Food was absolutely amazing prawns for starters which most of us had were gorgeous, calamari was cooked perfectly. Mains x3 was pasta all different all said how lovely it was 2 of which were kids, I had lamb shank KLEFTICO wow 👌 11 out of 10

From the outside it looks quite unassuming, and you could be forgiven for missing it - trust me, don't! The food is excellent, good size portions of fresh well prepared produce that certainly doesn't disappoint. However, the service is even better (if that's possible) than the food. Friendly, attentive without being intrusive, nothing is too much trouble and whilst you might arrive as strangers you'll leave as friends. The prices are very reasonable too for what you're getting, we were certainly happy. I'd only have one sad note, and it's certainly not the fault of the owners. In the winter they offer an amazing £10 deal on one or two days, not untrasonably they don't do this in the peak summer season and some people seem to get upset about this. Frankly I think they're doing a nice thing for locals, or anyone else, when it's quiet, but sadly some people are trying to demand it as a right. Be sensible and give the guys a chance to make a living ! Definitely give here a visit if you're in Ryde.

I must give a big thumbs up for Crazy's restaurant in Ryde; the venue for our anniversary meal last night. The table was beautifully prepared, complete with balloon, an anniversary card and a box of Belgian chocolates. The food and the extremely attentive service was sublime and I can't wait to return. I heartily recommend it to you all.

My partner and I had dinner here last night and we were both pleasantly surprised, the food and service were excellent, I would recommend Crazy’s.

My hubby booked this restaurant as we were staying in Ryde for 4 nights for my birthday. Out of all 4 restaurants we visited this was by far the best. I had bruschetta to start followed by penne pollo and the flavours were sublime. My hubby’s main dish of Kleftico was also delicious, the lamb was so tender it just fell away from the bone. The portion sizes were very generous, so much so that we didn’t have room for dessert sadly. The table was decorated for my birthday which was also a nice touch, something which went amiss with the other 3 restaurants. It was quiet with only 1 other couple eating the whole time we were there so it did lack a bit in atmosphere but this could be because it is in a quieter area of Ryde with not much footfall and looks unassuming from the outside, however don’t let looks deceive you as it is a must try when in Ryde.

Me and my family went for a meal last night for my sisters birthday. Was excellent from start to finish! We had a 3 course meal. The food was incredible and the staff was brilliant too. Highly recommend

My 1st visit here, certainly won't be my last, had the sea bass, so juicy and tender, with a bit of a kick, absolutely fantastic value for money. Great service.

I have never received a better service of food than here, I ordered the carbonara and the pana cotta, both are served in record time and with very kind and welcoming staff. It’s also delicious, and closer to a more traditional carbonara. The atmosphere is great, I only think it might feel a little crowed during peak times. Overall is great, they do a main course and drink for £10 on Mondays and Thursdays which is honestly amazing

This place is amazing. After a long day touring the island Crazy's was a planned stop. The food is beautifully presented with ingredients and flavours carefully put together. The dessert omg I can honestly say the homemade cheesecake with lemon sorbet is the best I have ever had, it was light but pinging with the tart zest and the addition of coconut in the sorbet was divine. I can honestly say I have not enjoyed a meal so much in a long time. The service provided was attentive but not overly so. The staff knew their menu. If asked for their opinion it was obvious they had tried it. .... Fabulous. Without question we will be visiting Crazy's again on our next visit.

Monday night 10 quid for a main with a drink, wow 👏. Ended up having 2 meals each and a dessert, Food was brilliant I didn't need to have two meals but wanted to try different dishes . Servers are great , chef smashed it out the park 👏. Have recommended to friends to try as a right little gem . Thank you

It was lunchtime and very busy food very good and reasonable prices lovely atmosphere and staff friendly and helpful.

Booked on Easter Saturday. The website said only table I could get was 8pm which was fine but it wasn’t full when we arrived. Anyway the food was excellent, the four of us all had seafood dishes, stew and seafood marinara from the menu and a seafood pasta special. All tasted fresh and well cooked. Huge portions! Food came quickly and staff were friendly. Would have been 5 stars except for the dubious blue lights and fairy lights which feels a little like Santa crashed into a curry house. Music was a bit eclectic which im not sure added anything to the experience. Happy to support this restaurant so definitely give it a try and the food is great.

