The food is good, i would recommend the pizzas over the pasta. It can get quite loud when it’s busy

Myself & 2 friends booked in here on a Saturday afternoon for the pizza & bottomless Prosecco. It was fabulous! Jess was our server & she was outstanding, with a brilliant personality & kept our glasses topped up. Great value. The pizzas were divine & the atmosphere was great. We wish we could visit every Saturday for this!

One of our regular go to restaurants for either sit in or take out pizza, great staff and lovely food.

Went early, so we could get our infant grandson to bed on time, still busy and had a nice buzz . Food great as always and friendly, efficient service.There was live music The previous visit, but we were earlier this time and my mother wouldn't have thanked them for music anyway, so great for us, but music is another plus for the Napoli!

We visited on a busy Sunday night - excellent food, wide variety for vegetarians and vegans, service a little slow as they were very busy, but well worth a visit for the quality of Italian food

Unfortunately we will not be going back to Napoli after trying it for the first time. The service was very slow with some people opting to collect their own drinks that were left sitting on the bar for a very long time. Starter was nice but the mains we ordered were very bland and basic and at over £15 a main, this was surprising. Our bill came to £75 in total and after waiting a while for someone to take our payment they offered an apology and a £2.99 discount… (staff discount applied to our starter) staff were all friendly but very disorganised.

Lovely venue..... And then the performance began. Booked a table 5 weeks ago and picked out where we wanted to sit. On arrival the venue was packed and we didn't get where we had originally chosen to sit. We waited 25 minutes at our table before we were asked if we would like a drink. On the back of this we ordered food at the same time. We then waited over 1 hour 25 minutes for our food which impacted on the rest of our night. The food was nice but the venue needs to be kinder to their staff and not over book when they cannot cope with the demand. Too much attention paid to a children's party at what became 9:30pm for a 7:45pm booking. It was that busy we were sat like sardines and we had trouble accessing the toilets! Staff were excellent but put under unnecessary pressure. We will not be returning so the other Italian in town has now won our custom 😡

Food was lovely this evening but unfortunately service was poor even though we pre ordered in advance,1 starter missing, came after the main,10 of us booked, 7 mains came the other 3 were alot later,this we found disappointing.An item on the menu had been changed so they were given an alternative but weren't made aware of this when we arrived.....never had a problem on previous visits, restaurant was very busy, no one even came to check if meals were OK just found tonight's experience really disappointing.......

The service of the staff was outstanding. They were so friendly and welcoming. The food, the food (yes I have repeated it!) was perfect. Freshly made (which showed) and delicious. I wished I lived in Leek so I could go back time and time again and we came across it by chance!! 5*

Very disappointed last night. I don’t like to leave negative reviews as but unfortunately I will be. We arrived on time for our booking seen to our table and weren’t offered drinks for another 30minutes. When we were finally asked we could then see our drinks sitting on the bar for 15 minutes before we asked if could take our own drinks to the table. We had been there an hour- we had to ask to order our food. Due to taking so long we asked if the 2 year old pizza could go in straight away and arrive when ready - another 30 minutes later we saw the pizza sitting on the side and asked “please could you just put that in for the child” . No complimentary nibbles or drinks offered for such a long wait . Overall we waited 1.5 hours for food

The atmosphere is good, nicely designed, staff were lovely. Pizza was a bit too salty for my taste.

What a friendly ,cosy place to eat . The staff were lovely , the food was delicious. The restaurant was cute and welcoming . We would eat here again .

The food was excellent. The service was welcome and friendly, but poor on a number of levels, namely: We booked on the website, and had a confirmation email, but the staff had no record of it when we arrived; fortunately there was room. We ordered drinks and asked for some tap water, but had to ask again as it never appeared. Despite the place being only a quarter or a third full at most, and plenty of staff, the food took a good 45 minutes to arrive. I appreciate that some people want a long romantic evening, but if you have a children's menu and families, we really don't when we have hungry children. We had to ask for the bill twice. Neither person brought a bill, then the first person brought a card machine and seemed surprised we didn't have the bill that we'd asked him for and he had failed to bring! Good food, service needs serious work.

