On a short break and I only eat fish and frankly steer clear from anything battered or breadcrumbed so had grilled octopus it was extremely tender very yummy husband had pork chops he enjoyed them as well

We always visit this lovely restaurant when in Worthing. Friendly, great service and exceptional food. The food is excellent value for money and freshly prepared, good size portions. They do an over 60s lunch menu, Fish & Chips, Tea or Coffee and pudding for under £10. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Such a lovely lunch with friends. The service was superb, the fish and chips were freshly cooked, the batter on the fish was crisp and the chips were excellent. Adjustments made to the menu for us all without any problems. All served with tartare sauce, tomato ketchup and some onion vinegar. (That last part was for you Lonnie!) I have to especially mention Lonnie and Martha, the brilliant staff that served us. They were absolutely superb, friendly, helpful, courteous and most attentive without being obtrusive. To the owners... Lonnie and Martha are both exemplary staff and superb ambassadors for your business. Whatever you are paying them is not enough! We look forward to returning as soon as possible and recommending this lovely restaurant to all our friends. Thank you for a great lunchtime!

Went for lunch there with friends and had an exceptional experience. Lonnie and Martha were most welcoming, helpful and friendly, and were wonderful ambassadors for the restaurant. We all had the over 60's set lunch which was cooked to perfection and Lonnie even conjured up some onion vinegar for us. Such hospitality will definitely bring us back there again.

The best fish and chip meal in Worthing. We had the senior meal which is big enough for us, plus tea or coffee and pudding under £10 Great.

Great views to worthing pier, and the sea, the food is fresh, perfectly cooked, clean and well presented. The staff are always polite and friendly. It's definitely a must, if you like traditional fish and chips by the sea.

Stopped by as a little peckish and halloumi with a side of chips. All freshly made and delicious.

Had haddock and chips, all freshly cooked to order, batter light and crispy, chips were delicious not at greasy. The restaurant is clean, staff friendly and welcoming. Situated across the road from the Worthing Theatre and the beach, if you are in Worthing, be sure to visit.

Had a classic cod and chips. The cod was very nice but the chips were more fries, not really classic seaside chips it seemed to me. Mushy peas were nice, tartare sauce OK but needed a bit more zing IMO. Everything was nicely plated. Polite friendly service and the restaurant was reassuringly clean.

Superbly situated opposite the pier this fish and chip come seafood restaurant is a must when visiting Worthing. Clean, light and airy with a good menu including childrens choices is reasonably priced. Delicious sea food platter for two. Lobster, squid, octopus, clams, prawns and mussels! Super. Enjoy.

Good choice good portions good service

Visited the arcade fish restaurant last night and it was absolutely beautiful. For starters my husband opted for octopus and I opted for grilled sardines, for the main he had lobster and i had salmon. Both courses were flavoursome and tasty. Would recommend a visit.

From Bordon, Hampshire, twice we have been there and twice it was an execellent experience. Very busy place (Saturday lunch time), very welcoming staff, excellent servings / portions, good range of menu choices and fairly quick service. We went on our bike and had no trouble to park very close, however, using a car not as easy but with available parking nearby on the road along the promenade. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend.

I had the king prawns with rice and salad. The menu didn't say that they would be whole king prawns, very awkward to eat. They tasted good though. Salad was OK but very boring as very little dressing. All in all the food was very plain.

I don't think this great Restaurant will ever be the same again after a coachload of pensioners growing old disgracefully descended on them on a Tuesday in early September. Only two staff on this particular day but it did not delay the delivery of nicely prepared hot food. My friends had sardines with a salad and rolls (their verdict was 'delicious). I had the ubiquitous fish and chips ... really top class. Highly recommended clean restaurant with friendly staff and ambience. View of the Pier and a little of the sea.

I could not fault this restaurant! The waiter was cheerful and helpful. To my surprise, because I am elderly, there was a discount on the menu! I chose cod, chips and mushy peas. This was accompanied by a selection of sauces and a slice of lemon. I had a good portion of cod, cooked to perfection as were the chips. I just wish I had this restaurant near me!! Thank you restaurant staff for making my day special!

Best seafood in Worthing, we are never dissapointed, fish is always fresh, tasty and the waitors are friendly and welcoming. This is my regular place for fish and chips or if I want to splash out on the lobster, this is THE place.

Quick lunch before leaving the area and heading home after a weekend away. What a gem ! The restaurant is lovely and clean etc, the service is great and the food was fresh and fabulous. We had the gilled octopus and the grilled sea bream, 10/10, felt like I was back in Greece. A few other people were having traditional fish and chips and this looked really good too.

A no-frills restaurant next to the beach (you can't see the sea though whilst seated). They also serve steak and a few other non-seafood dishes.

A great value, down to earth and friendly place to eat fish and chips and plenty of other options on the seafront.

We were on a day out with our Darby &Joan club. Although the restaurant was very busy we didn't have to wait to long to be served. The fish was lovely as was the chips and the mushy peas. I had the Haddock and my four friends had the cod meal deal which included a dessert. Would definitely recommend this restaurant 👌 I also had a lovely large glass of white wine.

Stop by for lunch on a 3 day stay in the area, it was superb, so much so we came back on the 3rd day. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. I had the plaice during our first visit it was very nice the batter was light and crunchy with some amazing fries while my partner on both occasions enjoyed their Rib-eye steak again served with fries the salad that comes with it was pretty standard.

Food was 10/10. Portions were great. Service was great. The only thing I would change is dom the lights and put a candle on the tables and it would be amazing but that a bit nit picky tbh. Absolutely fantastic

Really nice restaurant. I had the haddock and chips what was so fresh and light batter very nice and my wife had the grilled sea bream and was also lovely. The waitress and all staff was very nice and accommodating to our little baby boy we are definitely going back especially looking at other people’s food that they had lol.

