The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

This is pur second visit since this fantastic place has re started its BYO Friday and Saturday Evening Resteraunt again. Food is super fresh! Pizzas are incredible! Excellent value 2 or 3 course fixed price options across the menu. Ambiance great, front of house excellent. What can I say, just get back down to those who used to go to the Evening Resteraunt BYO and to those who haven't been yet, try it! We will be back again very soon.

Highly recommend, great fresh pizza cooked in front of you and ready in 5 minutes. Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Atmosphere was great with the back drop of music, whilst we played games and enjoyed the food. Darts as well was a bonus

We ordered a takeaway from here on Saturday night. Margaretta and a seafood one. Both were cooked to perfection and we had garlic bread as well, which perhaps was a little dry. The staff were friendly and the restsurant clean. Added bonus it has a gin bar opposite and thats where we waited for them. We would go back.

This is a family run restaurant where the food is made to order with love and care. Our lovely host Laura always has time for a quick chat. The ingredients are fresh with a wide range to choose from and they even have gluten free pasta. The Golden Pyramid is, according to my partner the best desert he’s ever had in his life! Always popular but if you dine early, say 6pm you can get a table. We couldn’t get a spot on Valentines Day though as it was packed. It just shows how good the food and atmosphere is.

Visited with friends who’ve been desperate to try for quite a while. Was there early evening last night and was nearly empty but soon started to get a little busier by the time we left. Fantastic range of drinks. Stout was lovely but a little too cold for us. Stout shouldn’t be freezing. Other lagers and low alcohol beer was very good too. Last night was a cold night and it was a little cool in there despite a log burner that needs to be kept better stocked to throw out heat. We were all very cold but went with it. We had chicken burritos which were plentiful and packed tight with filling. Downside was they were all cold. If they were hot I would score them 10/10. Sadly they were 6/10 because of this. Cajun fries were good too. And hot. The team there were very friendly and will certainly be back. Maybe when the weather cheers up!

Visited the bar in Chichester at the Ghost at the Feast. The Aperol and Limoncello spritz both tasted of sea water and where totally undrinkable. When brought to the attention of the staff they replied that's the recipe and refused to remake the drinks.

Beautiful food, brilliant location and fantastic staff. Our Nan holds a special place in her heart for the chef who always comes out to say hello to her. The two waitresses are always accommodating and delivery top notch customer service. The food has always been nothing short of amazing! Children love it here too. Will always be our favourite Italian in the area. Must visit in hungerford!

The problem with this place is the manager. My friend has Parkinsons disease which makes speech very difficult. She was told by the manager to get out because she was drunk. She only drinks Coke. She was in tears and I gave the manager a piece of my mind. The manager insulted my other friend saying he is too fat, and banned him saying he didn't want him here. He patronises customers, saying that you have to sit here, insulting them by pointing at tables. His pizzas are small thin and inconsequential at an enourmous price, over £20. The manager is stark raving mad, charging up and down the tiny seating area talking to himself and making hand signs. This guy is a bully to his young staff who are amazing in their manners and attentiveness. Many customers complain, but are ignored because that guy is arrogant. there are many pizza places in the area where you will get friendlier and more respectful service.

On of the best pub Sunday lunches in Sussex, topped with excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble , will definitely be back

The welcome was first rate. I’m guessing that there was a little problem with staff communication. The young lady who served our drinks was struggling, as some of our party had to wait some time. The food came out at roughly the same time. We were a party of 21. Food. The mixed grill. You couldn’t fault the amount of mixed meats. Lamb and beef, I asked for rare and was told that it couldn’t be done as the meats were cooked in a “package”. The meats came out universally “well done. It seemed to me that they were fairly new to the business and training new staff at the same time. My wife and I, intending returning as a couple next year. Given the amount of effort they’re putting in, I hope they succeed.

What a super little pizza joint! Great atmosphere, superb traditional pizza, and cold beer…. Attentive service from Leah made our visit super special!! (PS. Ask for a Limoncello after the pizza!)

Amazing coffee and Banbury cakes, service with a smile sold out of an amazing van! Well worth a visit!