Realy enjoyed lunch, and we will definitely be going again

We were drawn to Napoli by the good number of vegan options on its menu. The restaurant itself had a nice feel about it and the serving staff were helpful. Our meal, however, was not good. We both had vegan fried gnocchi, a special of the day, and a side salad. Both were unpleasant. The gnocchi was dry, beyond chewy and near inedible. The green salad was thoroughly drowned in oil. We had side of garlic bread (best part of the meal) but combined with the gnocchi and salad, we both left half our plates. We might give Napoli another go but we will be very careful with our menu choices next time.

We nipped see a friend in leek . We love Italian, and they recommended this restaurant. Very friendly polite staff and we were blown away with the menu . We shared a few starters and one main . The starter potion sizes were huge and delicious. Pizzas and garlic bread made and cooked in house pizza oven . Ended up taking the rest home . Had a lovely meal / evening . Will be coming back

Had a lovely pizza here last week. They play really good music and it's quite loud, which really suited me. Really nice rustic, quirky decor too. Highly recommended!

Went for a weekend away and did this restaurant for my Sons 15th Birthday and Alton Towers. Arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes late from our booking time, but they were straight away very accommodating and told us it was fine and was able to seat us. When it was very busy. Drink orders came 15 minutes later and took 30 minutes just for drinks to come out. Which was very slow in my opinion, however saying this, they made me a cocktail that was not on the menu which was the best sex on the beach u ever tasted. The food we ordered straight after the drinks came. Food was again was a little slow to arrive (about 30 to 40 minutes). Food came out hot still. The food was out of this world and amazing! The service was slow but every staff member we interacted with was very friendly, polite and happy. After all this I would still recommend this restaurant. I would still give this restaurant a 4 star. Only because the service was slow but the staff and food made it up for this. A++

Our first visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was attentive and the food very good. All in an 'Italianesque' rustic setting. Lovely.

Overpriced, disappointed at choice, £4.25 for a diet pepsi poured from a £1 bottle, that's £3.25 for a slice of lemon and the use of a glass! Will not done there again

Excellent thin crusted authentic pizzas, which my husband said it was the best he had eaten for a long time. My gluten free pasta sauce was superb and my vegan Grandson enjoyed his vegan gnocchi abd vegan ice-cream. Very relaxed environment and superb staff. Will definitely visit again even as we live out of Leek itvis worth tge drive. An added bonus is the location, easy walk into the tiwn and next to a car park.

Made a wedding party amazing with fantastic pizzas, service and amazing staff

Very busy and popular restaurant. The staff work very hard here, they didn't stop and were friendly and efficient. We had the Vegetali Platter to share, which was delicious but huge! Followed by Sausage and Broccoli Macaroni and Seafood Linguine both delicious, again generous portions. Would highly recommend.

Seated for 7:05, very very slow service. Waited a while for someone to take a drink order and again for food order. Definitely a place that favourites larger tables. When we was finally seen, we was told pizzas might be a little longer as everyone had been ordering pizzas. Ordered a focaccia bread with dips as a starter. Young waitress spent most of the time wondering around looking if anyone wanted more drinks than actually clearing tables. We had been there an hour with no sign of a starter, surely it's known to every establishment a starter should be something you can get quickly out.. apprentently not. We went to the bar to pay for our drinks so we could actually get some food. We explained we was going to pay for the drinks because the food was just taking too long. The manager then preceded to tell us we had ONLY been waiting 26 minutes, bare in mind we was seated just at 7, we had been there an hour, it was still not in the oven. Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't go again. Maybe the owner should rethink the menu, and clearly retrain their staff on customer service skills.

