Absolutely delicious food and super friendly staff, they were rushed off their feet on Saturday night but so attentive and service was speedy. Great experience!

Incredible pizzas, amazing staff, especially JJ and Thomaso. They always make my kids feel so special and are so happy to accommodate my autistic son. When it was my daughter's birthday, they bought a special extra pudding with a candle and sang happy birthday. Honestly the best pizza place I've ever been to and possibly the best staff in Brighton and hove.

Hove's Fatto a Mano's is such a lovely Italian restaurant with Italian and English speaking staff. This was the best pizza I had so far in my life. Yesterday I ate here and tonight I'm taking a pizza for take away.

Probably the best pizza in Brighton. We visit a lot. Always excellent service by very friendly staff. The food is incredibly quick. Love this place. All they need to do now is a Cadburys caramel, banana and mascarpone pizza for dessert, trust me Fatto it’s to die for, you need this on your menu!

We walked over from Brighton centre all the way to this restaurant, even though there is about 5 Neapolitan pizza places on the way. Definitely worth it and we will be back. Classic, authentic flavours, perfectly cooked pizza, just like in Napoli. Tasty house pilsner which goes really well with pizza. I haven’t tried their vegan and Christmas specials but looked amazing. Prices are reasonable as well, which is not the case for many other places around.

Always great - can't fault it. And the GF dough is first class. Starters and puds are better than they read. Try halving a pizza and having three courses.

Pizza capricchiosa had way too much (very strong) tomato sauce. Cheese was barely melted and mushrooms came from a jar.

I visited as part of a large group and was really impressed with the service. Despite being busy, all of the waiting staff had plenty of time for us and our questions. I have some dietary preferences which they were very accommodating for, and I can highly recommend the gluten-free dough, I couldn’t even tell that it was any different to a “normal” pizza. It was quite busy with not many tables left despite only being a Tuesday, so I would highly recommend that you book ahead . Thanks everyone for a great meal

Lovely outdoor space. Good attention to dietary requirements - had to pay more for non-gluten base (and they can’t guarantee no cross contamination) but it’s was delicious, crunchy and chewy!

Years and years of great pizza! We’re regulars at this and their London road restaurants. Both are really good and consistent. Their Hove one is a nicer location and a welcome sight on he way home from the beach.

Dropped by on Thursday afternoon having not booked a table - this is a very popular restaurant, but we were seated after only a short wait! The food here is really reasonably priced and you get quite a lot for what you pay!! The pizzas are absolutely delicious - you can tell the toppings and dough are great quality. Our food arrived quickly after ordering despite the place being so busy. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and more than happy to help accommodate additional requests like switching toppings. We had a really fantastic waiter, but I missed their name unfortunately. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as the tables are pretty close together and it was quite loud, but otherwise 5 stars all round 😇

Authentic Italian pizza house with both indoor and street eating. Good pizza if somewhat soggy in the middle

Been coming here for years but sadly the food and service has really been pretty poor in recent visits. Last week, it took 45 minutes to get served 1 pizza and a portion of fries. We had to ask 3 different waiters for ketchup/mayo, by which time the food was stone cold. We then had to ask for the bill 3 times and eventually went up to the counter to pay. The pizzas are not a patch on what they used to be and it feels like a chain restaurant now. There are much better pizza alternatives in Brighton/Hove, with better service and superior pizza

Popped in for lunch after a dip in the sea. Sat in the sun on the front terrace. Staff where very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I didn't really fancy a pizza but I got two side dishes instead. Wow delicious. I had the bocconcini salad with pesto and the nduja arancini. Potion size was good and the flavor was fantastic. Fair prices and great quality. I would love to come back soon with friends for a longer meal. This place seems ideal for meals alone, with friends or even with children of you must.

Not safe for Coeliacs! I was delighted to see so many rave reviews of gluten free pizza, however unfortunately it is cooked directly on the oven with all glutenous pizzas (and they said it wasn’t possible to cook it on a tray or anything so it isn’t sitting on the stone). If you have a gluten intolerance then of course this is fine but otherwise there is extreme cross contamination and not suitable for anyone with Coeliac disease. Disappointing given the high incidence of Coeliacs in Italy; Italians normally are much better at understanding and catering for it.