Dine here today and would highly recommend their pasta. Freshly cooked fish and chips as well. The place is spacious as well for our little ones, and also got plenty of options for kids menu.🙂

Very nice restaurant, had air conditioning on hot days, and was very facilitating to my family of 4

Was taking a walk from West Worthing to Worthing and getting a bit peckish. Since I love fish, so thought to give this venue a go. It has a very nice setting overlooking the Worthing pier. And though it was a warm day, the indoor seating has AC (you can sit outside too). The food we had was great, and for me who really likes Whitebait the whitebait here was the best I've had so far. The calamari was also very nice, not overly cooked and lightly battered. The other two were happy with their food also. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

My wife and I popped in here on a Saturday afternoon for fish and chips. I cannot find any fault at all with the meal and the service was great too.

We chose this restaurant as it looked clean and was always busy, it looked very popular. Had delicious cod and chips for a reasonable price. My son had a chicken burger which he said was delicious. Service was good. Would highly recommend.

WOW ..What an amazing find. 44 clients and staff from Kingston Eco-op were fed and watered in this amazing restaurant in under an hour...never mind the other customers they were also serving. Addy & his crew know how to look after their customers and every meal was cooked from fresh, the fish was outstanding and the chips cooked to perfection. We will definitely recommend to everyone and be back. Thank you so much.

Delightful restaurant in worthing, very clean and speedy service. Welcoming staff and attentive. Particularly Marta was lovely to speak to. The food was fresh and well cooked, risotto al dente, whitebait, crispy and not overloaded with oiliness. A good variety of food too. Definitely worth a visit

Our food took about 30 minutes to arrive. The pasta was overcooked and the dish was too much oily. Additionally, we didn't like the wine. And also the grilled octopus was excellent. We highly recommend it.

Located across Worthing Pavilion. I was sat outsife enjoying the sea breeze. Very quick service. Theya accept card payments. It was a recommendation to have haddock because it has an intense flavour. Batter was very crispy. Fish was not dry. It was light, flaky and juicy. Chips, solid. Mushy peas - good flavour. The tartare sauce was good. Thry gave me vinegar and salt too. Perfect combo.

I am not a fan of fish restaurants but 4 of us chose this restaurant to try out, what a good choice. Don’t be put off by the review by Gary J, he must be a total grump, well worth the 4 and 5 star reviews by others. Very friendly helpful staff, good quality food, good service, what is there to complain about, loverly views of the pier, centre of town, not too noisy even when packed as it was on Thursday, best to reserve a table at lunch to avoid disappointment. It is on our list to visit again. From a Worthing resident.

My husband and I decided to visit The Arcades restaurant (travelling 49 miles from Surrey) on a sunny Sunday, on recommendation from a friend who had already been. We emailed to book a table ( although not necessary) and Tilly arranged that for us. On arrival, we were greeted by many friendly faces who made us feel welcome and gave us a choice of tables. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated and very clean including the toilets. We ordered from a good choice on the menu, food arrived reasonably quickly and we were served by a lovely waitress. The food was amazing! Best fish and chips we've had in a long time and reasonably priced. We had a lovely experience here and we will definitely return with our kids next time. Thank you.

Have been here many times and food has been excellent. However ordered over 60's meal and I was shocked at the portion size for what they charge. We were left very hungry. Will be back but not for over 60's meal. Thought we would get same size meal. It was more suitable for a 3 year old

This place really knows how to make feel comfortable in fact 5 stars well deserved to the front of house.. however the octopus was seriously overlooked same for the pasta linguine ai frutti di mare...

We came from London for a walk by the sea, and popped round for lunch with no expectations. Really lovely place, fresh seafood, massive portions, and very friendly smiley service. Very pleasantly surprised, would definitely recommend!

Great over 60s deal. Lovely small fish and chips, bread & butter pudding or ice cream and tea or coffee. Less than a tenner.

From the welcome you get as you arrive to the farewell as you leave this family run restaurant couldn't be better. Pork chops, huge Lamb chops, amazing Linguini, risotto both outstanding. I so wholeheartedly recommend you visit this place.

Good food, but there is no good overview if customers have a question or want to order something extra. Other than that it's fine.

In my 60 years on this planet, this was by a clear mile, the best fish and chips I have ever had. I told the owner that when we were leaving and he gave me a hug! Excellent food and service and if I lived closer, I would go every week!

Halloumi to start (on the side) with battered sausage and chips for main followed by tiramisu for dessert. No complaints regarding the service, restaurant or food. All good. Decent prices, portion sizes and opening hours.

My partner and I have been here a few times and it's always the most delicious fish/seafood we've had. We had the fish platter for two which is £70 but well worth the money, especially for a treat. Amazing service and just a really friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

Good location. Had the pensioners special lunch including tea or coffee, enough fish and chips and a pudding too. Reasonable price although there is a sneaky service charge of 10%.

Four of us went here before going to the theatre. We knew it was goi g to be more expensive than one of the chippies around the corner. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. However, the cod was probably the smallest piece we’ve ever had anywhere yet was £13.50 (£14.85 inc mandatory tip) Not super hot and not a great portion of chips either. My salmon fillet was very nice with boiled rice and a salad and again not overly cheap at £17.00 (£18.70 inc mandatory tip). Our son’s burger was very good and a decent size and he seemed to have some of my wife’s chips as his portion was far better. Overall, not bad, nice atmosphere but not convinced the extra cost compared to other fish restaurants (not chippies) is justified. £89 was a lot of money for what we had. As they say “you pay your money you take your choice”. Our choice will be somewhere else in future.
