Giuseppes Lite in Worthing

The food is definitely the main attraction here. Pizza is really well made and coocked. Dough is light and airy, cooked to perfection. Dressing is of a great taste as well. I love their arancini, big , tasty and rich. The oe thing that really set aside this place from the competition is the GELATO !! You will not find better in the whole south east.

We visited this pizza place yesterday evening with our two kids, and we were absolutely blown away by the food. I don’t usually write google reviews, but Omg, it's the best pizza we've had outside Italy! You can truly taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and the dough was perfectly prepared—just like in Italy. Having lived in Italy for 25 years, I kinda have high expectations for pizza, and in our opinion, this place exceeded all of them :) . Also, the staff was friendly and accommodating, even making a couple of special requests for our kids without any issue. It was too late to try the gelato this time, but we’ll be sure to save room for it on our next visit. Grazie mille!

Visited today for the first time, greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. Fantastic selection of pastries and cakes with many Italian delicacies and the best milkshakes in town made with quality gelato. The place itself was clean and spacious whilst also having some charm with many Italian adornments on the walls to add character. We will be visiting again, a great independent local business doing itself proud!

I recently ordered the meat selection pizza for delivery from G-Lite in worthing and it was absolutely delicious! The pizza was bursting with authentic Italian flavors. The toppings were generous and full of flavor, with a perfect mix of meats that complemented each other beautifully. What really stood out to me was the base it was incredible! The dough had that perfect balance of chewy and crisp with just the right amount of charring on the crust, giving it an authentic Neapolitan feel. You can tell this pizza was made with quality ingredients and care. I will definitely be ordering again soon! x

I asked for a well done margarita pizza with little cheese. What I got was a doughy soggy, cheese laden salty mess. Waste of money. Service was very slow. Not en enjoyable experience.

A true taste of Italy!!! We visited Glite this bank holiday weekend and were blown away! Where to start…! The staff were exceptional, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, explaining how the arancini is made and seemed very passionate about their menu, we went for a arancini bolognese, Sicilian style hotdog and the Glite pizza, all were exceptional, the drinks were also fantastic! The children had gelato which went down a treat, absolutely delicious, worth every penny… we will be visiting again…. Very soon!

Just had an ice cream which didn't taste great. Pseudo Italian food and ice cream but overall poor quality (the ice cream had) and the food (which I didn't have) looked average to poor.

Extensive menu. Good atmosphere - especially sat outside in the sunshine! Pizzas were very good - proper pizza oven and children served quickly! Nice to have a few vegan options available. Chips were the only disappointment and lacked any flavour but that’s being picky!

We’ve stopped at G-Lite for a cuppa and a cake previously. The Italian style cakes are lovely and refreshing to have something different. This weekend we ordered a takeaway ice cream cake. We got to choose the flavours and collected Saturday. It was ready, fast collection and when we got round to eating it on Sunday it was AMAZING. So nice to have e something different. Everyone raved about it and there was more than enough to feed 12 people. We left it out 20minutes before we wanted it, as instructed, and it was perfect. We’ll definitely be back for another for our next celebration. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Brought two ice creams from your Mobile Unit situated on Marine Drive next too the Childrens Playground. They were the Worst have ever tasted in the 74yrs of life !! Frozen Water with little taste, along with small ice balls. Not Pleasant and Not Cheap at £3.50 for One Scoop. Won't buy there agsin

An incredible Italian restaurant - great food (the pastas were delicious, homemade burger breads and burgers to die for, and homemade gelato was exquisite), wonderfully attentive service, and the team could not do enough for our children! Cannot wait to return to Worthing and G-Lite for another super meal!! Highly recommend.

On the sunny side of Warwick Street. Delicious pizzas. An Italian , fast street food cafe. Very relaxed, cosy atmosphere. Also, traditional Italian gelato .

Went down to Worthing and called in here for lunch. Service was friendly attentive and very good. Food (2 x Pizzas, 1 pasta dish and 1 burger) were excellent. Drinks and 2 gelatos to finish. Really pleasant lunch, great service and reasonable prices, takes some beating. See you next time we’re down your way again.

