The best restaurants serving Italian food in Brighton and Hove South East

Having not been well for a while we remembered what great food we had at Galeleos So after an absence of 2 years we revisited for my first evening outing in a long time and it was great, food great, atmosphere and service. Hopefully this will again be a regular destination really is a hidden gem

Well where do you start. Just literally just left after eating calamari with alio sauce followed by penne chicken and yes had to have pudding chocolate brownie… “Food Porn” my friend had starter main and pudding which is in heard of All I c a say the restaurant is fabulous the deco is awesome and such a great find. Fui aquí por un chocolate caliente y terminé comprando un Bailey’s hot chocolate, que estaba delicioso. El servicio al cliente era genial y el personal aquí era tan encantador y acogedor. Sin embargo, el gerente era un poco poco poco profesional y parecía ser muy micro - la gestión del personal.

Doesn't seem to have a physical location/restaurant anymore like the google photos and location data suggest. Circled the block twice in the pouring rain looking for it and it just wasn't there. Seems to be a private kitchen for delivery only now.

My food was ok. My friends was cold and had a very strong aftertaste of what we think was olive oil. The music was very loud so it was not a relaxing atmosphere. The waiter took my friends dishes away before I had finished and then we realised he had taken our pot of tea as well. Won’t return.

Brilliant food we got today, my boyfriend had a sardine pizza and I got the spaghetti alla signore that the prawn is so fresh and well-seasoned. Definitely will be back when we are in town : )

If you like authentic Italian food then I encourage you to try this restaurant. We weren’t totally sure what we were going to be given but every dish was amazing and they kept coming. We left feeling well fed and satisfied. Simple wine list but the red wine we shared was delicious! The best Italian food I’ve eaten outside of Italy and the service was exceptional too, Just one piece of feedback would be that a little bit of information about what each dish is would add to the experience!

Fantastic, fresh and tasty pizzas with great vegan choices and quite reasonably priced. Excellent and fast service. They fit in quite a few tables which makes it a little cosy but they manage it well. We've enjoyed deliveries too and are never disappointed!

Stopped for a quick pizza on the way home. What an amazing experience! Amazing pizza, beautiful lasagne and warm service. Recommend!
