After reading "RAVE" reviews we booked a table for Saturday evening, the girl did not even ask my name and said there will be a table for me which i thought was a bit odd. The weather was horrible so we decided to just get a take away. When it arrived it was cold I ordered a Chicken and Halloumi skewer but what i got was everything thrown together in a pile inside a box. When i tried the chicken, apart from being stone cold it was brick hard and overly cooked bone dry. We also hade a Chicken GYROS was also horrible, cold overcooked dry. One bite of each was all we had and threw everything into the bin. I would go as far as to say that i have never had a worse take away meal. REALLY DISSAPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!! Richie

Although lovely food, honestly I can't fault that atall. The cafe itself is loud, small and very over priced for what it is, milkshakes are nice but again over priced given that you can get the exact same in plenty of milkshake shops or waffle bars, nice as a one off but won't be going back

We visited as a table of 8 for a works do. Great food, portions are huge and everyone's meals were tasty. We all had starters and mains with drinks and it was very reasonably priced. Service was fast however could be a bit more friendly and remember to smile. Other than that would highly recommend to visit

My partner and I visited the restaurant for a lovely meal after a stressful week of moving home. The staff we pleasant, polite and friendly as was the service. The food was very tasty, freshly made and hot. The place had a good atmosphere, with space and tasteful decor. Worth the visit

I had never heard of this place before, but decided I wanted a change so gave it a go. Me and my partner both ordered pizza, chips and some other bits. The food came really fast and the delivery driver was excellent enough to not call me (before they have even arrived) and instead parked, got out of their car, rang my flat door and delivered to me then and there. MASSIVE plus, because waiting outside in the rain not knowing which car I'm supposed to be waving down is insanity. The pizza was a good change from the usual pizza available in Preston and we both really enjoyed it. It's similar to standard Italian style pizza honestly. Have to credit the pricing too, way cheaper than most places, especially as the food was great. Highly recommend, will be ordering again soon!

This lovely little place is a hidden gem in Burnley. The chef's and his team make the most outstanding food, I highly recommend the Latin Lime Chicken served on a bed of new potatoes, and the tomato & garlic flat bread, It is now on the summer menu and has some stunning dishes, I also recommed the cannarian potatoes, & the meatballs in tomato sauce, my husband loves the pizza's and he has tried them all. The front of house is outstanding David & his team and warm & welcoming, hard working, your made to feel like a old family friend than a customer, the respect they have for each other as well as the customers, it very rare to see. We highly recommend you pre-book your self a table as they have regular tables booked in advance it is so busy. There is outside seating where you can watch the world go buy as you enjoy a cocktail/beer or a glass of wine and a nibble or two on the olives. The age range is mixed and fun. I highly recommend you nip in for a drink or two & a bite or two of the menu.

Excellent authentic Italian food in the restaurant in the Andrew Arms, Compstall. The food service is separate from the pub with a comfortable dining room. The food cooked by chef Vichenzo and served by his wife is Italian through and through. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food at good price, which we will visit again and again. My pet hate is dogs in the dining room and there were none. I don't know if we were just lucky. Our favourite Italian.

I go to the main post office every day more or less to take my bag of mail and i noticed a new takeaway next to roosters called COUSINS. The gentlemen who cooks their is actually a really good italian chef who was a head chef in a really busy good italian restaurant in chorley i ordered a pizza and i hate rubbish food but this was one of the nicest pizzas ive ever ,ever had in my life and i ended up having pizza all week as i couldnt get over how nice the pizzas are from their. It makes a nice change, I popped in for a burger today and it was just so delicious everything is made from scratch fresh pizza dough made the same day on them very premises with real mozzarella no carbage like most other takeaways and he does pasta dishes and spaghetti dishes which i have never tried. This is just what darwen needs in town a nice descent authentic italian takeaway doing nice quality fresh food cooked by a real Italian chef this is my new takeaway now always. No more dominos and no more driving to different towns for a pizza as hes open late and he even delivers to alot of locations outside darwen but i would highly recommend collecting at weekends especially as the nice gentlemen works on his own for now. For all you italian food lovers and pizza lovers i would highly recommend a visitor anyone who likes good food lovers to go and try and show this man some support in his new venture

We have been here a few times now, there is nothing that’s too much trouble for the staff always there to help and advise if your are u sure on what to have, And can give you good recommendations. As the saying goes “Enter as Strangers leave as friends..” this is true at this little gem of a restaurant. The food is always lovely and always has come out together when in a party which is a bonus... can’t recommend this place enough... it’s a must !!!