The best Quattro Formaggi pizza!

The staff were friendly upon arrival, well staffed for how busy it was. We didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday evening and didn’t have to wait. The menu has a good range of pizza and calzone, we picked a Quattro Formaggio and a customised Margherita, with mushrooms and olives. As well as a Negroni and special cocktail, Summer spritz. We were in and out, had a great time.

Best pizza ive eaten for a long time. My partner is gluten free and their gluten free dough is amazing according to her. Staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to allergies, but overall they were very pleasant. Food is very reasonably priced,we will look forward to going back soon.

Coming here since it opened. Dough unfortunately can be too salty and very chewy. Went to pick up at takeaway pizza, arrived 10 mins before the pick up time to find pizza sitting on a plate waiting to be boxed. The box packer was very slow, and I received the takeaway and checked it for heat, it was slightly warm. Was expecting a hot pizza! Politely expressed my disappointment and asked for them to put in oven for another minute. The manager kindly offered me a new pizza but the chef who cannot handle criticism, through his toys out of his pram and was rude and very defensive. Then he found out I spoke Italian and was silent!!! I will never go back.

We went on Sunday 1/5 /22 as a party of 4 at 7.45pm and were asked to come back in 45mins by the so called lady manager.We obliged and had drinks in a nearby pub and in 10mins received a message that a table is ready and if not occupied will manager's attitude will be offered to someone's else. At the restaurant we were offered a table upstairs and requested a seating in nearby vacant table which the manager refused.All in we had the worst experience abd will not be returning here again. Probably one of the best pizzerias in Hove

Great little pizzeria with great pizzas and reasonable prices.

We found this place open in a Monday night when most of the other restaurants were closed. This place was packed & buzzing. The food is incredible! My pizza was by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. Big claim (I’ve had a few)…this was legendary. Service was quick, attentive & friendly. They had colouring sheets for the kids & even kept a necklace my youngest had lost for us so we could collect it the next day. Over all, incredible place, run by Italians with a fab atmosphere & amazing food. If there was an ability to give this a 5+ rating then I would. I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy this place as much as we did.

I live locally in Hove and try to support small local business. We eat in Fato reasonably regularly. As a family. Preferably outside in the sun. Just had late lunch. 3 of us. Have to say things appear to be going downhill a bit. As the weather is grim we ate inside. It’s looking grubby, tired and very unappealing. The blue colours are cold and miserable, worsened by the lighting which is cold and bleak. The windows were open and it was bloody freezing in there. I kept my coat on throughout and was not relaxed and warm. The windows were open and draughty and we had to move tables to avoid the draft. The colours need a revamp and refresh and something needs to add beauty, warmth and ambience inside. It’s a terrible decor. The bench seating also uncomfy and cold. Also there was no longer a tomato based side salad or even a caprese. We were offered bruschetta instead but that is not what we wanted as a salad to accompany pizza. Also the special pizza was a white pizza. But no one said and it wasn’t immediately obvious on ordering. So that wasn’t to our liking either. Partly my mistake no doubt. But responsive informative staff keep you up to speed on things like this. It wasn’t busy. Only 1 other table! So there was time for more attentive service. Also my sons pizza was watery and soggy. We do love your pizzas and know them well but lately they are often too wet, almost raw in the inner circle making it sloppy and hard to eat. Not right. Not enjoyable. Also Parma ham was not longer an option as an extra topping?? I mean whatever not?🤷‍♀️It’s not as good as before. And it needs to be. Competition is everywhere.

Pizza, venue and start are excellent

Nice people and service but the food is served tepid even when sitting in the restaurant which I understand when energy prices are on such an increase and the oven is on most of the day. But when I asked these questions politely, they didn't understand what I meant and chose not to answer....be honest with your customers and they will return, I personally shall not now....

