The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

Their specialty really is the pizza. I tried Margherita with gorgonzola and truffle oil and it was fantastic. I am Italian and very picky with Italian food made abroad, also being a cook myself makes me naturally judgemental, however I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised, and honest to god this pizza could be on the top 10 in the country, could surely win the best pizza award in the UK. I highly recommend it.

Pizza bases very undercooked. Soft and Soggy…Another 5mins in a hot oven would have made all the difference

An unlikely spot for a top restaurant but don’t be fooled please give it a go because inside it’s warm and friendly service and authentic Italian food

Absolutely loved this place. Had the best pizza I've ever had - Nduja e burrata. Great atmosphere, good wine choice, friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

I was meeting an old friend here and we had a lot to catch up on. The staff were friendly and efficient: they didn’t rush us either with ordering or eating. They were polite, observant and efficient. They recommended an excellent wine to accompany our fish kebabs (which were absolutely delicious 🤤). It was a Monday evening, when normally most eateries would struggle to fill up their seats. We arrived soon after opening but very soon the place was packed with every table taken - a testament to a really good restaurant. Even though it was full, the clientele were making quiet conversation so it was perfectly possible to speak to each other and be heard! cannot rate Cucina highly enough and will certainly be returning. 👍

I’m a fussy, snob and I’m used to Michelin star restaurants, but my best friend introduced me to Napoli and this has got to be one of the best Italian restaurants around! The food is superb, the staff are brilliant, the atmosphere is fantastic! Everything is very well priced including the alcohol!! It would be very hard to find a better Italian restaurant! It’s no wonder they’ve been in business for such a long time! Keep up the amazing work guys and see you soon!

Good food, great staff and lovely place to eat. A little expensive but no one forced to eat there. Only let down was service charge on the bill, whereas i prefer to leave a decent tip. But would eat there again no worries.

The food was very good, we were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and quality - we would definitely visit again. The only improvement I would suggest is that upon entering, there was a strong damp smell, which should be looked at since it could put some off. But I would encourage everyone to give it a go.

Friends and I had been out for a meal together... We All wanted Icecream - so we visited Lusso for Icecream. We had Icecream in a tub & sat outside to enjoy.... It is Wonderful Icecream, Great Selection to choose from.... Recommend everyone to visit ..

This lovely small restaurant is a delight to eat in. It has an old fashion charm about it, white linen tablecloths, impeccably dressed and charming waiters and the food was excellent. There were 6 of us in our party and we chose from a set menu of around 7 choices with a three course lunch costing £16.50 per person. Great value, great place will come again.