Excellent food and service, have never been before this time but will most definitely be going again! The staff make you feel welcome, update you on food times, are very attentive, the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed, highly recommend the bread and olives for starter! Everything was 10/10

In all honesty, not great 8 of us 4 Adults 4 Kiddies. And nobody finished the mains. Pasta and meatballs were a little spicy for kids. The pizza was bland and watery no seasoning. Sadly just underwhelming experience after looking forward to an Italian meal. Pizzas should be on point at the prices expected more than watered down base ( or whatvtasted like, as I have a pizza oven at home we understand what minimum should taste like) sorry to be blunt, just being honest as in all my reviews

My first visit here, the whole evening was perfect 👌 very attentive staff, very very tasty food, lots of variety, you watch your pizza being made and cooked. The staff are very willing to "tweak" dishes to personal preference. Great selection of drinks, cocktails too. Really lovely atmosphere, music softly playing, but absolutely alive with laughter and chitter chatter. We were a party of six, but the whole place was full. We had booked in advance.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for food at all - I would suggest swerving it. I don’t think a single person who was serving us smiled the whole time we were there, look I get it, it’s work but we are paying customers and were celebrating a special birthday for my sister. I was SO disappointed that I dragged everyone there, it’s not like it’s a cheap place to go for food either! I had a pasta dish which was very mediocre and it’s actually shameful that I had to add extra salt just to give it some flavour. The garlic bread was nice but that was about it really, it carried on going downhill from there. The deserts are priced at £6.95 each and it was a birthday so I suggested why don’t we all have a pudding? I wish I hadn’t bothered. It was all frozen not prepared fresh or homemade etc which is my first grumble, because I think if you are literally pulling it out of a packet it is minimal effort. I could possibly forget the Iceland cheapo style puddings if it weren’t for a dirty long blonde hair in my poor sister’s chocolate cake! She is such a sweetheart that she didn’t actually want to say anything but we said that she must and when she did the lady said she would just ‘take it off the bill’ and took it away she didn’t offer a replacement or any kind of real heartfelt apology she just couldn’t be bothered with us at all. It is very possible that I had wound her up previously though by asking why my cheesecake was frozen and she said ‘it’s an ice-cream cheesecake’ which I must add that the ice-cream part wasn’t in the description on the board, she did offer to replace that but I took her explanation and gave my pudding to my sister in the end to console her for the loss of her chocolate fudge cake. I can only assume that the blonde haired woman who served us was the owner or manager by the way she was. If that is how you wish to run your business then I’m afraid I for one certainly will not be returning and will also make sure I let other people know. It takes NOTHING to smile and put at least a bit of enthusiasm into what you’re doing, the vibes were totally off in that place and if my manager was giving that energy, I don’t think I would stick around. I wish we had waited and gone to Roberto’s up the road instead or Duck Goose.

Lovely lunch... The sandwiches were yummy, the staff were super friendly with our children and there was some amazing live music too!

I love this Italian it's one of my favourite places to go out to eat in Leek. The food is amazing and I would definitely recommend.

We had a late Sunday lunch here with family and friends. A few of us had starters all of which were very tasty, but have an appetite, or ask for it to be boxed and have it for luncheon the following day as we did. The pizzas were fabulous. Cooked in a wood fired pizza oven in view of the tables. Service was good and the ambiance was just what you want. Worth the 2hr drive and we would be a regular if we lived a little closer. But we will return.

Nice atmosphere. Ignored by young man on bar when we arrived. Felt food was overpriced for a pasta dish and pizza. Over salted. Goats cheese pizza missing goats cheese and olives.

Went to this restaurant on valentines, had lovely meal. Can recommend the Napoli special pizza with avocado, the rosemary and garlic potatoes and mixed salad all lovely fresh ingredients with the chef preparing and cooking in front of you in the huge pizza oven.

Brought my gran and mum here when they came to visit me and had a lovely time! It’s tricky to find places that are equally good for vegans and meat eaters but we all found the food incredible! The servers were so lovely and patient, the whole restaurant felt very calm - will 100% be coming back!

I was visiting my daughter and her partner for a few days and they took me to this restaurant for dinner on Friday night. It was wonderful . The staff were so helpful and friendly . We were not rushed and the ambience was lovely . The food was first rate ---- my Wild Boar lasagna was the best I have ever tasted . Prices seemed reasonable and a good time was had by all. Would certainly go again when next in the lovely town of Leek. Graham

Husband had a rare Friday night off (he’s a chef!) so we called here & they managed to get us in! Lovely restaurant, the salmon I had was delicious, fillet steak looked yummy too. Daughters pepperoni pizza was very nice too. We took it home! The staff were very friendly. 10/10 - would go again!

