Ordered 3 pizzas over the telephone, admittedly there was a lot of noise ( background) in the restaurant , the lady said she could not hear me and put the telephone down, second attempt, again said I was breaking and put the telephone down. Third attempt was successful. As I live locally walked there, only 1 pizza ready. I mentioned to one of staff that there customers service was a lot to be desired , they apologised, My comment is not to criticise but help you improve your customer service.

Good atmosphere and great pizzas. Tried their pizza, calzone, chips and tiramisu. Booking recommended but they have a good amount of seating so walking in works too.

One of the best gluten free pizza

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat here. We booked a table, our table wasn't ready so we were asked to wait outside. 30 minutes after our booking we were told the table would be ready soon..... as we were very wind blown by then we left.

Great pizzas. No working toilets during our visit but didn't affect enjoyment of our meal.

Completed the rainbow 5k run at Hove Park back in August and had a voucher for a free pizza in the goody bag. Was not even aware of this place so first time visit. Really impressed, polite service and not rushed. Clean and neat restaurant. Had the marinara and mushroom truffle which we cut in half and had a bit of both, superb pizzas with a great base. We used to go to Purezza a lot but these were even better. Had a side of garlic and rosemary fries as well. Chilli mayo dip was great too and all dips vegan. Will come back for sure. Very happy tummy. Thanks 😊

Fatto a mano is our usual go to for family birthdays. We went there yesterday for our son’s 11th birthday. The pizzas were delicious, fluffy base and delicious toppings and the fries were out of this world. You may not think you need fries with pizza but the rosemary and garlic ones are delicious! The waiting staff are always very friendly and make the visit even more special. We’ll be back for the next family birthday!

Fatto a Mano offers a variety of pizzas, but unfortunately, the quality doesn't match the promise. The pizzas tend to be quite sloppy, with toppings sliding off and the base lacking the crispness you'd expect. The presentation, flavours and texture leave much to be desired.

Amazing pizza, very good service, great location, amazing desert, I really recommend the fried pizza dough, it’s almost like sourdough churros, and a huge portion so great to share with someone else.

We took our son there for his birthday and Tommaso went above and beyond with his service. The manager greated us warmly when we arrived and the food was delivered hot and fast. Looking for an excuse to go back for the garlic and herb fries.

This is a very smoothly run ship, so smoothly I can almost feel the corporate strategy behind it ;). That being said, the pizza was excellent, the service very friendly and the prices correct. Staff even speaks Italian, so whoever is behind this concept, knows who to hire.

Had a wonderful time sitting outside on a warm night. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, recommended to add some tomato sauce on a white base pizza and the result was delicious. Both pizzas were good portions and very tasty. Will definitely visit again

Excellent place to eat. Really really friendly staff. We had a disabled buggy with us which they stored with no problem and a smile! 5 booked but our youngest son doesn’t eat - which again was no problem. Food delicious. Service so friendly and food came quickly. Great service, value for money and one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Restaurants aren’t just about food, but the whole experience and this was top notch. Don’t go out often with our youngest son but this made the experience wonderful. Lucky Hove to have this place!

Lovely restaurant, on the smaller side but food was incredible and staff were lovely and welcoming and was lovely to my toddler. It gets busy and from the food you can see why!

I've been coming here for 10 years. I love the Nepolatana and my two sons enjoy the margarita. It's rare that I get an opportunity to spend quality time with my boys and step-son together without the girls! (Wife and stepdaughter). What better place to spend it than Fatto-a-mano. Unfortunately, the seemingly older and experienced staff totally spoiled it for us: Service was quick. Lightning quick. 5 minutes into eating. Both I and the eldest were finished and the lady came to clear our table. I asked if she could wait. 2 minutes later, after 3 of us had finished eating, the male server came to clear our plates - what about the youngest boy who was still eating? A couple of minutes later the original lady came and I politely asked her to leave us to enjoy our time together. Then the manager popped over just as my youngest gave me and his bother the last slice of pizza. He said "Looks like your plates are empty now but I'm glad you're having fun". There were at least 7 empty tables, they didn't need the space. The kids are aged 10-13 and were polite, not loud and really did me proud. We were bullied out of there after 20 mins (total time from ordering to leaving). I was looking for a nice place to relax and have quality time with step-son and boys. They took that away from me along with my money - I don't mind paying a lot, just don't treat me like a commodity. Your customers deserve better. We're on the hunt for a new pizza hangout. The kids even noticed the poor service and don't want to bother here anymore. End of an era for us.

