The best restaurants serving Italian food in West Midlands

I was reluctant to go but it fitted in with what else we were doing.I wasn’t happy with the menu. My daughter was ok with it. I chose lasagna, she had chicken wings and sweet potato fries. She seemed relatively happy. When mine arrived with the earring “. the plate is hot, be careful” you knew what you were in for.To my surprise, it was worse. Warm in part, chilled in another. I asked for it to be changed to be told “ he’s doing you a fresh one now”.When it arrived the topping was burnt to a crisp and the steam coming off it was non stop. The cook had obviously doubled the time in the microwave from last time.It was tasteless. I assured myself this would be my last visit ever.The one shining star in all this chaos was Chelsea, our waitress. Bright, efficient, cheery and very apologetic. Too good for this placeIn fairness I was charged for the lasagna. I wouldn’t have paid for it anyway!

Garlic bread was utterly phenomenal !!!, i would go back just for the garlic bread, delicious, best thing i have put in my mouth

Another great meal here. Food freshly prepared by an excellent chef. Food yet again was delicious.

First time I tried this as I had the voucher for £5 main course. I’m used to eating local fast food pizza this is far from that. has fresh ingredients made to order. Would be better if they had something spicy too.

Love it here. Had the starter sharer platter of meats cheese bread etc absolutely huge and so filling. Great service, have been a few times now great every time.

Not the sort of language you expect on a review and most certainly not the language I expect from self confessed hungover bar staff as they fall in for their shift at midday, I would have been inclined to let the first f*** go as it was obvious the member of staff didn't realise there was a family with 2 children in the room and although not directed at us there was at least a moment of realisation and apology. HOWEVER, 2 s***s and a sciatica related f*** later and we were speechless. There is obviously a staff shortage as one of the rants was related to having to complete split shifts as the manager isn't willing to just pick one CV from the 20 he has and employ them on the spot with no interview or trial, I can only imagine that's how this particular member of staff got their job. James, you could try the barmans mate, apparently she is as keen as mustard, I would rather run a customer facing business short of staff than have customers endure this sort of behaviour. I won't name names but I'm sure James the manager can line up the sciatica comment or maybe even DNA test the lip stick marks on the window from the night before that they were so proud of, referring to them selves as a bunch of 'window lickers', appalling! I have a feeling this review may even be a badge of honour.

Just visited Sicily. Sicily guy made me fresh chips, fresh kebab and salad. Top service and good quality of food.

I ordered food for my girlfriend on Just Eat, but because I was out of the country and using a different SIM card, my usual phone number wasn’t working. They claimed they had left the food outside my house, which would’ve been understandable given the phone issue — if they had actually left it there. The problem is, they didn’t. I have a Ring camera that my girlfriend and I were actively watching while we waited for the food. The camera sends notifications whenever someone approaches the house, and it didn’t go off at all. We also didn’t see anyone come to the door, so it's clear they most likely delivered it to the wrong address. So basically, I paid for nothing — and when I called to explain that the food wasn’t outside, they took zero accountability. In fact, the sassy guy on the phone hung up on me instead of helping or trying to get to the bottom of the issue. Absolutely horrible service. I strongly advise no one ever orders from this place. I would choose order never came of it was an option but it isn’t so i chose over an hour late.

Do not order food from here. I’ve previously eaten in at Fireaway - before the management change - and the food was great. But I ordered food via uber eats today, and it never showed up. They do not arrange for anyone to deliver your food, the number they have provided to uber eats is wrong, if you call the number provided here they do not answer, and you cannot request a refund as uber eats doesn’t know that they haven’t left for delivery, because they say they provide their own drivers. It’s taken me over an hour to get my refund after waiting for my food that was never coming.

Wonderful food in fact some of the best Italian food I have ever had.Very relaxed atmosphere and the staff and chef were lovely,it was such an enjoyable evening.

I went in for the Karak Chai but ended up buying their milkshake, I had the Ferraro Roche and my friend had a Biscoff one, both were a good portion, well presented and tasteful, mean while my other friend was making deals with the friendly staff, we enjoyed the milkshakes so much we forgot to take pictures. Overall a sweet finish to a lovely evening.

Great pizza.Always great delivery service with friendly drivers.Their new wraps are amazing.The pizzas and side dishes are really lovely - it's great to finally have such a nice pizza restaurant in Rubery.