We had yet another stunning meal at The Napoli. Our fave place to eat. I had stuffed chicken and my hubby had duck. Soooo good. Great atmosphere with live music on that particular evening. Had a fantastic time.

Good buzz, friendly staff, food was ok nothing amazing (pizza seemed better choice on our table). But oh my goodness it was slow service, and I would recommend avoiding the cocktails. Warm Margaritas with no salt on the rim didn't really float our boat.

Visited the Napoli for the first time on a Saturday evening. Group of 6. Please was busy, and were sat at table immediately. Food service was slow, taking about an hour. Food was average, a bit pricy for what it is. Overall, Not a placed I’ll be going back to.

Hi, we went there for dinner with some friends. The place has a great ambiance and the staff were very good. We had several dishes all were ok but not top quality especially the pasta. If I was to return I would try the pizzas which looked good. The place was clean.

The food was absolutely gorgeous. Red hot and so tasty. We are so lucky to have such a great restaurant in our little town.

We visited for a birthday lunch and, never having been before, didn’t really know what to expect. The restaurant is not situated in the centre of Leek and although it was reasonably busy, it wasn’t too crowded. Throughout our meal, the service was excellent; attentive, but we never felt rushed. My wife had a spaghetti dish, my son had a pizza, and I had tagliatelle with Gorgonzola, mushrooms and truffle oil (see photograph) All were well presented and were absolutely delicious. We will definitely return and, if you’re in Leek, I recommend that you give it a try, too.

A liitle cramped + we had to move to another table after 10 minutes. Otherwise excellent and well worth a visit 👍

Lovely food and a great atmosphere.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. All pizzas are baked in an authentic wood-fired oven. They were really tasty. The service was also super friendly! Fun, tasty and definitely recommended.

Excellent service and attention to detail.

Fabulous food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The food was superb quality and at a reasonable price. Everything is freshly prepared so individual requests are easily accommodated. There’s a great vegan menu including cheese alternatives and dessert options. The calzone I had was incredible! There was an inclusive kids menu too and my daughters pasta was really tasty. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be making regular trips.

Ordered a pizza and mushroom pasta. The pizza was amazing, very tasty. The mushroom pasta was pretty mediocre. Italian beer, very nice. Tiramisu and pistachio ice cream 10/10. The atmosphere was great and the people waiting on us were really friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault them. The (I assume) manager was abit off, abit rude. I don't know if she was just having a stressful day but that's the only thing that let the experience down x

Attractive and tasty food from a reasonably wide menu. The atmosphere was good, not too busy, not too quiet and the interior was spacious enough to accommodate everyone. Looks good for a date or a relaxed group or family meal.

I’ve been here a few times and love bothe the pizzas and the vibe. The staff are friendly but it’s mainly the great pizzas that’s the draw. Choice of drinks is good enough too. The decor is to my taste so certainly happy with that. Will come again, often.

The attractive exterior of The Napoli and prospect of pizza led to us booking an evening weekday meal. Generous and tasty appetisers and sides, particularly the olives and side salad. The mains were all good prices and large portions. We both got a Calzone which we were very excited for. However, we were surprised that the filling was mostly raw ingredients which hadn't been pre cooked and didn't have time to in the wood oven. This meant that other than the dough, the mains lacked any real taste. The tomato side sauce was very watery, lacking overall taste and didn't amp up the calzone. Overall it was a bit of a shame but has potential. Some staff were really nice and it's also next to the main car parking in Leek town centre which is free after 3pm !

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. A buzzy atmosphere, really cozy but energetic and vibrant. The staff were lovely, working really hard, smiling and staying upbeat throughout a really busy evening. The food was delicious. Tagliatelle with mushroom and gorgonzola is sensational! Highly recommended if you are in Leek.

Generous portions of food which was lovely. Good atmosphere. Service a little slow but nothing major. Seats uncomfortable. My dish of mushroom pasta was way too rich so I couldn't finish but the starter was perfect. Wine really good. I would definitely go back but armed with a pillow and avoiding the creamier dishes.

