The best restaurants serving Italian food in Northumberland North East

We stayed in the little b&b room with our little dog, the room had everything we needed clean comfortable, private and only the sound of the sheep bleating to keep us company. So a great nights sleep. Lovely breakfast as well. Traditional pub in a lovely village with friendly staff will definitely book again.

Superb value for money authentic Italian restaurant. Lunch deal is £13 (mon-thur): potato skins or soup, any pizza or pasta, coffee or ice cream. Friendly Italian staff, lovely food. A great find, we'll be back!

Stayed in Alston on a Wednesday night and this amazing pizza van arrived! The pizzas were freshly made, ready in 5 minutes and delicious! The staff on the van were very friendly and happy to make a pizza whichever way you wanted it.

I’ve been lucky enough to experience Flat Earth a few times and there’s always something different. Imaginative use of flavours, all ingredients home made, such a refreshing change from the usual take away offering.

Absolutely beautiful food and service, can't fault anything, kids meals amazing value especially for the quality 👌 I had prawns and they were cooked beautifully, honestly can't recommend this place enough, will definitely be back

Celebrated a wedding here and the staff were amazing , very professional and efficient . Food was top notch we will definitely come again next time we are up north.

Had a takeaway of cannelloni and lasagne. Am delighted to say the new (ish) owners have done a fantastic job in there with the food. Definitely recommend it

What a fantastic little gem.. Advice contact or go in and leave number and they call you when table free.. We went 6.30 got call 7pm Staff amazing female owner working the tables was so warm and chatty, very informative and very efficient . Food cooked to order so please be patient and wait .. Lasagna was the best I have ever had , pasta so soft and ragu very blended and tasty with plenty of sauce .. Fantastic place , price and staff

We’ve been here a couple of times now, when friends have asked us along. The first impression is that the room is laid out like a canteen and lacks atmosphere. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes and allergens so that was impressive. I think the overall value for money is decent too. Unfortunately, I don’t think the quality is amazing. A little too much grease for me and my chips were too thick for my liking, although great that they were homemade. It’s my least favourite Italian that I’ve been too in Hexham but I’d go back if I had to. I’d only score as average as that was my combined experience.

Very cosy, seemed busy but with ample room you wouldn't notice how busy it can be, fantastic food and fast table service, staff very helpful, for the high quality food etc the prices are really good value, the restaurant is tucked away down one of the many little side alleys, but we'll worth the time to find!!! 5 star all round

Visited after reading many amazing reviews and it didn't disappoint. Lovely food, good portions and reasonably priced. Will definitely return. ETA: Been 3 times now, had something different every time we've been and never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

An absolute gem of a restaurant, we thoroughly enjoy everything about this place, the menu, the staff, the food, the service, as far as we are concerned it is all perfect.

Visited this place again when visiting on our half term family getaway. We always come here every holiday and always greeted warmly. Once we are in the area we will be back again for sure.
