going again. Thank you for such a pleasant evening.

The food was excellent, but the member of waiting staff just didn't get my comment about the Carciofi e Capesante not being vegan because it was stated as containing scallops and black caviar. Perhaps I couldn't be heard very well as, due to the acoustics the place was very noisy (this was still early evening). I was hoarse by the end of our meal and was only talking across a table for two

Dined here for my dad's birthday last week. The food was excellent, really tasty and beautifully presented. The staff who tended to us were very professional and clearly cared about what they were serving. We were served mainly by Alfio who was friendly and accommodating. Lovely atmosphere, not too crowded as some other comments have said. We were really comfortable and even had our outdoor coats placed into a closet during our stay. Very authentic and well-enjoyed.

My experience Grazie in Sheffield city centre was disappointing. It was overpriced and bland – an overall quite underwhelming experience. The presentation was nice on some dishes, but generally the flavours were basic and poorly seasoned. My carbonara was very bland in flavour & my brother's scallops were undercooked. The space needs acoustic treatment - it was very loud & we couldn’t have normal conversations on our table. For the higher prices they charge, you'd expect much better.

Amazing place! What a lovely vibe! Tried the truffle pasta with Tiramisu Pistachio and it was great. Highly recommend Alfio because he was such a lovely host! Thank you very much, definitely coming again!

Grazie blew us away on our visit Tuesday evening. Everything from the staff to the food to the atmosphere was just brilliant. We were hesitant to eat here for a 'date' night thinking it might be too casual but the ambiance, menu and staff made it feel like a high end Italian restaurant. It felt like a proper Italian experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff who were extremely attentive and catered to our every need. The fresh, home made pasta was incredible and it was great to see filet mignon on a menu and the chefs nailed it. I couldn't be happier to have chose Grazie and really look forward to eating there agin.

Some of the best pasta I’ve had, and so many choices! The menu helpfully provides a description of the different pasta shapes available, and what they’re made of (semolina and water, or 00 flour and egg). Everything tasted fresh, and portions were generous. We had an early booking on a Saturday night, and although the place was quite full, we didn’t feel it was cramped or too loud. Nice decor and lighting topped off the experience.

3 stars because the restaurant were super crowded, like you could practically join in the convo to the table next to you. We were also seated closer by the kitchen so staffs would rushed around by you so that wasn’t pleasant.. we had to get the attention of the waiters multiple times, so service charge on top was unnecessary as the service wasn’t really servicing… Food was nice not bad, clams starter had a metallic taste to the broth… not great. I enjoyed the pasta dishes we both shared everything.

Absolutely superb restaurant. The staff are fantastic, attentive and very efficient and the food is absolutely delicious, some of the best pasta I've ever had. What a gem, I'm not surprised at all they were so busy on a Tuesday evening. Highly recommend!

Booked via the booking system on Google maps. simple and easy. Was showed to the table closest to the street. It was a hot day and there was breeze so not too bad. Ordered 3x oysters for starter. They are on the smaller side. Ordered a capagnelle pasta with Ragu in red wine sauce. Pasta was freshly made at the front of the restaurant. Divine! Ordered a seafood pasta, the seafood was fresh, with quite a lot of shells to get through. Overall very tasty. Need to hurry to get back to car park and has to skip dessert. Will go back again to try out other pasta and dessert.

Exceeded my expectations on most levels. Rarely in my opinion do you find quality authentic Italian cuisine in city centres due to high rents …. Savings seem to be made on ingredients! Not here. Beautifully prepared, presented and tasting pasta dishes.

Stopped by with the family for dinner. Venue looked inviting. But £110 for 4 mediocre tasting mains plus 1 tiny starter. Took at least 20 minutes to be served too. Won't return...

1st visit to this restaurant, it will not be our last, absolutely 1st class food , plus 1st class service from beginning to end. In Sheffield city centre yesterday taking in the sights and sounds of the tramlines fringe festival, booked a table the night before so glad we did. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the lovely smile of the young lady on reception who got us a great table in the window much appreciated my dear. Our waiter Alfio was attentive without being intrusive and very efficient the service was speedy, but at no time did we feel we were being rushed quite the reverse they gave the impression we could stay as long as we wanted We started with classic bruschetta wow ! the taste and textures for a simple dish were amazing probably the best I have tasted Main course for us both was the Ragu Misto, including pasta Campanella which was cooked to perfection (The restaurant is called a pasta lab and you can actually see the chefs making the fresh pasta which is very interesting) with beef, pork, nduja ragu. The meat was very well cooked marvellous taste and texture the ragu was just right a hint of spice without being overpowering very subtle, beautifully tasty, can thoroughly recommend All in all a fabulous culinary experience. If you like Authentic Italian food especially pasta dishes then you must visit here

Below average bland food for the high price paid as others point out. The atmosphere is loud that you cannot hear the person opposite you. Service was so quick that I was pushed to choose a drink and then food separately. Lack of warmth from staff was evident, it was opposite to Italian hospitality that we were an afterthought and were seen to be turned around and out quickly. 10% service being added to bill shows an attitude of following what other restaurants try, rather than being original and letting people tip naturally.

Disappointing, especially with how expensive it is.

True Italian creative menu, a must visit if you like Italian food. Recently felt service has been a bit let down (especially when tipping is already included in the bill). Staff running around tables and being rushed to leave.

