Tagliatella fatta a mano con sugo di pomodoro semplice , davvero straordinaria. Sembrava di stare a casa. Pulizia , servizio e gentilezza eccellenti. Tornerò per gustare la pizza che sembra buonissima. Trovare un sogno così in Inghilterra, non è facile.

Pizza was brilliant service was too, Gnocci was also good

Tasty honest food, in a down to earth restaurant, all carried off with flare and charm by the owner. There is a certain magic to it. Definitely somewhere to visit and revisit.

Incredible dining experience here, the pizza was delicious and had some great options. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was easily the best I’ve had! Really enjoyed the arancini too, can’t wait to come back soon :)

Can’t believe this place has been here 15 years & I’ve never been. Forget about CIN CIN & TUTTO this is where it’s at ! Authentic homemade Italian food the way it should be. We ordered the Arancini, Pizza Fungi & Parmigiana - all were superb we couldn’t fault a thing. Yes we are food snobs & eat out at all the top restaurants but this place is the Godfather ! It’s no thrills, don’t expect fancy seats etc… but if you’re looking for excellent Italian food you will not be disappointed. We finished with the Tiramisu & honestly it was better than the Ritz - without the price tag ! Will be returning very soon.

For years, I've passed Pronto and wondered about it. Tonight, finally, I went there with a friend. Superb Arancini as starter, followed by a perfectly cooked prosciutto e funghi pizza. The house wine was a revelation. It's small and unfussy but very, very welcoming. 2 starters, 2 pizze, two glasses of wine for £45. Worth every penny and I will undoubtedly return to sample more from the menu. 👍😊

Pronto is an excellent restaurant. The food is incredible. The best pizza in Brighton. On a very rare occasion, he has got our order wrong, or the food has taken a while. The pizza has for as long as we have known are amazing and we haven’t tried anything other than pizza, but the rest of the menu looked and sounds great. The location is great and in the middle of town, and the restaurant is very quaint. We definitely recommend

The atmosphere was very relaxed, the food fresh and made to order. Incredibly rich and flavoursome aubergine parmigiana which I’d reccomend in a heartbeat. Incredible value for money, I’d have paid more! The chap runs the place on his own so there was a small wait time but totally worth it for the lovely dishes. Would reccomend!

Italian cooking is all about the food, family and friends. You make the booking and Nino makes the best pizza ever. And that’s including what you’ll get in Italy. Extremely good valve and a friendly greeting. Nino makes you feel at home if you’ve never been you need to go there.

The food was a mixed experience. While some dishes were too salty for my taste, the seafood dish was disappointingly bland. The customer service was acceptable, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, my disappointment peaked when we received the bill. The price on the menu did not match the final bill, and to add insult to injury, the owner decided to tack on a few extra quid at the end...

I’ve been here a good dozen times now. The owner (dude with the bandana) is literally the sweetest guy ever. My friends came over to Brighton to visit and I had to show them my favourite restaurant in Hove. We came in impromptu and despite all the tables being occupied and one being reserved, the owner gave us the table (I promised we would eat quickly so that the table would be ready for the reservation). My friends loved their pizzas and this was genuinely a highlight of their time in Brighton and Hove.

A fantastic Italian restaurant just up the road from the sea. Delicious home cooking, everyone loved what they ordered: lasagna, Bolognese, vongole, Napoletana pizza. The desserts were amazing with the wonderful tiramisu deserving a special mention. It was all amazing value for money. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy. We loved it and will definitely be back each time we visit Brighton.

The most amazing and quaint Italian on a beautiful street just of the seafront. Service from Nino is perfect and chilled whilst being very efficient. Good vibes and even better dinner.

My wife and I went to Pronto in Tavola recently while in Brighton. We love going out and exploring different places outside of tourist areas and this one did not disappoint. The owner/chef is amazing. He is so friendly and nice and his food is outstanding. Not big place so recommend to book a table in advance. I had the Bolognese and it was fantastic. My wife had a pizza and it was great too. If we lived in area, it would be one of our go to places. Highly recommend and you must try it - you will not be disappointed.

What a lovely understated family centred restaurant run by a lovely guy. Food was to die for (including the tiramisu and the rum baba which we shouldn't have had because we were far too full!). And all at a really fair price!

Nino is the best authentic calabrian (Italian) chef in Brighton, definitely worth heading down to give his family run restaurant a try, very fresh and all made and prepared on site.

A little Italian place on the corner with fresh salad, delicious pasta and tiramisu that I would have eaten five plates of if no one stopped me.

