Piccolino - Knutsford in Cheshire East

Thoroughly good food, and impeccable service from Ruby. The best bit was the crab ravioli, which was rather wonderful.

For the prices I was very disappointed, food was not enjoyable it’s a shame because I normally love piccolino’s. Pasta wasn’t cooked right and flavourless, everything we got was very bland. service was very slow, extortionate for what we got.

My family took me here for mother’s day . None of us had eaten here before but reviews were good so we decided to go and glad to say we were not disappointed. Great food and drinks menu and a cozy atmosphere all counts for a great evening catching up over delicious food. My choice for starters was the calamari , followed by my favourite main in an Italian (but something I rarely have as I'm trying to loose a few pounds), namely pasta carbonara which was simply nothing short of exquisite. Dessert was a delicious Italian tiramisu which was a treat in itself. Great drink choices too. I enjoyed more than a few double pink gins. Service was flawless and management and staff very friendly. Hannah at the bar was great with My gin recommendations. Such a lovely girl with great hospitality skills. We will definitely make a return visit here.

My son took me here last Saturday and I’m so happy he did. The service from Piero was great the carbonara was great and the bartender hannah was very helpful.

Nice and bright lovely restaurant with excellent staff, everything beautifully laid out and clean you can tell they take pride in the restaurant. The pizzas were amazing and my mate loved his calzone. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu! 10/10

Possibly one of the nicest experiences of dining out I've ever had. The customer service was beyond fantastic - they go above and beyond for you. The wait staff are great, Hannah at the bar was great, the managers were great. The food was, dare I say it, probably the best I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection and really high quality and decent portion sizes as well. We will be returning. Thank you for making my husband and I's first date night in almost a year so memorable and special.

Me and my friend enjoyed our night so much! The food was so delicious and went perfectly with the wine recommended by Hannah. Lily was serving us and was so thoughtful, welcoming and friendly! All the staff were amazing. So lovely! We will definitely come back!

Our first visit to Piccolino and it was such a pleasant surprise. The beautiful decor, friendly staff and amazing food were second to none. It was my birthday and the staff presented me with lovely dessert and all sang Happy Birthday . We will certainly be visiting again.

Always love Gusto ,I always give a good review ( still waiting for my free pizza though 😉🤣🤣) it's a great place to meet for a quick bite or sit down and get dirty the food is very rich so be careful the scales will not lie about your visit ,money, well expect to pay between £10-20 per person add on a few drinks and it can get expensive ,however sometimes you just have to say sod it and tuc in my personal fav is slow cooked meatballs in a tomato sauce with grated Gran Moravia cheese ( oh my days 🤤🤤🤤)

Sorry I arrived about 9pm by myself on a Wednesday! I thought I'd order a beer whilst I was waiting and I'd have a glass of wine with my dinner - seemed sensible if not a little indulgent. I ordered a calzone. It normally takes a little time so what I wasn't expecting was my dinner to arrive before any of my drinks! But I soon realised why! Limp and almost tasteless would be a good description, the wine however was lovely. I do wonder had they known I was going a 'reki' for a meeting I have in a few months time for 15 people would it have been different? Ah well, we'll never know but Gusto a few doors down booked.

We popped in for a meal to celebrate my husband’s new job. The service we received from Florin was impeccable. Food was great, although some dishes slightly more pricey than you would expect.

The worst Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Mainly bread croutons tossed into lettuce leaves. Minimal Chicken and no dressing until I asked for some . There must have been a loaf of bread in there !!!

We had a lovely meal with great food and superb service. We had two family members with allergies and the staff were meticulous in their checking of all the dishes that were brought out. We eat out frequently but their concern over the allergies was something very special. Highly recommended!

my husband already left a review but i just had To leave another one. We went for mother’s day and it was great. The kids menus is comprehensive and finally mini adult portions not junk food. The service, food, atmosphere, staff and overall experience was impeccable. I had the Tagliolini al tartufo OMG! delicious. seriously you have to try it. A few months ago i visited piccolinos and my waiter- Liam- was absolutely brilliant, he made us laugh and absolutely made our night. I cannot wait to revisit and hope that Liam serves us again.

Excellent meal and atmosphere, rhe service was a little slow but that was due to it being mother's day and booked solidly throughout the day. But they were very attentive when they did come to the table.

I am blown away by the incredible food and atmosphere and brilliant staff here. Yes the food is more on the expensive side but the experience is well worth it. I forgot the name of the name of the lady who greeted us (carly?) but she was lovely and took our jackets from us. Hanna behind the bar was super helpful with wine options but the star was ruby our waitress . She was so so helpful and took care of us so well through the night. 5 star service from all and everyone in the restaurant

The prices are high so you expect great food. However, a garlic bread starter was badly charred, Calzone pizza was lacking filling and a chicken main had few vegetables. Drinks prices are high. Overall poor value for money.

