Chiara Sambuca in North Tyneside

I visit this place once a month if not more frequent. Great staff always helpful, great attitude towards customers and very friendly. I would suggest booking on a Sunday as it is always very busy.

It was packed when we arrived but the staff were brilliant and found us a table. The food and drinks are well priced and the meal itself was very nice.

Great Sunday lunch, very busy but fitted us in after a 15 minute wait. Well worth it excellent veg soup hot and tasty bowl full. 4 Sunday lunches to all superb hot tasty and plentiful. Fab staff, friendly and attentive. Great job.

Amazing food. Just happened to pass and get a table. Glad we did, the burger and gluten free pizza were amazing. Friendly and attentive staff, plus food arrived quickly even though it was busy.

First timer at Sambuccas. Sunday lunch was finished, so settled for a tasty burger. Don't often eat them, however this was delicious. Reasonable price and very friendly young staff. Mission accomplished.

Had the cheap set menu. Pizza was really nice. Can't fault it, only problem was the girl with very long dark hair screeching and carrying on behind the bar so give it 4 stars. She was very helpful to an old man but very loud behind the bar, not how I expect staff to go on.

Absolutely brilliant place and the food was stupendous. I ordered the cajun steak pasta and was spicy bit too spicy but was delicious and finished the plate. The service was excellent and cheery. First time visiting but I will definitely be returning.

First time visit but will be back. Went last minute without booking and they were very helpful. The food for everyone was beautiful and served very quick despite it being busy. Highly recommend and we will be back

Family meal out. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was all delicious, very big portions though. Seafood platter on the special menu was a highlight. Would definitely recommend and was outstanding value for the price.

I had mostly spaghetti and very little bolognese, also the cream in the coffee was off and wasn't proper cream either. The service and staff were excellent though and the coffee was replaced immediately, will go back.

Hands down the best 3 course meal I've ever had, £17.95 is an absolute bargain and the staff are excellent and give a warm welcome. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

Need cheering up come here. Staff are fab. Great lunch time deals too.

My wife and I chose here for a meal on May 1st. The service was fantastic as was the food and the prices are so low. Go here and avoid the terrible service at The Shio's Cat along the road.

Great food. Friendly service. Was £52 for a ribeye steak and parmo meal + bottle of house red .

The speed of service is great however while the food was hot and fresh it did feel a little bit fast food service to eat and be out within 40 minutes.

It was fab grub. No complaints from me. Oh yeah fillet steak was not medium . Rare in the middle but I still enjoyed 😉

Food was great got the hot smash burger was good the sauce and the fresh chillis made it perfect 👌🏼

Gorgeous steak on the three course special and the house wine is good too. Service is great and everyone is really friendly and helpful.

Food was OK but not great. One of 7 of us was ill. Probably the prawns off the starter. Staff were great. Chicken Kiev wasn't great. Dry butterfly chicken breast wasn't nice. Chips were amazing.

Food is always great, service fab, just wish they’d turn down the music as it’s often difficult to hold a conversation. (Can be off putting to neurodivergent families)

I am a fish lover ( to eat that is😀) and this is the best ever. The mussels are sooo fresh and perfectly cooked plus amazing steak for the meat eaters. The service is faultless with mostly young staff who are very friendly and lovely atmosphere. Great wine and drinks selection just to add to the amazing food. Just go and try it . You won't be disappointed ❤️.

Had lunch with my family. What a lovely meal for £7.95. The mushroom pizza was delicious. Certainly by far the best Sambucca we have ever been. Well done.

Didn’t cater for vegans even though we phoned and they say they did.only option was soup so i had a pizza base with tomato sauce and garlic sprinkles .didn’t have any vegan desserts .they also charge extra for gluten free pizza bases which is out of order .there was bad delivery to table and brought there wrong ones to the table .

I have visited Cassia many times over the years with friends and family. I recently went with my partner and felt disappointed. Usually, the staff are more interactive. However when our order was taken he didn't look at us was to busy looking around no interaction at all. Felt very rushed with the food arriving quickly and empty plates whisked away. The food was as always very good and delicious. I'm not sure I will be rushing back...

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Essen und ging auch sehr schnell. Warum keine 5 Sterne? Weil ich verdammt noch mal britisches Bier zum Essen haben möchte. Schließlich sind wir hier in England und nicht in Irland oder Italien. Ok, ist ein italienisches Restaurant, das immerhin auch spezielle englische Gerichte auf der Speisekarte hat...

Service wasn’t great, waiters kept forgetting drinks so had to ask again. Waiter nearly took one of my friends tooth out when lifting dishes. And to top it off, we were charged for an extra pasta dish and drink that we didn’t have but staff were adamant we underpaid. Our bill was £152.15. Our payments didn’t balance with what they had took and we were made to feel embarrassed. When we have left and sat down to work it out, we figured out the extra charges but didn’t want to deal with poor service again.

Delicious food well presented. Whole experience felt very rushed and inpersonal. Was seated and served my food within 10 minutes of everything no chance to sit and relax and enjoy my experience. Waiter was very blunt and uncaring only interested in flipping the table as quickly as possible. Not the style of experience I'm interested in felt like they only saw a bill and not a couple trying to enjoy a intimate meal together on a Saturday afternoon. Will not be back unless I need fed in record time and turfed out.

Went with my wife and daughter for dinner. Staff and service were fantastic, food was delicious, we had risotto, pasta, steak. Food came out very quick, staff very attentive, highly recommend this establishment.

As usual good price, great service and cannot complain about the quality of food or wine !!! Fillet steak is amazing and Danny is the best host around Same again, best value ever cheers Danny and Pepe (Aka Jordan - for best fillet steak in about 10 years !!!).

Was on visit from Cumbria Beautiful restaurant food Amaxing sevice was Unreal our waiter Steve was fantastic never had such a friendly happy waiter ever than him he is so jolly and makes this place amazing and Friendly will. Definitely be back on our next visit to North shields

Food fab as always but 4 birthdays was one too many very noisy night lol

The worst sambuca we've been in...tables who came in after us being served first ( must have lost our order) being asked what we were waiting for so this was obvious. Food was just OK although the garlic bread was paper thin it resembled a popadom. Nobody asked how the food was during our meal. We much prefer the chester le street and Newcastle sambuca, staff are far more attentive and food much better. Wouldn't recommend maybe try sambuca 1 a few doors down.
