1st class food this place never disappoints.

Lasagna is particularly sour to my taste. The crab pasta was decent by comparison, but mediocre. It's hard to imagine how little the price gives, especially the crab meat, which I feel is not as much as three small crab legs. It is better to go to the seaside to eat, the seaside lasagna quantity is large and not particularly sour, and the price is suitable. The most important thing is that the food is very slow, no one takes care of us, and the checkout is very slow

Only on the IOW for a week, but had to come back for a second taste. Both times delicious food, dessert wasn't as soaked as I would of liked, rather dry. But I realise some may prefer it that way.

Amazing food! We had the tagliatelle dishes, loads of prawns. The sauce was beautiful. Shame there wasn't more pudding choices but the mains where so nice it didn't worry us. Highly recommended

Very nice restaurant. Food was delicious and reasonabley priced. I got a pizza and it was fantastic! It is fairly oily, so if that's something you don't like maby don't get the pizza. Yet I really enjoyed it. I also had cake and it was apsaluteley devine. I really recommend this restaurant

Had a lovely meal on Friday evening. All three of us enjoyed our dishes - and my husband is very particular - so it must have been good. They had two different Seabass dishes. I had a skewer which consisted of scallops, prawns, veg etc with a delicious lemony sauce (even had to ask for a spoon as didn't want to waste a drop). Attentive staff, lovely food, what's not to like. Well worth a visit, give it a try.

An unpretentious little restaurant that has a great family feel and serves awesome Italian food. My wife and I had the Capasanta to start and it was fabulous. We had the Marinara and Napoli pizzas for main and they were incredibly good too. Really impressed.

We are here in as holiday a group of 5 people we choice filet steak with veg and potatoes was all perfect the steak was cooked perfect and the price is perfect 25£ each !!!

We were the only diners on a Sunday evening - we think they opened just because we wanted to make a booking. Service was friendly and prompt. We had arrived in town after a long day so settled for main courses and no wine. My wife had lamb in creamy mint-sauce which was excellent - generous portion and tender lamb. I had the house special which was pasta with monk-fish tails. Although very tasty I felt the fish was hard to find - I did mention this. Unfortunately they were not planning to open any during the rest of our stay as we would have liked to have revisited for a full meal.

It was our lucky day when we were able to dine at Amici. The staff were brilliant, the food was incredible and the whole experience was faultless. Don’t miss an opportunity to eat here - we’re going back tomorrow night - it is excellent.

Ate here twice while on holiday, both times great food, service and ambience. Very friendly staff, not in your face but there when needed. Could do with a restaurant like this where I live!

We happened to pass while walking. What a gem of a place. Angelo made us feel so welcome, the menu is varied with something for everyone. It was a busy night and service was spot on. Most interesting was the number of Italians eating there. That says it all.

Me and my friend came here the other night for dinner and it was beyond fantastic, we were meant to go in October time but sadly when we arrived, the restaurant was shut when we booked the table, any way, we went again and it was just amazing, the staff were lovely, friendly and the food was perfect, thank you for your kindness at the end of the meal regarding our last visit, we really enjoyed the lemon cellos at the end! will see you again soon!

Brilliant Italian restaurant, very good menu . Far more than the usual pasta and pizza. I had a lovely shellfish kebab . Service was amazing especially as the restaurant was full. I have booked again. I would suggest booking as they seem to fill up

We really enjoyed our meal here The king prawn skewer in particular was a lovely surprise, although a few more vegetables would have been welcome. Lasagna was tasty with accompanying salad. It was a busy Thursday night, so we were lucky to get in despite our booking not being found. Enjoyable meal overall

My family and I visited last night while on holiday on IoW. Fantastic pizzas and service. Lovely stone baked thin crust pizzas and toppings. We will definitely come again next time we are in the area.