I have taken two groups of twenty to Fatto a Mano in the past two weeks and have been impressed, particularly the second time, and particularly with Sara, who was our main server. She was incredibly efficient and also really nice!

Pizzas were tasty, and a good selection of toppings. The atmosphere was cozy, making it a nice spot for a casual evening with friends or family. Service was friendly and efficient. Worth checking out, and on the cheaper side of things!

I went to the Hove branch for a lunchtime pizza with a work colleague as it had good reviews, around 4.5. Maybe my standards are too high, but I would hesitate to recommend this place. If I found myself in the same area again, I would try somewhere else. The base was quite soggy, by the end, and the pizza was fairly bland tasting. I found the choice a bit limited and it's quite expensive, although eating out is ridiculously expensive these days, which is probably why I rarely do it, unless someone else is paying. The service was alright, but we don't really need to be asked 4/5 times during the meal whether everything was alright. If this is what counts as 4+ stars these days, I despair.

Good experience, however, cannot describe it as perfect. We had a light dinner, just a glass of red wine plus caesar salad, garlic pizza and fries. The fried bread pieces in the caesar were so hard to chew.

We make it our business to visit Fatto a Mano every time we visit Sussex. The visit this time was great as always. Wonderful Pizza and a nice place to relax over Dinner

Excellent quality pizza 🍕 My favourite on Brighton and Hove. Lovely restaurant too with nice outside seating area. Visited for dinner this evening and staff were really kind and helpful when I realised the pizza I had ordered didn't have cheese 🙈 It was my mistake for not reading on the menu that mozzarella wasn't listed in the toppings and just assuming it would come with cheese - the staff kindly replaced my pizza with one with cheese. Another staff member also proactively put the outside heater from us once the sun had gone in which was really kind.

Always a great atmosphere at the Church Road Fatto Mano's. Seated quickly even though we hadn't booked, service was excellent, really helpful. We both had Capricciosa pizza's which arrived maybe 5 minutes after our drinks and tasted perfect. You can tell when it's a great night out in a great restaurant as all the tables around use were laughing and deep in conversation. A perfect evening.

Had a wonderful time here eating outside on a beautiful day. Pizzas were amazing - one vegan, one vegetarian - and the fries are the best I've had! The cocktails from the special menu were delightful.

My wife and I had a terrible experience here last week. The staff were incredibly rude and made my wife's disability abundantly clear. The pizza dough is not fresh, the ingredients are poor quality and overpriced. The decor is tacky and cheap. Shall not be returning and I think you should invest in some disability training.

Visiting from London and this place was recommended by multiple people, it certainly lived up to and in fact exceeded expectations! Delicious food and all made extra special by the wonderful staff, in particular Kotryna who looked after us as if we were family! Will definitely be back and will continue to recommend to others! What an absolutely fantastic place. We booked ahead and were seated on the top floor over the beautiful indoor balcony (not ideal for young diners - there were 9 of us, 1 toddler and 1 baby). The host was amazing and completely clued up with allergens, explaining all the kitchen details, cooking and oven areas, so well versed and completely put me at ease. As gluten free, I was completely bowled over to find that the gf pizza was a hand made, authentic, freshly stretched gf pizza base, specifically for my order (I ordered the torno off the white base). All the waitresses were lovely, and the atmosphere here was very relaxed in true Italian splendour. The only downside is how far away it is from me, as I can't unfortunately become a regular!!!

The Neapolitan-style pizzas taste excellent and the house beer is highly recommended. Definitely the best pizza spot in Brighton/Hove.

We had walked past this restaurant earlier in the day and thought it looked a lovely place to have dinner outside, so we booked a table for later. It was very busy as it was a warm evening, despite this the service was excellent but quite a long wait for food. What we didn’t like was where we were situated, right by the entrance, we were next to a queue of über eats/deliveroo drivers, it felt like we were in a takeaway queue and we also felt like they actually took precedence over the restaurant diners. Pizzas were simple but lovely, 12.5% service charge added to the bill, we would rather decide whether to tip and how much , than have it decided for us.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We were served by Sarah ( or Sara?! ) and she was really friendly and good fun. It was so busy and she dealt with it all really well :)

First time visiting this branch, usually go to the one in the North Laines. Excellent pizza as per usual with great service. This one has the edge because you can book a table.

