The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

Never again will I order… £22 for a cold pizza and chips , was offered another but had to collect…. If I order food I expect it piping hot!! The cheese was hard and so were the chips. I’ll wait for my refund. All takeaways are like this now because drivers take multiple deliveries at once !

Best Pizza I have had outside Italy

Angelo y su equipo nos cuidaron bien, ayudó a hacer un cumpleaños familiar especial y la comida era deliciosa y los platos de pasta abundante. Nuestra fiesta había viajado desde Devon & Kent para reunirse y había seleccionado Casalingo con mucha antelación tanto para la comida y la historia del propietario y tuvimos una encantadora comida relajada el domingo a la hora del almuerzo y celebración y el Negroni es una recomendación de 5 estrellas de un aficionado en nuestra fiesta. Esto no es buena comida, esto no es experiencia cenando, esto es buena, fresca y comida tradicional en un entorno humilde que demasiados restaurantes no se dan cuenta de que es en realidad perfecto!

Worst food I've ever had in my life. Service is amazing however, starters are the only food worth having . All else is absolutely atrocious. I'm surprised they are still open.

A great little restaurant with a big personality. Superb pizzas & ice cream along with friendly, efficient service. We often dine here for birthday celebrations and this evening was no exception as it was our son's 16th.

Such a nice friendly italian place, the pasta and pizza are both to die for & perfect for a date night, recommend the tiramisu. plus the waitress is so lovely and super accommodating.

It was a really great gastronomic experience. Thank you, Team Nino Junior. The restaurant was full, the food was delicious and the service was warm and wonderful. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for a quality place to est and be, just off the motorway. We had supper there. You could also have lunch too, and if you visit outside these times, you could always benefit from Nino's deli opposite too; not least for the delicious ice creams. Undiluted thanks Nino for your exceedingly warm hospitality and for treating us to such a wonderful, authentic Italian experience.

Well good little local place Banging all round

What a wonderful restaurant. Git a table at the last minute for my husbands birthday evening. Fantastic staff, could not do enough for us even pitting a birthday candle in our dessert! Wish we lived closer to enjoy this marvellous find!

One of the best pizza restaurants in the UK. The Carnivora pizza was as good as I have been served in Italy. Service was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

A delightful, authentic restaurant, serving delicious, fresh pasta. We carb loaded here the night before Brighton marathon, and had a fab takeaway pizza afterwards. Loved the totelloni and the prawn spaghetti. Friendly service. Lovely puddings too.

Went in to ask about food allergies. Initially the staff said there are nuts in the kitchen but it would probably be okay. I then asked about cross contamination as they have a pistachio pizza and it turns out they use the same oven to cook everything so definitely not nut allergy friendly. Also use cheese etc with nuts

I just ordered a Calzone Meat Feast takeaway from Fortes Pizzeria, and it was fantastic! The turnaround was impressively quick, and the quality was superb. The calzone was tasty, well-cooked, and packed with delicious meat. The staff were also very welcoming, making the whole experience even better.

Great place with great food. Really good service too.
