Cucinetta in Worthing

We have been searching for a while to find somewhere that suits our needs. My wife is chinese and has different dietary requirements. I was with her plus my Daughter and granddaughter and your menu suited all of us. We will come again

Very impressive food and good service. A small menu but good variety and everything tasted great and looked fantastic. A perfect option when you want to go somewhere that offers something a little bit different from your usual Italian restaurant and that can be a little bit more intimate.

Another great meal at this excellent Italian restaurant. The best olives to start while deciding what to order from the newly increased menu. Other options on the specials menu included Dover sole. Always reliable and great, friendly service too. Also good value for this quality.

This restaurant never fails to please. Always a great experience when eating here. Great staff. They're so pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble for them .. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. I certainly would recommend it.

Amazing food and good portion size

Gorgeous little Italian bistro. The owner, Marco, creates amazingly tasty and delicious dishes, with good sized portions and so yummy. His menu always has a nice selection to suit different diets, and it’s always cooked fresh with quality ingredients. All my visits have been at lunchtimes. It is always extremely busy and I always try any book ahead of any of my visits as I have seen many people, who have walked in off the street, disappointed.

We have dined at Cuccinetta many times and the food and service are always incredible. We went there for mother's day and had the best lunch. Thank you for making it so special.

Went for my son's birthday. Best meal I have had since returning to UK. Cod is delicious 😋 and pork belly the best. Food fresh and well presented. Great service in this small intimate restaurant. Prices very reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit and trying out more dishes.

What a shame, the review's are amazing. We must have gone on the wrong night , the manager couldn't be bothered ,there were two radio's playing and when the main arrived it was so hot it would have heated a house ,its such a shame ,my wife always wanted to go there

Bienvenuta all. Quite simply one of Worthings best guilty pleasures. The Colazione breakfast has to be the best by far. Strips of pancetta adorning a sumptuous plate of lightly toasted sour bread, button mushrooms, sweet grilled tomatoes, fried eggs and a superbly seasoned pork sausage all dressed with a caress of balsamic glaze. Washed down with an artisan coffee, and all served by the cheeriest owner. This place is the essence of a local, family run business which also extends into lunchtime and evening sittings. Really convenient location if you are in Worthing town centre. I will be living close by soon, and look forward to supporting this excellent, small local business more often. Bravo!

Such great value with amazing food and service!! Our dishes were served to table with great presentation! Main courses are varied and extremely tasty (starters and Vegetables excellent too)! Their Chef knows how to cook here!!!! Our first visit but definitely not our last!!

Only had a couple of drinks before a gig but the waitress was lovely and it was very accessible including a disabled toilet.

Cucinetta has been doing "take away" deliveries during lockdown, where the full restaurant menu is available for ordering online - and is delivered the next afternoon with microwave instructions.We have been treating ourselves each week with a selection (or in my case always the same - Linguine Alla Marinara) - and just amazingly delicious!Fantastic - food is HUGE portions, perfectly cooked and delivered carefully taking into account Social Distancing.Can't wait for things to get back to normal (anyone remember what that wss) so we can enjoy the ambience of the restaurant again.

This has to be one of my all time favourite places to eat! During the lock down I have ordered numerous take away meals and are all faultless, amazing food, friendly owners who are always extremely helpful, can’t wait to go again soon!!

We have had several meals in the restaurant which have always been delicious and beautifully presented. The dishes are varied and you could be in a wonderful Italian bistro in Florence! The restaurant staff are thoroughly charming and Marco himself a joy. Due to the lockdown we ordered a takeaway ready meal which was delivered by a smiling Marco. It was equally delicious fresh and tasty as all our restaurant meals have been. This restaurant is a Worthing gem and big thank you to Marco for his perseverance and hard work making the lockdown a little bit more bearable! See you in a couple of weeks. Over the last few years we have had many lovely meals in the restaurant and have always enjoyed the authentic food. With lockdown upon us we were pleased to see that they were still trading for home delivery. We have had several Italian ready meals delivered since April and they are highly recommended. They are ready cooked and delivered during the day with specific instructions on heating etc when needed. Very efficient ordering and delivery (social distancing) Our latest order was on 9th June my Wife’s birthday.The starters of Funghi con Pancetta (mushrooms) and the Gamberi (tiger prawns) are brilliant. The Apollo Pescatota (chicken, prawns, sauté potatoes, veg) is wonderful and the Apollo Valdostana (chicken, Parma ham, cheese, sauté potatoes, veg) is superb.Cannot rate their food and home delivery high enough. Will be ordering again soon.

We had a lovely 'lockdown' meal delivered to us, I had mushroom risotto and my husband had cod mornay. Well packaged with easy reheating instructions. I also ordered some items from the shop, Italian branded items which I wouldn't have easily sourced at very reasonable prices. Am looking forward to placing my next order (but even more looking forward to the restaurant being able to open again).

