The best restaurants serving Italian food in North Tyneside North East

Have used The Kitchen many times but tried the Sunday Lunch for the first time last weekend. As we live near we collected rather than use the delivery service. The meals were cooked to perfection, nice and hot, fresh veg, crispy Yorkies and loads of meat, we had one chicken meal and one beef meal. Meat was tasty and lean. We were very impressed and will definitely be using again for Sunday Lunch

More of a cafe style interior rather than a restaurant but the food is absolutely top notch with great friendly staff

Great little spot with lovely food and great service, would recommend as one of the best eats i've tried so far in north shields. Will be back with a bottle of wine next time since it's BYOB

Love this place, genuine Italian family business. Please make rum & raisin and coconut ice cream. Great staff and very helpful.

i went for a family meal today and food was 10/10,i got the 3 course lunch special for only 5.95 i couldn’t recommend it more,customer service was amazing we were very well looked after.staff also couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.Will definitely be returning!! Definitely the best pizzas on the coast!

Authentic family run restaurant with nice Italian atmosphere. Good menu all freshly cooked. This is our 3rd visit and we will be back next time we visit Southport. PS Free parking.

Lovely lunch, very reasonably priced, very close to the beach. Staff were all great. Big portions too

4 of us visited this small, but welcoming restaurant , part of the Dorset Arms Hotel.The food was well prepared and presented by our lovely waitress ( Rebecca). The service was good and the price very reasonable. A very good house white wine complemented the Chicken dishes. Well worth a visit, we will certainly return in the future.

Ideal para casual, pareja o familia. Ambiente era genial! Llegó y las bebidas pedido muy rápido, entrantes pedidos estaban allí dentro de unos 5 - 10 minutos y estamos tan sabroso (sopa de minestrona y hongos de ajo) delicioso! Ordenó la red al mismo tiempo que los arrancadores tan pronto como tomaron los arrancadores la red no se quedó atrás. Pasta romaní y lasaña (la mejor lasaña que he probado). El servicio de los camareros es genial. Absolutamente me encantó!

Excellent meal. Great venue in one of the railway buildings next to the platform. Lovely choice of food. Generous portion size and reasonable prices. Polite and efficient service even on a busy Friday evening.

4 of us went here for mums birthday. We got the prawns for starter. They were OK. We got the Tuesday special which was 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. We got that twice. When the steaks arrived they were so tough. That was all 4 of them. The only thing that was lovely were the chips.We told the waitress but nothing more was said. We should have complained further. We won't be returning and as a birthday meal for mum it was a disaster

Excellent service and staff value for money

Have been to sambuca 1 many times since 2020 I usually have calzone pizza and my partner lasagne.my pizza was fine. But my partners lasagne came its usually steaming hot .but this time not bubbling but overflowing with tomato sauce but on delving in my partner was very dissatisfied four lairs of pasta like I said overflowed with sauce but very little mince .she was looking forward to her lasagna as its been a while . it is normally red-hot full of mince and flavour but not this time another thing we witnessed 2 different staff one of whom the big lad as going round clearing up spent to much time chatting to others diners about 10-15mins. Instead of serving other diners there have been 2 changes in staff since 2020 the latest additions not very attentive .