Very good customer care, lovely interiors & pleasant outside dining (next to the restaurant) which we enjoyed. If something is not right with the food, they will quickly amend, be very flexible to help put things right. this is very good customer care of the restaurant. We shall be returning.

Booked for my wife’s birthday because we had enjoyed the place before however it was a big disappointment today. I’ve cold tomatoes on bruschetta to start followed by grey looking crab ravioli floating in watery liquid. Stuffing was slimy and pasta edges were hard. Just looked unappetising. Dotted with bits of tomato and very tired basil leaves

I and my friend are both black and had dinner there yesterday. All I wanted was to catch up with each other after not seeing them for years. They decided we’d have dinner at her favourite restaurant. However, I was not prepared for the mistreatment we were both going to face there. All the staff including The waiter acted As if they did not want us there (there were no other people of colour in the restaurant). We thought maybe it’s because we had been sitting there for a while, but other people had been in the restaurant for much longer than us and they did not receive this type behaviour! Knowing the prejudice surrounding black people in very white areas-such as knutsford we tried extremely hard to be extra nice to the staff. To avoid any stares. Apparently that was not enough. we both left piccolinos feeling watched, uncomfortable and un-welcomed. We both live in knutsford and it’s sad we still can’t eat in our hometown without receiving stares and discriminatory behaviour. If you are black/POC I’d say save your money and eat somewhere else!

lovely food and helpful staff. only comment would be that it seemed that the people around us who arrived later than us, managed to get their food a lot quicker than ours. other than that it was an enjoyable experience

It was my 71st birthday and family took us as a treat. Food was lovely and we were looked after as soon as we arrived. I was also treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday with a lovely sweet treat. Thank you everyone.

A special celebration and a dinner and setting to match. Having recently been to The Grove in Chandler's Cross and being underwhelmed, we were hoping for a better experience in Knutsdord. Great service from start to finish, Cocktails, starters of focaccia, bruschetta and gamberoni were really good and promptly served. Mains of Tuna, Salmon tagliatelle, calzone pizza and my star dish of carpaccio and funghi pizza were all superb. Desserts were, somehow, squeezed in and a very pleasant bill followed! Faultless in quality and service. No higher praise.

We attended on Friday for a birthday meal and there was a party of 10. We all ordered drinks and then the food order was taken. We had decided on mains and desserts and to skip starters. It was around 50 mins before the mains was served and a few people found their food was not hot enough. Mine was especially cold and when I mentioned it to the waiter he asked if I wanted it reheating. Now I appreciate most places probably do reheat food but I did find it was a bit of a poor way to respond. It was served back to me and was hot but was not enjoyable at all. 3 of us had the same dish and 2 of us couldn’t finish it due to tasting so poor and for nearly £20 for 8 pieces of pasta the presentation could have been better. The opinion from the rest of the table was pretty similar on that the food was no more than ok. I couldn’t finish the meal and also due to the standard of food with the mains did not order a dessert. The wine was nice however. Don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Had a delicious meal to celebrate my daughter’s GCSE Results. We were served by Florin who ensured our dietary requirements were met ( dairy free) and who had a great sense of humour which added to our lovely evening, thank you.

We were here for a birthday - a mix of adults in their 80s and young children from 4 months. The staff were so patient and kind to all of us and very accommodating. The food was great. Thank you to all the staff!!

First time here, and I'm really disappointed. It's a lovely looking restaurant and reasonably attentive staff. It's a very noisy restaurant, and the odd dance music they played was irritating. The food was very disappointing. We had one starter go back, as it was burned and un seasoned, but then I ordered the Lasagne, which was really bad! Seriously overcooked, dry, and very stodgy. Unfortunately, it's the worst Lasagne I can recall having in my life! i was too embarrassed to complain again. The chef should also be embarrassed for producing such poor quality food. Not cheap, either. Sadly, I don't think I'd go back..

Hardly any gravy on Sunday roast, had to ask 3 times for more. Was originally told there was no chicken at 16:00PM then it was magically found. I will stick to the alderley edge restaurant. Staff are more inviting and pleasant.

I’m working for Nxtep Personal Training, the luxury gym in King Street. I came to Piccolino twice and both occasions I’ve been treated really well and had a great time eating really good food. A particular thanks to Antonio and Elisa for their assistance. I’ll come again for sure.