I was lucky enough to win a competition on the Worthing and Adur Food and Drink group for 2 free pizzas at G-Lite & so my father & I went for dinner. From the moment we walked in & throughout our meal we were greeted & spoken to in a really warm, polite & welcoming manner by both Francesco and Andrea - they're both very attentive, friendly & really pleasant to deal with. Both of them constantly had a smile on their faces & it created a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. They have a huge selection of pizzas & they all sounded delicious, so it was difficult to choose! They have four different vegan ones too, which is great to see that vegans have a few options to choose from. We had the Truffle & Porchini pizza & the Four Cheese pizza - they were both absolutely delicious! Definitely the best pizza we've ever had; you can tell it's freshly made. Both pizzas were thin, crispy & had so much flavour. For dessert I had the chocolate & Hazelnut cream Cannelloni which was to die for! The pastry was lovely & crispy & the filling was so rich. My father had the Tiramisu & that was really tasty too. Both desserts were presented beautifully as well. The restaurant has a lovely display of ice creams/gelato & delicious looking cakes which looked irresistible, so we brought home a slice each of the Lemon & Blueberry cake & the Kinder Cookie cake. Both slices were a very generous portion. My father loved the Lemon & Blueberry cake & I really enjoyed the Kinder Cookie cake! It was devine - it had a nice crispy edge but it was still gooey in the middle; it was absolutely delicious! Absolutely the best coffee I've ever had, hands down. You definitely need to try their cappuccino, it's to die for! The food is excellent also; I've only had the bolognese aranchini ball and a pasta dish, but both were beyond tasty. 11/10 you need to go here asap!

Delicious lunch as always. We love the fresh handmade pizzas, Sicilian Hotdogs and Gelato plus the coffee is soo good. And if I say where do you want to go to my family they always say G-lite! The staff are super friendly, so good with kids and nothing is ever a problem. Hands down a favourite for us.

I ordered a pizza and some other items to be delivered via deliveroo. When the pizza arrived it had all slid to one side of the box. It was disgusting. I called Giuseppe's Lite as I was not accepting the pizza like this. I first got a young lady on the phone who told me I called the wrong nr, which was a lie. After double checking the nr I called again and miracle of miracles they found my order! When I told them what had happened and that I was requesting a refund I was told I had to contact Deliveroo for this. I had requested a refund for the WHOLE order as the state of the pizza put me right off. Giuseppe's Lite has great food but the customer service is really bad! I was told to contact Deliveroo for the refund and while I was asking why I was passed onto an older lady who would not 3even listen to me. She spoke over me and was very rude! This is not how you talk to customers! I used to order all the time from Giuseppe's but this really bad experience of your customer service and lying has put me right off. Good luck to you....no idea what happend. Maybe management has changed but this service is really bad and I will not be ordering from Giuseppe's again.

Have started coming here with my daughter and my own parents - we initially started coming for the ice cream (which is exceptional) but today we had some pizza and Arancini. It’s really, really great - super food - and really reasonably prices. The staff are consistently excellent, warm and welcoming - it’s probably going to become a Saturday ritual. Stumbled across this place whilst trying to find somewhere for a late lunch after spending the afternoon walking along the promenade. It is situated in a nice little pedestrianised part of Worthing town centre, so is a 5 minute walk from the front. Service was welcoming and friendly from the outset, and we took a table outside, great place to people watch. Unfortunately we did not see the seagull until it landed on the table and took my daughters hotdog! The waitress and manager were great, and replaced the hot dog, which they did not need to do! The rest of the food was unmolested, and I strongly recommend the pizza here. The crust was so light and tasty, with plenty of toppings and cheaper than chains like pizza express - so much nicer too. We were so glad we came here and will definitely return for a meal when in Worthing again. Just be vigilant against the seagulls - they sit on the shop canopies and wait for an opportunity!!

This is the lite version of Guiseppe's main restaurant which is down a nearby alley. G-lite serves pizza, pasta and gelato and is open all day. There are some indoor seats but most are outdoors in the pedestrianised Warwick Street where it is one of the better eating venues. There are some deli items for sale and it is also good just as a coffee stop.

We are so lucky to be able to enjoy authentic Italian Ice-cream in Worthing. The difficulty is choosing which flavour to go for ...they all sound amazing. I can recommend the vanilla, coffee, tiramusu and kinder. Can't wait to try the rest