If you have allergies then forget Fatto A Mano. My 12 year old son is anaphylactic to dairy. We’ve eaten here before with no problem. However this time the manager came over and in front of my 12 year old son said it’s company policy not to cater for anyone with allergies. She said and I quote “you can take a chance however I suggest you don’t eat here”. All said in front of my 12 year old son! How do you think that makes a child with allergies who’s already conscious of them feel? This was supposed to be a Mother’s Day night out. Still we went to Rustico on Portland Road who were brilliant! Fatto A Mano take note. Really poor ethics!

The last 3 times the pizza has consistently been delivered lukewarm and completely soggy to the point that the slice would fall apart in 2 seconds. Such a shame because the ingredients and dough are good. I'm not sure if it's because they pie is too thin in the center or because they add too much cheese/toppings on top or both.

Really good food, very poor service, starter was quickly served, Antipasto Misto, really enjoyed except no gluten free bread, then waited nearly 2hrs for our main, had to reorder as our order was lost. Again Really good food I had a gluten free Diavalo, my husband had the Nduja pizza, waitresses really rude, never apologised for their error, lovely young waiter served drinks without a problem.

Food was lovely as were the rest of the staff. Unfortunately a Lady (Eyebrow piercing, Manager we believe) was extremely rude and patronising to my friend who was given the wrong order. My friend was very upset by the way she was spoken too and we were all gobsmacked.

Consistently great pizza, even when they're busy (which I know is difficult!) - Me and my kids love it here - they're warm and welcoming and will always try to make room for you! A+

Really great. All of the staff were super-friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. My younger daughter has some pretty severe food allergies so the manager took our order and talked us through everything and I couldn't be happier with how well we were looked after. Three of us called in this lunchtime. We were warmly welcomed and seated comfortably and promptly. The pizzas were as good as I have ever been served. The house wine was excellent as was coffee. The service too was first class. We will certainly return. Thank you all.

You could argue the best pizza in town! But the gluten free IS the best pizza in town. Go far a take out as some much has changed post the pandemic it’s a far far cry from its golden days. Too many short cuts & lazy decisions which might have been forced but the service has gone as have the decent negronis. Good luck for the future but I’ll be a take out only from now on

The wait outside was not too long at all and, once inside, the time from ordering to eating was very quick. The quality of the food was top notch and I can not fault the waiting staff at all; very friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable as well which is always a plus. Also had takeout from here too which is just as good a service as was had when eating in.

Amazing pizza. Chose to visit this restraunt based on it's reviews on Google and I was not let down. My order was ready within 10 minutes of calling. The pizza was delicious, and the gluten free pizza dough was the best I have tasted. Also treated ourselves to a garlic pizza bread which was equally as delicious. Amazing.

We had a short wait outside before we were seated, didn't take more than 10 minutes. The service was great and the food arrived really quickly. It's been a few years since my last visit and the pizza's are still fantastic! Would definitely recommend a visit in you're visiting Brighton.

Prompt service. Great pizza dough quality and savoury fresh pizza sauces. The oven is a key asset to the result. Safety protocols in place.

Excellent pizza and service - a must if you're ever in Hove.

The weather as grey and chilly but they had he large doors open and we had to sit in the cold. We were told they had no blankets ,we couldn't sit anywhere else and they wouldn't shut the doors. Then the food came and was cold within minutes!!! Not impressed z the pizza was also soggy and not crisp. Won't go back or recommend.

Spent quite alot of money there over a couple of days then took children back for pizzas a quiet time and 2adults had cappuccinos but were told we needed to order food too next time as they were not a cafe. So won't go back ...the place was virtually empty so surely some custom is better than none?

I love Pizza, probably way too much. I know a true Pizza doesn't have fancy toppings and should be plain. But if you like today's type of Pizzas then this place is absolutely worth trying. Our family loves it. I'm keeping back 1 star only because I don't want to set the expectations massively high and you feel disappointed which is unlikely.

The food is really great pizzas is just right portions size,service is also good with great atmosphere.