Great Italian in the heart of Ryde on the site of the old Kevlar cafe. On Mondays and Thursdays they offer a special 1 course set meal with a wine/lager/ soft drink for a tenner. We had the pork medallion served in a vegetable sauce , and spaghetti carbonara. Both were delicious and well presented, a little on the small side, but we could have added starters or desert. Buzzing and lively small venue, and every table occupied on a Monday night so I would recommend booking. Clean and nicely decorated with ambient lighting. Waiting staff were attentive, polite and welcoming. Nothing not to like. We'll be going back to try their interpretation of a Sunday roast.

We had an excellent Sunday roast yesterday. Definitely one of the tastiest Sunday dinners I have had. Loved that there was a chicken option which not many places seem to do, usually turkey. We will definitely be back.

We went there yesterday for the £10 meal offer with a wine or half pint of beer included. The food was absolutely delicious and they didn’t skimp on the portion size either. The service was excellent and there was nothing to fault.

It was not cheap, but the quality of the food and service was excellent, well worth it. Will definitely be back there soon👍

Very poor roast - bland and tasteless looked like it had been kept warm for ages and at just under £20 for one course it should have been far better. Also a very strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the restaurant spoiled the whole experience.

Got told about this by a friend and it didn’t disappoint we had the kleftiko and it was one of the best lamb dishes I have had on the island so far!!! The staff were all lovely and you could tell they enjoyed it there which really brought the whole experience together! Have already booked to come back

A “mixed” review. When the food eventually came it was excellent, but by then our experience had been tainted by having to wait some while for someone to take our order for both drinks and food, after later arriving diners had been seen to before us. We had to get up and ask for someone to take a further drinks order later in the evening. Being sat near the front door which didn’t close properly didn’t enhance the experience either. 🥶🥶🥶. It’s a shame as the restaurant had been recommended by friends.😞

Made a last minute to book a New Year Day lunch to treat a friend for a birthday. Brilliant food and service, tiramasu to die for! Not hurried by staff just a nice leisurely experience all round, thank you guys. Was here earlier in October and the experience didn't disappoint then either. Thoroughly recommend if you need a lovely venue to eat at.

Recently went here for a family Christmas dinner and all I can say is awesome. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was fast and efficient. Food was beautiful especially dessert. I would recommend crazy's to anyone. Very nice place to eat.

Food was lovely but don’t go here if you want an evening out as they want you to leave after couple hours we had no time for afters or coffees !! Very disappointing as evenings was going well until we were told we had to leave!!

Decided to try this place for my birthday meal with family. I hadn’t told them advance it was my birthday but when they found out they really made an effort to make it special. The staff were so attentive and the food was VERY good and exceeded expectations. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t busy but the ambience was fantastic. Will definitely return!

Came here for my 22nd Birthday and is most defiantly one of the best meals I’ve had on Isle of Wight, the food and flavourings was outstanding. The service was amazing, with an added touch of a birthday card and balloon I couldn’t fault a single thing!! Would defiantly come back here

This was awful. So disappointed. I ordered scallops as a starter and they were served to me RAW, COLD and FROZEN in the middle. I sent them back but it put me off my whole meal and we received no reduction in price as an apology. It was revolting. My husband had a pasta bolognaise for his main which was just very mediocre. We paid £70 for one starter and 2 pasta mains. Totally overpriced. Slow service and the staff including the owners appeared overwhelmed and unable to cope. I then had food poisoning for about a week after. I guess it was the one mouthful of frozen raw scallops that did it. I would not recommend this place.

Brilliant service, gorgeous food

Well appointed restaurant with excellent service. The food is amazing with huge portions. My wife and I visited on a Saturday night and returned on Sunday with friends. All agreed on the high quality and have vowed to return on next years IOW visit.

Being Spanish I can tell you that the flavours served at Crazy's Med Restaurant are very good. The portions are very reasonable and the staff is amazing and very attentive. The staff were fantastic, the food excellent and very nicely decorated. The waiter was brilliant and managed to source me some tzatziki that wasn't normally served with my meal. Would highly recommend checking this place out and would be ideal for couples or even special occasions. We had the fillet steak, fish cakes and he lamb shoulder that was called kleftico and they were all excellent.

We visited recently whilst staying in Ryde and the food was delicious as the service was very attentive. My only criticism is that they use scented candles on the tables……if the owners are reading this, please, please, please don’t use scented candles in a food...

We dined on Tuesday 8th August. Seafood Platter and Fish Stew, fabulous and great value. For us our best meal on the island.