WOW!!!!!We took advantage of the Cucinetta delivery service last week, and ordered "Linguine alla Marinara" and "Rissotta di Pollo" plus a pot of their amazing Marinated Olives.Food was delivered on time in microwave friendly packaging and was very simple to warm up.Absolutely delicious - highly recommended.... and SUCH a great idea during this crazy lock-down period.

What can i say! An amazing Italian gem! Marco is an amazing chef! We have used his home delivery service twice now Each time meal was expertly prepared, delivered and consumed with relish!Big thank you to Marco for sticking with it and not deciding to discontine as so many local restaurants have. Wow! What a fantastic delivery meal, the best Linguine alla marinara , lovely mozzarella starter, cheesy garlic bread, beautiful pudding, chocolate cream sponge and hazelnut flavoured, and all washed down with the best Pinot blush. Made the staying in more bearable ❤️ Marco well done !

Just had our first delivery meal from Marco and it was every bit as good as the in dining experience. With all the troubling times and isolation at the moment it was so nice to have a treat on a Friday evening. It’s so simple - order online before 2pm and Marco will deliver late afternoon - ready to heat and eat!! Highly recommend - wine to accompany as well!!

If you like authentic Italian food, then this is the restaurant for you, the food couldn't be better. We went during a lunch time (not out first visit) and the restaurant was quite busy, but we had booked, it has a nice atmosphere, with everybody chatting away (just like being in Italy) and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. All in all, a really nice dining experience.

Excellent little restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and service was brilliant. Very importantly we were really impressed with the food, salami board was nice but a little dull and could do with a salty/sour element. Mushroom starter was very tasty. Seafood linguine was lush. Will go back to this great restaurant.

We were in Worthing on a business matter and, looking for somewhere for lunch, we looked at the menu at Cucinetta and decied to eat here. What a good decision that as. The service was great, the food delicious and well presented and the atmosphere lovely. I felt we couldn't have done better anywhere else in town. We'll be back when next we're in Worthing.

Visited last week with my family who live locally. None of us have been before and we all enjoyed an excellent meal with very friendly and efficient service. Would certainly go again.

First visit having walked past many times & wondered what it was like. We had an amazing lunch - shared a charcuterie board to start (very generous & yummy) & then both had the minute steak & frites from the fixed price lunch. Lovely tomato & onion salad on the side too. I really could not fault this place - the food was fantastic & service impeccable. My dad is moving to Worthing soon & am looking forward to taking him here for brunch & lunch!

Fantastic welcome and what a lovely little restaurant. Confident having the kitchen on show . The Chef and restaurant were very friendly on arrival and very flexible on choosing our table . The menu was quite limited but often a sign of fresh .

visited last week with a party of 30+. they coped with a smile and everything was served within a short time without problems. my veal was excellent, desert fantastic and the wine was great. well done.

We had been highly recommended to this bistro which is situated just behind our office so ideal to try for our company Christmas meal.

Firstly, can I make it clear that I have no connection to the restaurant other than being a very happy customer. We do visit quite regularly & each time it seems to get better. Its not a very big place, but what it may lack in size, nits certainly high on quality & service. Lunch or dinner, all of it is superb & I have never had a bad meal. Its all cooked fresh to order & the portions are generous & prices are reasonable. Don't take my word for it though, go & try it, you will never want to visit another Italian restaurant again.

As always we had a superb meal here. Always cooked freshly and presented well. Friendly staff always welcoming would always recommend this little place.

We are all vegetarian, booked for my mothers birthdays. Plenty of choice, great food, great service, not over priced, I’d say good value for money. Great venue. The consensus was we will definitely eat here again. Thanks guys see you soon!

Been to this place many times before and never disappoints, however on this visit we were offered a special not on the menu of which I did not know they had such an option, the absolutly delightful and attentive waitress offered a 'Veal Chop' of which I accepted, when it arrived I was astounded by the size, massive, it was not only extreemly tasty but delightfully tender, highly recommended, as is the fish stew.

Another excellent meal,this time with a group of friends.The owner,Marco,who was cheffing this time,& the lovely Katy looking after us front of house,were on good form. Thoroughly recommended,super food & a great,friendly atmosphere.

We’ve walked past here hundreds of times and often said we should give it a try so finally we did. It was busy on a Thursday night but they squeezed us in and we ordered a bottle of Soave while looking at the menu. Neither of us often has an appetite to eat starters but we fancied a nibble on some cheesy garlic bread. One portion split into two was more than enough for both of us.

We had lunch on a busy Sunday and the service was quick and friendly. The mussels were excellent and also the pasta was very tasty. After we returned home we realised we forgot something in the restaurant which was very valuable to us and I contacted the owner. Although they were closed on Monday’s he went to the restaurant and made sure we got our property back within hours. Perfect customer service and well appreciated!! Thank you Marko!

Authentic Italian restaurant. Unpretentious but very good home cooked food. Friendly staff, busy and good value for money. This is not a fancy Michelin starred restaurant, but it is welcoming, clean, friendly, good value and with excellent food. What’s not to like!