How did I not know about this place. Great Pizza. My wife had Aubergine Parmigiana; fantastic. My daughter has had the gnocchi, she loved it. One guy took the order, made the food, waited the tables. It was fantastic. Go, you will not be disappointed!

This was a really good place! There was 1 man running it on his own. The pizza was amazing and the lemon dessert was amazing aswell!

Certainly the best pizza in Brighton, but also the best I've had outside of Naples. Run by a lovely Southern Italian gentleman who somehow takes orders, waits tables and cooks all on his own! Arancini and suppli are lovely, but the special pizza with Burrata mozzeralla is to die for.

This is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious- very well cooked and flavoursome. We had a house red which was also lovely. Really welcoming and friendly atmosphere- clearly popular with locals in the know. Nino has created somewhere special- you can relax and have such a lovely evening with fantastic food- bravo! And it got me through the marathon well- thanks Nino! :) highly highly recommend this spot!

We found our final verbal bill was inflated to a unsubstantiated figure by the owner. When we got the paper bill & queried it, he got very defensive. He upsold a more expensive pizza not on the menu, added £5 extra per bottle of wine & 16.5% service charge. He defended the latter by saying he opened our bottle wine for us 😂 The pizza was ok, but nothing special. One to avoid, & if you do, make sure you don't get ripped off on your final bill.

A hidden gem in Brighton. Well worth the short walk out of the main city centre for authentic, fresh, delicious Italian food. Our 3 course meal was fantastic and the service was excellent, i wish i lived in Brighton so I could come back time and time again!

I've been eating here for years. The quality and taste is second to none. Prices are excellent and the service fantastic. Not found anywhere else that is better.

We had dinner here last night and it was incredible. The best pizza we have had in Brighton. The burrata was fresh and delicious. We had starters (the arancini were great) and delicious home made desserts to finish (the lightest tiramisu). Great alue for money, really pleased to have discovered this place. Lovely service and welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Nino and his restaurant are the absolute highlights of living in Hove. The food is always excellent, the warmest of welcomes and always a very wholesome Italian experience.

I don’t recommend this place. Horrible service, extremely long waiting time (over an hour), problem with providing receipt, they have served us something we didn’t order and then charged us for it, staff ignoring customers. It’s such a small restaurant but they have terrible service and the waitress and owner are not nice.

We all loved Pronto, welcoming little restaurant, authentic and totally unpretentious. Our food and wine was faultless Can't wait to return

Delicious and authentic meal in a cosy venue. Keep in mind you must book as there's really only four/five tables Staff are friendly and young! Only thing that was lacking was that the table pepper grinders are useless and inconvenient for such a becoming Italian place.

Amazing pizza, friendly staff very good value for money

Showed up around 5pm with my husband. The restaurant was completely empty. We were told that we could have the table for 30min, which we were fine with, but then we tried to sit at a different table since the table we were given was pretty much in the way of the door where people come in and out, but the man said we couldn’t sit there since it was reserved… which fair enough, if it was a full restaurant , but we were going to be out in 20 minutes since that’s all the time he gave us in the first place… there was no music playing either which made it a bit eerie. An empty restaurant, with rude staff who clearly didn’t want us to be there and we would have rather him tell us he was fully booked for the night instead of allowing us to stay, but treat us poorly and sit in a cold and unwelcoming environment for 10 minutes before leaving and wishing we never went. I really expected more because a friend of mine recommended it…

The pasta here is just, wow. Definitely worth visiting if you want something authentically Italian.

Amazing food, amazing service. We turned up to a comedy show opposite; which was cancelled/ not on. We ended up having dinner here instead and had a wonderful time. I don’t usually leave reviews but we had such a great time and such beautiful food that it truly deserved some praise. Thanks guys!

Utterly wonderful Italian home cooking. Very unassuming but completely authentic. Only four tables inside. No more, no less, and who could ask for more?

I live locally and this pizzeria is excellent every time I go. Nino is always friendly, his pizzas are delicious and when I go to collect them always ready on time. My Italian friends have given his food the stamp of approval too!

Was excited to visit the restaurant because of good reviews. Arrived 8.45pm, ordered very shortly after - food didn't arrive until 10.10pm, and was incomplete (then had to wait another while for the missing dish - when it arrived it was clearly really hastily thrown together and wasn't what we had originally ordered). It is understandable if a place is busy (it seemed like they were spending more time fulfilling delivery orders than looking after those in the actual restaurant), but it felt like the staff didn't care about checking in with us or offering any explanation or apology. When we said we hadn't been happy with the meal the man just rolled his eyes and rudely walked off. Just a horrible experience - to be avoided.