I come here quite regularly and always have pizza or pasta. Seen as this was a birthday meal, i ordered the steak and i'm so glad i did! It was cooked perfectly and all the accompaniments went down a treat. I swapped the chips for the garlic roasted potatoes and peppercorn sauce-excellent!! I will defo order this again. Service is always polite and attentive, which keeps me coming back :)

Fantastic! Staying in Leek for Alton Towers, and stumbled across The Napoli while googling local restaurant options. Food was excellent, great service - altho maybe a touch slow.

The most luxurious Herb Chicken Tagliatelle that you could imagine. Perfectly cooked, and delicious flavour. They were extremely busy, but the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

What a wonderful place to go and eat. The place was very welcoming and friendly and we chose a mixture of different things to start, the food was cooked brilliantly and was delicious. But the star of the show was the salmon special with the most incredible garlic potatoes. Wine was great too. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Great pizza and beer available from a local brewery. Good service.

Nipped in here on Saturday, didnt book and although they was fully booked up the found me and my daughter a 90 min slot. Lovely food, atmosphere and service. Next time im in Leek I'll definitely be back again.

Beautiful restaurant - Staff were fabulous and made my Dads 80th birthday treat one to remember ( video of the whole restaurant singing Happy birthday was amazing) The food, drinks and level of service was excellent . Thank you team Napoli.

A lovely place for freshly cooked pizza, calzone and pasta dishes. Good service from attentive staff. You can see most of the food being prepared and cooked in the brick-built oven in the seating area. The only negatives for me were that the chairs were slightly hard and the tables are also a little bit too close together - resulting in being uncomfortably close to other customers. There should also be more detail on the ingredients of dishes, my friend had a bad reaction to their spinach side dish as we didn't know it contained cream. However, this being said, the food was all very tasty, we would all definitely return!

Dreadful service. We ended up leaving before the main course arrived nearly an hour and a half after our starter!!!

Made a wrong choice from the menu. . Should have had a pizza.

Amazing food as usual but the worst anniversary meal out I've ever had. We waited over an hour for food while two couples and two parties got their food before we did. One of the couples that arrived after us had eaten and left way before we got our food. My food arrived first and my husband's 10 minutes later and his pizza was not fully cooked. It's clear we were forgotten. The servers were very apologetic and we appreciate being offered free desserts. However, we were disappointed that the manager/owner did not come to speak to us himself. This experience ruined our anniversary evening.

This is a lovely dainty restaurant in the heart of Leek. The food was cooked freshly and tasted divine. The vegan platter was extremely delicious with a substantial selection. Good value for money. A very nice man showed a gesture of goodwill and Thanksgiving, and I applaud him 👏

Napoli has everything. Fresh food, cooked to order. Expect a little wait but its worth it and reassuring that all is cooked fresh. Brilliant service and atmosphere good for intimate dining and larger groups. Has it all.

Friendly staff, great service and the pizza was amazing. However when we went to order dessert there were no prices on the dessert menu. We ordered two cheesecakes and were given two chocolate tarts instead. When we told staff we thought we’d been given the wrong dessert they took it back and came back with another dessert which they insisted was cheesecake but I’m 99.9% sure was tiramisu. Was delicious just not what I ordered. Would visit again for the pizza but would skip dessert.

Booked a table for four people, but already from the start, we had to order our own drinks at the bar and take them round ourselves to our table. It took a while for our food orders to be taken, and then it was a rather long wait for our starter to come, so we ordered more drinks only to have the wrong ones brought over to us (at least this time they brought them round). The music was rather loud on top of many people being there, so it made it rather impossible to speak to everyone at our own table (don't get me wrong we're not hard of hearing or anything). Lastly, out of the four main meals that were ordered, one was a salmon special, which was served extremely salty, and all of us at the table can vouch for this as we all tasted it and agreed. The only positive that came out of our experience that night was that the salty meal was refunded, and we had a friendly waitress. All in all, my first experience was not great 😕