Good food at a reasonable price, desserts very good. My partner particularly liked the chocolate torte.

We came here with friends last night. It always adds a bit of pressure when you’re booking the restaurant but we were not disappointed. We were running late so phoned to let them know, they were very understanding. We had starters (Mushrooms and Avocado Tricolore) , mains (Lasagne Verde, Chicken Risotto and my King Prawn fusilli which caused food envy) and each couple shared a dessert (Limoncello Sorbet and Chocolate thingy). All courses were so fresh and flavoursome. The service was really relaxed and friendly. Would highly recommend and won’t leave it so long for our next visit. Thank you!

This restaurant never disappoints, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is always outstanding, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. Everyone is made to feel welcome dinning with friends, lover or alone everyone is appropriately catered for.

This restaurant keeps coming up in conversation and comes highly recommended, so decided to treat my wife and I to a night out. This is exactly what we wanted from an Italian restaurant, small, cosy but lively with exceptional food and wine! It’s so nice to find a little gem like this when all I see is “Italian” themed chains selling crappy pizza and pasta dishes! The staff were great we were served by a young lady called Katie who was very knowledgable about the menu and even the ingredients. It’s clear to see when you visit that Marco (the owner) and his staff love what they do and it’s reflected in the dishes they create... 5 stars from me!

My daughter and I have just returned from our first visit, and it was indeed a lovely experience. Our waitress Katie could not have been more welcoming. The service through out was absolutely exceptional. We both had the calves liver which was cooked to perfection. We had one delicious tiramisu and a Zabalione. We will be returning shortly and could not recommend this little restaurant more highly.l

Had a really beautiful meal here a couple of weeks ago. My partner and I were looking for somewhere to eat quite late one Saturday. The attentive staff were really helpful in fitting us in. I was pleased they did as we had a couple of really beautiful fresh pasta dishes. Definitely recommend the sea food pasta. The waitress serving us was great too. We had a really nice evening. Will be back to try their brunch soon!

I had Calves Liver with seasonable vegetables followed by the most delicious Tiramisu. It was served piping hot and was very well presented. It was a Thursday evening and the restaurant was full to the brim and buzzing

Very good meal here last Friday. The starter was especially good, grilled tuna with fresh anchovies and olives. I could happily have ordered a bigger portion for a main course.

Was looking forward to a great dining experience based on previous reviews. Whilst the food was ok the customer service was non existent. The young woman serving and who ever was behind the counter were more interested in her social life than serving customers. It was like listening to teenagers messing around, loudly.

P0pped in for brunch, been many times before for dinner which has always been 1st class and faultless all round. Brunch did not fail to deliver either, first class reasonably priced food served by the most polite and friendly staff, we will be back very soon.

Popped in here by chance yesterday afternoon and had the most amazing lunch no joke! Served by a very friendly waiter and food came super quick. Had the pan fried chicken with olive oil mash and I can’t even exaggerate how creamy and tasty it was. Recommended to all my friends and will definitely be back again in the next coming days as it’s sparked a craving since I’ve come here!

Another excellent brunch at Cucinetta! The best in town. Piping hot eggs served with mushrooms and sourdough toast. Generous and great value. Coffee is good and service friendly and prompt. Cosy relaxed ambience. Top marks!

Took my parents here last week when they where do in Worthing. Food and service was amazing my Dad said it was the best risotto he had ever had. Food is always freshly cooked and served up nice. Highly recommend

I would not have thought about dining in Portland Road but for its proximity to Worthing County Court and the fact I had only an hour to spare before meeting a client. Cucinetta isn’t a bad name for a cosy informal cafe cum restaurant nestling in a little enclave of bars and eateries and serving (mainly) Italian food, such as pizzas and pastas then traditional mains such as pollo alla cacciatore and veal Milanese with spaghetti. Lunchtime is a great time to visit because brunch and frequently changing lunch menus are also available, the latter with all dishes at £8. Chicken drumstick cassoulet with beans and rosti was tempting but I chose minute steak with egg fries and even a bearnaise sauce. Tremendous value. Washed down with a 250ml merlot. It seemed churlish not to linger over three scoops of lemon sorbet with limoncello. A good way of taking my mind off the bitter child contact dispute to come.

This was my third very successful visit to Cucinetta. Once again the service and atmosphere makes for a very relaxing experience. We all enjoyed our food: tasty chicken, risotto and pork dishes chosen. Definitely recommend.

We took some friends to Cucinetta and I’m sure they expected the usual average Italian style food but they (like us) were so impressed with the quality of the dishes.

We were taken here on the 23rd of April for our 50th Wedding Anniversary! The food here is first class and the service is exceptional.8 of us ordered and each course came out together no waiting and all on hot plates, which is rare in other places ! We will certainly come back when we visit Worthing again.

Regularly visit this bistro. Always first class food & friendly service at a sensible price. Very good buzz about the place , enjoyable experience every time. Highly recommended.
