Michelangelo's in Staffordshire Moorlands

We ate in quite a few restaurants and visited twice in our 5 night stay. Once for a simple Pizza but the next for one of their specials. All very good and frankly very good value. Nice friendly staff as well

My partner and I visited for tea on a Friday at 6pm. Fabulous friendly service. We shared a pizza and pasta dish, the lady brought us extra bowl and plate to make sharing easier. Delicious food and reasonably priced. Definitely will retuns. A wonderful dining experience.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant a number of times when holidaying in Buxton over the years and we've always enjoyed it. Pleased to say it's still good quality, excellent value and friendly. Tomato garlic pizza bread to share for starter followed by lasagne and chilli chicken slices lovely. A big plus here is that you can also byow. There is a corkage of £6, but that still offers a big saving if you're a serious wine drinker, especially if you take a posh wine. No hesitation to recommend and we will be back yet again on our next visit. Edward and Christina McAlpine

Staying in Buxton for a few days and wanted a nice restaurant to eat in. We hadn’t booked but this wasn’t an issue. Friendly, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere, good menu and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. The meals were freshly cooked, lovely and hot and really tasty. Excellent value for money too, we would definitely recommend!

We liked the atmosphere here, it's a pleasant cosy restaurant with good service. Nothing was missed. We had fritto misto and pollo pancake to start, both good, pancake in a nice sauce. Then chicken risotto and pork chop saltimbocca in marsalla sauce with roast veg and potatoes, again very good, roast veg was onion, courgette, tomatoes and spuds all done in a little dish. Finished off with sweets and a double espresso. We took our own wine and paid corkage. Really nice meal. We were in at 6.30 and were the only ones there, another couple arrived at 7.00 followed by parties of three and six. It was a wet December 30th. Definitely come again.
