We had two outstanding curry meals - pave steak and pork/prawn both with copious tiffin accompaniments - absolutely delicious - paired with ice cold rose and super friendly service Book, go and enjoy..!

What a treat! Pizza to die for!! Great selection, prepped and cooked in front of your eyes in an impressive wood fired oven. Fully licenced. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be going again. Bravo!

I was luck enough to get 2 seat at the ‘pay what you want’ evening. I can honestly say it did not disappoint! 8 individuals sat round a table, enjoying wonderful food. A brilliant concept! Each dish was carefully thought out and tasted insane. Alex and Laurel were easily able to cater for my gf needs along with the normal secret menu! I will be ordering take out soon so I can share their amazing food with my Husand. Checkout their website and get your name in the hat for one of these brilliant evenings!! Absolutely faultless can visit; service, food and atmosphere were delightful. The risotto special was wonderful and the tilapia and haddock was the best meal I can remember eating. Give these guys your money, do not miss this spot!

Wow, what a find, a great family run Italian in Old Town Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, near to our lovely hotel Victoria Lodge. The food was amazing, freshly cooked. Mum had chicken with aubergine and I had lamb with an amazing mint sauce, served with fresh vegetables perfectly cooked. We were also so well looked after front of house by Summer. Thank you Amici for a lovely meal, we will be back.

The welcome was first rate. I’m guessing that there was a little problem with staff communication. The young lady who served our drinks was struggling, as some of our party had to wait some time. The food came out at roughly the same time. We were a party of 21. Food. The mixed grill. You couldn’t fault the amount of mixed meats. Lamb and beef, I asked for rare and was told that it couldn’t be done as the meats were cooked in a “package”. The meats came out universally “well done. It seemed to me that they were fairly new to the business and training new staff at the same time. My wife and I, intending returning as a couple next year. Given the amount of effort they’re putting in, I hope they succeed.

Had a fantastic meal here as a group of 5, delicious food and attentive staff! Really enjoyed the seafood pasta and wine choices!

The worst and soggiest calamari fritti I have ever had served, with overlarge salad and no dressing. Large dog carpeted the floor. Italian version of Mrs Overall waited on, in character. Huge rectangular comedy plate dwarfed the already tiny tables. My Italian relatives will not be coming here.

Delicious meal at Amarcord on NYE. I had been craving Lasagne all day, and it did not disappoint - it really was good and clearly homemade (the only kind of good Lasagne in my opinion). Meaty, saucy and so so cheesy!! Nice hint of oregano and the bruschetta on the side was plentiful and fresh. My Partner had Pizza which was very well made, nice pillowy crust and none of the dreaded soggy bottom that ruins Pizza for us. Friendly service, good wine and Prosecco in a relaxed environment and at a very reasonable price. Another great Restaurant in Ventnor. Thank you Fabio & team!

Excellent pizzas at Freshwater Bay, eaten by the Travelling Tavern on a sunny evening. Difficult to beat! Great price too. Highly recommended.
