What a super little pizza joint! Great atmosphere, superb traditional pizza, and cold beer…. Attentive service from Leah made our visit super special!! (PS. Ask for a Limoncello after the pizza!)

Last week we visited Panormus Pizzeria on Albert Road. I'd never heard of this place before so was keen to try it out as pizza is one of my favourite things to eat. I'm not joking when I say this place absolutely blows your standard pizza places out of the water, the quality of the pizzas are next level and I can confidently say that this is the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life 🤯 now that is a bold statement coming from me as I've tried pizza in a lot of different places (including Rome in Italy!) but this pizza honestly hit different 👏 The first thing I did when I got home was look them up on Just Eat to make sure they deliver to my house as this is 100% my go to pizza place from now on. We had... 🍕 Cheesy Garlic Pizza Bread 🍕 Genovese Pizza (pesto & cherry tomatoes) 🍕 BBQ Chicken Pizza 🍕 Parmesan Fries 🍕 Rocket Salad with Burrata Cheese 🍕 Homemade Tiramisu The cheesy garlic bread was the perfect starter as it was fully loaded with cheese & full of flavour. The parmesan fries were hot, crispy and salty and the rocket salad was fresh and crisp. I'd not tried burrata cheese before but will definitely be having it again as it was creamy & delicious. The pizzas were absolutely perfect, the owner and chef, Vincenzo, was born in Naples in Italy and his slogan of "made the Italian way" really shines through. The hand stretched dough was golden and crispy and the toppings were generous. The tiramisu was absolutely gorgeous, you can really tell its homemade and not just out of a packet. The prices here are so reasonable too, especially given the quality of the food. So next time you fancy pizza forget about the chain stores and head to/order from Panormus Pizza I PROMISE YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Albert Road not Middle Street. Fantastic Napoli pizza. Just the right amount of anchovies and capers. The Margarita and veggie also delicious. Amazing crisp, light proper pizza base. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.

I had a very tasty Capricciosa Pizza with high quality ingredients and a real authentic Italian feel. It's a nice little restaurant and we received friendly and attentive service. Not a huge menu, but when the pizza is done this well I don't think that matters. Mouth-wateringly delicious Tiramasu as well!

Myself and colleagues love this place we go once a week whilst on Business in Portsmouth. Not just the best Pizza in Portsmouth but best I’ve had in UK, well done to Vince. We get proper looked after here by Mel and Harnia.

Ordered as a delivery - while the ingredients were good (garlic bread, potato wedges, pesto pizza) - the food was soooo salty - I’ve had salt n vinegar crisps less salty. I’m guessing the chef is baking the pizza base with salt to get a good bake - trust me - it was insane levels of salt! So I feel generous with the three stars. Someone needs to eat the output and check the flavour levels.

As a family of 4 we chanced upon this place on a busy Saturday night before a show at the Kings. It is a small restaurant but you get a warm welcome on arrival in a restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was amazing, we all loved our pizzas and the sides were also great too. We paid about £20 per head for food and drink which seemed very reasonable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon. A real hidden gem.

Asked for non alcoholic lager. None . Just soft drinks. Asked for garlic bread to come out with pizzas, it didnt. 15 minutes earlier. The pizzas though are average at best. Service is ok but friendly. Would we go back , probably not. Lots of choice on Albert Road when like us you are going to Kings Theatre.

Called to this place with my autistic son, this being the 2nd eat out meal of our visit to Portsmouth. I wanted to try something different as we had an Indian the day before. We arrived about 8pm and there weren't that many people in so no problems finding a seat although my son decided he wanted to sit outside even though it was a bit on the nippy side. We ordered a Funghi calzone and a Tuna pizza along with two sets of fries and as a treat for my son Tiramisu, this all came to £38, (There was no charge for the water we had). When they arrived they were huge. The chips were don't really well but just a bit too much on the salty side. I managed to finish my pizza but we had to ask for a box to be able to take some of my sons away as he needed to leave room for the sweet dish.

Authentic Napoli pizzas in a lovely setting run by Italians. What’s not to love?! We had pepperoni which was awesome. We’ll definitely be back.

Panormus pizzeria in my opinion makes the best pizza in the surrounding area. The service is fast and reliable, the quality is guaranteed at a very convenient and more than fair price. Whether you order it through delivery, take away or dine in, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely order my pizza from Panormus every weekend and recommend everyone to try it

Booked here for Mother’s Day, having never visited before. I would highly recommend from the point of view of the food being delicious but unfortunately the service let it down and the lack of attention to detail with a relative (a child) who was Coeliac. The service was incredibly slow (albeit appreciate it was Mother’s Day) to the extent we had to follow up for our dessert as family members had to leave by the time the desserts finally came. My Mum’s dessert was also forgotten and we also had to follow up on this (granted they did take money off of the bill, as I requested, to account for this). The waitresses also changed throughout, meaning that there was a breakdown in communication as to who the Coeliac customer was when the waitresses were serving the table. This caused my family unnecessary stress on what was supposed to be a nice family meal out. We had pre-warned the restaurant of the only child in our booking being Coeliac and submitted pre-orders, as requested, but there was some confusion with one of the waitresses on the day itself. I would come here again for food (perhaps on a quieter day) but would not come again with the relative who was Coeliac as it unfortunately put doubts in our minds as to attention to detail. Given we paid nearly £200, we just expected a little more.

A welcoming atmosphere in a cosy setting and very attentive staff who are perfectly pleasant and clearly passionate about their industry. Most importantly the food has an authentic Italian taste and is deliciously good. Portion sizes are generous and if anything in my opinion underpriced, certainly reasonable. Definitely a restaurant to put on your list in the Southsea area. Thank you for lovely evening.

What a treat! When you’re sick of chains owned by private equity firms squeezing the last bit of profit out of their establishments and you want real food made by real people then this little gem might well be the place for you. We went for dinner and enjoyed tasty salad, bruschetta, pizza and desert with good wine and proper coffee in a quaint setting with excellent service. We’ll be back.
