The Social Trattoria in Cheshire East

Been here twice in the past week, the first time for my daughter’s birthday and the second as a couple. Beautiful food, the staff are lovely. The owner made my 14 year old daughter a mocktail, she was over the moon. Lovely atmosphere. The young girl who waited on us was so nice and chatty. All in all, a lovely little place, can’t fault anything at all. Also, very reasonably priced.

Had an amazing meal at the social trattoria, the staff were so attentive and friendly. I had the pork belly for starters which was out of this world and my friends had the calamari, garlic dough parcels and bruschetta which they told me were the best they ever had. For the mains we had a mixture of pizza and pasta which we shared and it’s by far the best we’ve ever had. The food is so authentic to Italy and thanks the man behind the bar told us which wines to pair with our food which was spot on. If you’re looking for somewhere to go with your friends or family I would highly recommend the social.

We have been going here for lunch and dinner almost every week now for a while. It is a lovely spot, outside seating on Park Lane great little suntrap of the sun is out. Very pleasant watching the world go back. Lunch has some great value offers with about 4 lunch deals all amazing and dinner is slightly different menu and also great. The food quality is fantastic and we love going here. The staff are laid back and lovely and thought it was time I reviewed the place. Get yourself down you won’t be disappointed but if you can you must book the place is bursting at lunch and dinner most days especially when we go at weekends.

Been three times in the last couple of months, food has been fantastic each time. Staff were always very pleasant and friendly. Also there are some excellent deals on the food, so it’s great value for good quality food. The place is dog friendly which is a bonus for me. Thanks to the pizza chef for giving my dog some ham while we waited 👍

We popped in this evening on the off chance we could get a table…. Winner, they had one available. We had such a lovely meal, the food was 10/10. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic place. Home made outstanding food and generous portions. Comfortable setting and well priced wine. My new favourite.

We came as a family of 5 and found the food to be fantastic and the staff attentive couldn’t fault it I had the tortellini The staff we very attentive , the cocktails were great and the team made us feel we could eat anything off the evening menu even though it was lunch time

We went with the highest expectations - a long journey - voted the best trattoria in uk 40 minutes for the first course to be served and very few tables occupied - good food though Main course another 30 minutes and the gamberetti so salty to be inedible The diavolo pizza ordered and was misordered by your team as pasta - just baffled ? please get your act together -

We dined at this establishment for a family meal over the weekend, marking our third visit. Once more, it exceeded our expectations with its delicious food, exceptional service, and very reasonable prices. We can’t wait to return and try the spaghetti bolognese, which looks absolutely amazing.

We chose from the Christmas menu - really lovely choice. Food was excellent and a wonderful combination of flavours . I ate salmon starter with lovely crunchy beetroot and husband had turkey meatballs. We both had the pasta with Italian sausage for main course. Presentation and flavours were really nice. Best meal out we have had for a while. Washed down with a glass of prosecco - what's not to like !!

Nicest meal we’ve been out for in a long time, will definitely be returning. Food was incredible and couldn’t fault the service.

Family early evening out with three children under 6. Prompt , and efficient, so the kids were not kept waiting which was brilliant. Food excellent and generous and fairly priced. Totally recommend

Gorgeous food and great service. Came with friends on Thursday evening, loved it so much returned on Friday with family.

Authentic quality Italian cuisine, our first visit but certainly a place we will return to to sample more of the delicious menu

The chicken wings are a great addition to the menu. Some fabulous pasta dishes and wines. Can’t fault the service - always a friendly vibe.

Outstanding food. We did the lunchtime menu which was great value for money. Wood fired pizza and the panini was actually pizza dough which was really light. All very fresh. Lovely staff.

An impromptu visit for a bite to eat on a sunny Tuesday evening. This place was absolutely buzzing-great atmosphere, lovely staff & good quality food and drink…what’s not to like! Well done to Will, Daniel & all of the team as we know how hard they’ve all worked to create this wonderful place.

The food was absolutely to die for, we were from outside the area and were unsure were to go, we got chatting to the manager and he was very polite and friendly so we chose to go in, highly recommend this place

My new favourite place in Poynton. Staff were lovely. Food was incredible, service was so quick even with is being busy on a Friday night. Will be going there very often from now on. Had an amazing pizza and the drinks were fantastic! definitely recommend.

Been to this restaurant a couple times of times and unfortunately we won’t be going back. The menu isn’t great and now the risotto has been removed off it. We were party of 11 and none of us enjoyed the food, the garlic bread and pizzas were all burnt, the lasagne meat def wasn’t mince meat and the pasta was just tasteless.

Once again stunning food, drinks and service. Even though a busy summer evening the staff were great. I can recommend the chicken wings! Can’t wait to return.