Popped in by chance at 17.30 hrs on Saturday evening to see if I could book a table for 10 people. Rebecca was very friendly and accommodating. She managed to get us in. Food and service was tip top. Pizzas, mixed grill, steaks, veal dishes, pasta all lovely. Great place, thoroughly recommended and Rebecca’s family are lovely. Thank you Rebecca. Service and food very good we were well looked after found us a table without any problem nice tender lamb skewer and the ravioli Norma was very good. Portion sizes were ok and overall excellent value, we will go back to try the fish and meat dishes

A very basic Italian, nothing impressed food was ok , service was ok , never been given a aperol spritz in a small wine glass or without a orange slice and without ice but they were very busy so lots of others must like it

Awful experience, food was awful, I asked what they recommended and it was bland the pancetta was rubbery and the pasta sauce was terrible and very oily, the pizza was burnt at the crust and very oily. Staff were not attentive and didn’t check back to see that we were not enjoying their food, drinks list very small and wine list was very poor. Over priced for you can make a lot better at home.

absolutely delicious! Calzone pizza with choice of 3 fillings was the best tasting ever. Staff friendly and food arrived promptly and hot and place is lovely and clean. Will definitely be back next year!

Over priced and bland! had scallops to start which were served on what I can only describe as a flying saucer! 2 scallops which were not fresh like stated on the menu and 2 overcooked prawns for £12 Then the main, I had tiger prawns and they came on one of those stupid hanging kebab things hanging over a bowl of bland tomato water with a hint of spice. The prawns had not been cleaned properly and had a gritty poo pipe still in. Which came with a tiny bowl of French fries. You get more in a McDonald's happy meal. If I remember rightly that was £18 oh and a warm 330ml Moretti for £4.20 just topped it off! I could tell you more about my wife's meal but I think you will get the picture from this review. The kids did say the pizzas were nice so I tried a piece and it was this was the Only redeeming factor from our evening at this restaurant. Sorry can I add I tipped the young waitress as she was fantastic which is why service got 5 stars! Can I just say I do this with a heavy heart as a small business owner but They need to address this!

We had lovely seats at the front of the restaurant by the window. It was busy here during the fringe. My friend had the creamy crab tagliatelle. This was really good, I had the seafood pasta in white wine sauce. I would have swapped to a creamy pasta or pizza. The staff were friendly. The food was brilliant the best I’ve had outside of Italy and France. They have a limited vegetarian options. They don’t say vegan on the menu but they can do vegan options. The drink are cans and bottles and one pod coffee machine however I really loved the food.

A nice overall experience. We did have an issue with a glass of wine, but it was quickly rectified. The pizzas were tasty. Not too heavy on flavour but played nice on the palate. The server (brother of the owner) was incredibly accommodating, considering we walked in off the street. He made room for us, and was nothing but welcoming and helpful ensuring we had a nice meal. The pasta dishes are also very good. I shall return when I come back to the island. Thank you!

Such an amazing night here. We came for my partners 21st as we are visiting the island and had such a surreal experience. It was one of the owners birthdays as well so after we had finished our meal and were the only people in the restaurant, he bought out his cake for himself and my partner to blow the candles out together, whilst playing happy birthday and then shared the beautiful Italian cake with us all. Such above and beyond service!!

Not really much of an atmosphere with plain-looking decour and contemporary Italian pop playing on the speakers. I echo previous reviews on here - the Pizza and Garlic Bread were both delicious and good value for money. The Pasta, however, was a tiny (like, starter sized!) portion with extremely steep pricing (£16!).

We tried to eat here a couple of days back without a booking. We were seated with the advice that the table would be needed for another booking at 7.30. At first we took this to be unwelcoming but, to be fair, it was probably just addressing a 'practicality'. Anyway we said 'no problem' and ordered a pizza each and Italian beer. My pizza was possibly the nicest I have ever had. Sadly, neither of us could eat the whole of our pizzas. Efficient service and good value.

We visited twice during our week long stay on the Island and although we didn’t book, the owner and his staff managed to fit us in. The food was fantastic and I don’t understand anyone complaining that the portions were small…they were huge!! The staff were excellent didn’t stop rushing around and the food was served piping hot. I would thoroughly recommend Amici for families and couples alike, it’s lovely to visit a restaurant where the staff really care about the experience of their guests!

End of March 2023 Just had the delight of finding this restaurant, whilst on holiday here. We are a small family party of 3, but we're greeted really warmly and friendly, given choice of table area. The menu has some classic choices, but also some fresh sounding local infusion of produce. The food itself was served hot, beautifully presented and tasty as you could wish for. The quality of the food was exceptional
