The best restaurants serving Italian food in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

Went with the family and were made to feel very welcome. Friendly service excellent coffee, pastries and a cracking tiramisu would highly recommend.

This establishment had a lovely homely feel. The food was excellent and the chef ensured the meal was exciting and tasty. The drinks were excellent, overall a lovely place for a night out.

The pizza was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my visit to hidden and will definitely be returning

A wonderful Sunday evening spent here food matched the wonderful service. The place it's self is really nice and welcoming perfect for that first date or a 40th wedding anniversary meal ! Very affordable good menu with a wine list to match. So sorry this is not nearer home to us, but we shall look forward to returning on our next sortie to Harrogate very soon

I visited last night with 2 friends for a last minute dinner after visiting the Turkish Baths. I had the braised beef shin with added Burrata - it was absolutely AMAZING!! I genuinely cannot wait to go back and have it again. The service was efficient and lovely wine too. Can't recommend it enough

Brilliant, unique, delicious food with a great selection of wine. A must if you’re in Harrogate.

We had a meal last night as a family and it was absolutely delicious. Spoilt for choice with regards to the menu, excellent food and staff who couldn’t look after us more. Thank you

I changed my review to a lower rating because some time after I posted my original review I opened Google maps and read how awfully you responded to me and took zero responsibility for the way things are at your restaurant. Your aggressive and rude behaviour shows clearly through your words and reflects everything I have described in my original review and what some of your staff is like in your restaurant. Laughable. Get a grip and learn to Learn from feedback rather than accuse the customer for being made to feel ripped off by You. Franky, if a customer feels a certain way, they don't owe you any explanation? I decide to spend my money in your restaurant, I'm allowed to leave you a review based on how you made me feel and what you served me in your premises. If you can't provide a good service or take a good look at yourself and your staff, than that's all on you. Original review: Would not recommend, food was good but the waitress who took our order and appeared to be in charge was rude to us and other guests who were walking in, she practically shouted at them that their party of 12 better be 12 and not 14 as they have not got the space for 14 and also shouted at them to shut the front door as it's too windy.. All that could have been said in much different way seeing as they are about to drop a big amount of money on their meals. Not very knowledgeable about the food served either. My partner ordered veal and she asked whether he wanted it rear or well done and he said rear, minutes later the chef then came out the kitchen to ask her why the veal is marked as rear as he can't make it rear if it's so thin. It was a very uncomfortable experience altogether. Also there appeared to be far too many waiting and bar staff behind a tiny bar. Could do with some customer service training and less staff really. The roasted potatoes were really good, but the tomato sauce too sweet and not reduced enough. Overall not great really. Quite sad for a small "family run" business.

Fantastic pub if back in Harrogate will definitely go back staff where amazing food was amazing everyone enjoyed what they had everyone was so friendly. Still same great service we have been last three years in a row now while visiting harrogate convention centre.

I went to the Christmas dinner,it was superb,great host's.Really friendly and so much food.Excellent time was had by all.very welcoming.

Valentines Evening at Ripon. I forgot to order a meal where we stayed .. and it was packed out. So we had a wander looking for a meal. Found the restaurant. Had a great meal Penne Pollen Pasta. And a pudding after ( you have too!! ) Fantastic meal. 2 pints of Italian beer. And the wife's company. Made my evening Made the pasta since. ( Wife requested it ) Chef at Hot Lava did it better. ( It always tastes better cooked for you.) And Tiramisu made to order. A brilliant meal in a lovely place.

One star hygiene rating. Avoid! Paper work issues alone won't make it one star.

Been going to Pizza World for years, and almost every time the food is great. The staff, who have been there for years, are great and always accommodating.

Luckily for us we swerved the Premier Inn next door and booked here at Al Bivio Top service and food and a lovely venue with atmosphere and warmth. The staff were so welcoming, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing at a very reasonable price. Met at the door, asked if wanted to hang out coats, seen straight to our table, very attentive staff with a smiles and a genuine warmth. Would definitely recommend 100% and will return when next in the area
