The best restaurants serving Italian food in Northumberland North East

This pub is fantastic! The location is great to explore the Northumberland National Park. The food is well considered with a "rapid" lunch menu, and a full menu with specials. Obviously made from scratch with care. Flavours are exceptional showing great attention to detail. Cosy log burning stove in bar. Friendly service. We only popped in for lunch on a bike ride on a Monday in November, but we'll be coming back as soon as possible to enjoy everything properly with an overnight stay!!

Superb value for money authentic Italian restaurant. Lunch deal is £13 (mon-thur): potato skins or soup, any pizza or pasta, coffee or ice cream. Friendly Italian staff, lovely food. A great find, we'll be back!

Stayed in Alston on a Wednesday night and this amazing pizza van arrived! The pizzas were freshly made, ready in 5 minutes and delicious! The staff on the van were very friendly and happy to make a pizza whichever way you wanted it.

I’ve been lucky enough to experience Flat Earth a few times and there’s always something different. Imaginative use of flavours, all ingredients home made, such a refreshing change from the usual take away offering.

First time I have been food was lovely and alyho we were a large party the service was very quick would definitely recommend the Lollo Rosso Italia

I am reviewing this as a takeaway I’ve heard good things about this from lots of people. So I tried for myself and honestly I don’t see the hype it is not worth the money it cost at all 1 bbq chicken pizza 1 fajita pizza with added on jalapeños 2 pots of garlic mayo The grand total over £30 Which I wouldn’t of minded if it was amazing but it just wasn’t I’ve had better supermarket pizzas to be honest

What a lovely restaurant... the service was friendly and the foid was delicious. The Baileys cheesecake was by far the best cheesecake I've ever had!

Great service and great food at reasonable prices. Something for everybody. Had a few starters to share (garlic bread, calamari, skins), and also shared dessert. Brilliant no nonsense tiramisu! Highly recommend if visiting Amble or need somewhere for a nice occasion.

I thought I would visit Milan for a steak but I was bitterly disappointed, I asked for medium to well done and it was pink, I pointed this out to a member of staff and she said it was because of the thickness of the stake under nonsense, they deducted the £4 sauce and that was it we as a family have been a big supporter of this restaurant but not now.

Visited this place again when visiting on our half term family getaway. We always come here every holiday and always greeted warmly. Once we are in the area we will be back again for sure.
