The best restaurants serving Italian food in Bishop's Lambeth London

We were a party of 7, 2 were small children and the staff at the Baker St restaurant were so great; getting us a table, high chairs and colouring in stuff. Fantastic food! Usually with pizza you’re drinking so much water, but not here. Our first time at Franca Manca. Loved it.

Cheaper to get a flight to Italy and get the real deal. A gelateria like this should have a queue down lower march, and would if it sold it a £1 a scoop!

Great Italian food. We had a gluten free person and they had lots of options for GF. Desert also was great with good selection of GF choices. They have a fair selection of vegetarian options as well. Dont forget to ask for the chili oil if you like your food spicy. The owner was very nice talking to all the customers.

One of the best pastas in the city. Amazing atmosphere good quality food and everything delicious. I highly recommend this place.

True Italian service and food Dash of Italy in ❤️ of London

BEWARE STAFF MEMBER TRIED TO SCAM ME. I went here with my daughter for dinner before we went to the 02 for an event. I paid for the bill with card and luckily I got a copy of the card receipt to show the payment was authorised, once we arrived at the 02 I received a number of calls from a London Landline and a mobile which I didn’t recognise. I wasn’t going to answer as the show was about to begin but as the calls were persistent I thought it must be something urgent, I answered the call and the man at the end of the phone said it was Matteo from STRADA where we had just been and that my card payment hadn’t gone through. I said I was sure it had and he said it hadn’t and said he would WhatsApp me a link to make payment. Luckily I found my receipt showing the authorisation and sent this and he said oh sorry it’s just gone through . This is disgusting as if I hadn’t taken the receipt then I would have had to pay again! Please be very careful. There are much better restaurants to go to in the area. We also found the staff to be rude and had to ask twice for my daughter’s drink.

Really cosy restaurant with great service. My ravioli asparagus was really delicious. The antipasti starters were good; especially the bread.

Pour un expresso c'est un expresso à l'image d'un café en Italie ! Le percolateur est impressionnant . Le service est assuré par de très jeunes gens peu qualifiés compte tenu des difficultés rencontrées par la serveuse pour séparer les blancs des jaunes d'oeufs afin de refaire de la pâte à gaufres qui d'ailleurs me fut servie avec un manque de cuisson . A leur décharge il s'agissait de la première de la journée !