Aggressive chef serving below average and overpriced food. His behaviour is the reason for the review. My mum sent back a very bland pasta dish that was a big disappointment for £17. The chef, in an open kitchen, looked at her as if he was going to hit her for the next half an hour to the point his colleague waved an apology over and physically turned him away. If you’re Carluccio then it’s understandable to be upset by a returned plate. That dish was a flavourless squash pasta. The swordfish tortelli was also bad and I could’ve sent that back if the meal hadn’t already been ruined. The pasta was too thick and the tortelli poorly made letting the boiling water hit the cheese turning the filling into a very grainy consistency. Served in the ‘house bisque’ that had split and lacked any depth. Overall it was more sand than sea. Lovely front of house staff and I hope he treats them better than he did my family. If you can’t control yourself, you need to work behind closed doors.

Authentic Puglian Italian food, the Agnello was marvelous, the Ox Ragu was amazing and the best dessert I've ever tasted was the Millefoglie, although I also tried the Gelato Sorbetto, which was beautiful. The staff are friendly, helpful and explain the dishes when asked, nothing is too much trouble. Best Italian restaurant in Sheffield and some of the best food I've ever tasted. Thank you for making this a great experience, we will be back. Bellissimo.

An amazing authentic Italian restaurant. Paolo and the rest of the team were looking after everything I needed in a professional and calm way and served delicious and fresh food from Puglia (the do the pasta and everything from scratch). I'm not local to Sheffield but would defiantly come back in future visit and highly recommend the place.

The prawn was not fresh ，have a diarrhea as soon as I get home.

I went for dinner with my wife. While the service was acceptable, the restaurant was incredibly busy and as the tables are so close together it is hard to have a conversation and we felt very rushed. The food was adequate, however nothing special and certainly did not justify the prices charged. I had the "agnello" lamb shoulder dish, which tasted like Lancashire hot pot with pasta rather than potatoes... probably one of the more unusual Italian dishes I have had. Having spent time in Puglia, I had expected a lot more. Overall very disappointing, and a long way from the romantic meal I had hoped for.

Update. Went again. All good Lovely. Real care taken with the food. Friendly service. Only criticism was that the chairs were uncomfortable and the toilets a bit smelly

Had a meal with family here one Saturday evening, which everyone enjoyed. Great quality Italian food, really interesting flavours and pasta styles (shapes) made in house. Necessary to book well in advance to get in at peak time, place was full even at ~9pm. The restaurant is relatively small and tightly packed so it did have quite high background noise from other guests. But can't fault the food or service.

So this is the best independent modern Italian restaurant in Sheffield. The food is modern, original, fresh ingredients, the drinks are classics with old favourites. The service is friendly, helpful and just right. The atmosphere is busy, intimate and great for celebrating, children and families welcome too. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, highly recommend to everyone.

Could easily be the best restaurant in all of Sheffield, it was like being transported to the south of Italy. They have a monthly specials menu to go with the normal menu, which is always worth a look at! The pasta is made fresh and basically in front of you, which not only reassuring but adds to the charm and satisfying atmosphere. The ox cheek ragu is amazing, especially when you add the N’duja! Seafood is amazing, and the ingredients are just fresh and full of flavour. The real show stealer is the pistachio tiramisu. I could live on that and only that for the rest of my life if need be. It was so good! Tremendous restaurant with amazing, welcoming staff!

The best thing I can say about the experience is "Meh". The staff were friendly but the food was pretenious at the expense of taste. It was not bad per say but a far cry from the simplier menu Grazie used to offer before they moved the restraunt. The pasta dish my partner had looked great but tasted lackluster, far below the standards we would have expected for the price range. The table and seats were also far too high and not comfortable at all. Felt like I had to eat with my elbows in the air, have staff actually tried eating at them? Sadly I think there are other restraunts in Yorkshire more deserving of a visit. Also putting a 10% service charge on as default annoys me. The service was fine and deserving of the 10% on this occasion but it is entitled to automatically include it. Is that authentic too?

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I took my Italian husband here for his birthday (tho he's from piemonte not puglia). We traveled from Manchester. the atmosphere was so lovely and chilled (despite being fully booked), the service seemed so effortless and skilful and the food genuinely blew me away. The prices were so good, too - just amazing in every way. The puttanesca and the pistachio tiramisu were out of this world. Grazie infinite! 🥰 🙏

Came for dinner with my partner, we had a lovely time, the food was really well made and well flavoured, service was really friendly and attentive, lots of choice on the menu which seemed thoughtfully put together. Only slightly wrong note was the espresso at the end which my partner felt was just average (I don't drink coffee) but that did not impact on our enjoyment - we'll definitely be going back there.

This is a slick city centre restaurant - the food and wine were delicious but the service a tad brisk and the glassy bright interior not hugely atmospheric. Excellent location easy to find and I would return.

Staff service is exemplary, helpful, friendly and the food is top level. Open view of kitchen with busy but chilled chefs, working hard but quietly and calmly. Wonderful atmosphere, would definitely visit again.

The food was lacking salt and flavor but it was edible. But the service was horrible, they kept hovering over my table waiting for me to leave so they can have the table and kept asking to take my plates even though they still had food just to empty out the table for the next customers. So overall horrible experience wouldn’t recommend