This place is incredibly busy which is grand, but the staff are lovely! The food was piping hot and fresh, and tasted delicious. The vegan option is amazing! Would definitely come back again for both the food and the lovely service

By far the best service I’ve ever had! Everyone I interacted with this evening at Fatto a Mano Hove/Church st was genuinely warm, friendly and attentive. It was an absolute pleasure to see Kotryna and her colleagues collaborate with such joy, efficiency and complicité. Of course, the food was delicious (I had the special), but the service and atmosphere made the whole experience simply outstanding for me. And as I was dining alone whilst travelling, it truly meant a lot. Highly recommend. Thank you all and hats off - it ain’t an easy job! I will come back :)

Incredible pizzas, amazing staff, especially JJ and Thomaso. They always make my kids feel so special and are so happy to accommodate my autistic son. When it was my daughter's birthday, they bought a special extra pudding with a candle and sang happy birthday. Honestly the best pizza place I've ever been to and possibly the best staff in Brighton and hove.

Hove's Fatto a Mano's is such a lovely Italian restaurant with Italian and English speaking staff. This was the best pizza I had so far in my life. Yesterday I ate here and tonight I'm taking a pizza for take away.

Probably the best pizza in Brighton. We visit a lot. Always excellent service by very friendly staff. The food is incredibly quick. Love this place. All they need to do now is a Cadburys caramel, banana and mascarpone pizza for dessert, trust me Fatto it’s to die for, you need this on your menu!

We walked over from Brighton centre all the way to this restaurant, even though there is about 5 Neapolitan pizza places on the way. Definitely worth it and we will be back. Classic, authentic flavours, perfectly cooked pizza, just like in Napoli. Tasty house pilsner which goes really well with pizza. I haven’t tried their vegan and Christmas specials but looked amazing. Prices are reasonable as well, which is not the case for many other places around.

Always great - can't fault it. And the GF dough is first class. Starters and puds are better than they read. Try halving a pizza and having three courses.

A premium tiramisu experience - an indulgent Italian opera for your taste buds. Not overly sweet, and the perfect balance of bitterness. Highly recommend!

Lovely outdoor space. Good attention to dietary requirements - had to pay more for non-gluten base (and they can’t guarantee no cross contamination) but it’s was delicious, crunchy and chewy!

I visited as part of a large group and was really impressed with the service. Despite being busy, all of the waiting staff had plenty of time for us and our questions. I have some dietary preferences which they were very accommodating for, and I can highly recommend the gluten-free dough, I couldn’t even tell that it was any different to a “normal” pizza. It was quite busy with not many tables left despite only being a Tuesday, so I would highly recommend that you book ahead . Thanks everyone for a great meal

Years and years of great pizza! We’re regulars at this and their London road restaurants. Both are really good and consistent. Their Hove one is a nicer location and a welcome sight on he way home from the beach.

Dropped by on Thursday afternoon having not booked a table - this is a very popular restaurant, but we were seated after only a short wait! The food here is really reasonably priced and you get quite a lot for what you pay!! The pizzas are absolutely delicious - you can tell the toppings and dough are great quality. Our food arrived quickly after ordering despite the place being so busy. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and more than happy to help accommodate additional requests like switching toppings. We had a really fantastic waiter, but I missed their name unfortunately. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as the tables are pretty close together and it was quite loud, but otherwise 5 stars all round 😇

Authentic Italian pizza house with both indoor and street eating. Good pizza if somewhat soggy in the middle

Been coming here for years but sadly the food and service has really been pretty poor in recent visits. Last week, it took 45 minutes to get served 1 pizza and a portion of fries. We had to ask 3 different waiters for ketchup/mayo, by which time the food was stone cold. We then had to ask for the bill 3 times and eventually went up to the counter to pay. The pizzas are not a patch on what they used to be and it feels like a chain restaurant now. There are much better pizza alternatives in Brighton/Hove, with better service and superior pizza

Popped in for lunch after a dip in the sea. Sat in the sun on the front terrace. Staff where very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I didn't really fancy a pizza but I got two side dishes instead. Wow delicious. I had the bocconcini salad with pesto and the nduja arancini. Potion size was good and the flavor was fantastic. Fair prices and great quality. I would love to come back soon with friends for a longer meal. This place seems ideal for meals alone, with friends or even with children of you must.

Not safe for Coeliacs! I was delighted to see so many rave reviews of gluten free pizza, however unfortunately it is cooked directly on the oven with all glutenous pizzas (and they said it wasn’t possible to cook it on a tray or anything so it isn’t sitting on the stone). If you have a gluten intolerance then of course this is fine but otherwise there is extreme cross contamination and not suitable for anyone with Coeliac disease. Disappointing given the high incidence of Coeliacs in Italy; Italians normally are much better at understanding and catering for it.
