I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this establishment. The pizzas were exceptional, with the sourdough crust adding a wholesome touch. Saad, our waiter, provided outstanding service, further enhancing the overall experience.

Went to Franco Manca Waterloo last Thursday and had an amazing meal. Went with family and a 10 years old. He loved the pizza. Everything was great. Pizza delicious and the meats platter was great too. We were served by Przmek who was amazing. Food delicious, service great, atmosphere great. Definitely recommend

We came to the Waterloo restaurant on 30/06/2024 around 8PM with a friend who was visiting from abroad for the weekend and was very excited for a fantastic experience again, after prior visits in Borough Market and Covent Garden venues during her prior holiday in UK. We were greeted nicely, sat almost immediately and the menus have been given. Considering we all were in FM before there was no need for the menu and service explanation as we knew how it all works. After several minutes the drink order has been taken, while we were still deciding what to eat. There was a significant wait for the drinks to be delivered ( or at least that was our impression) After the food order has been taken we were patiently waiting, whilst the restaurant got slightly busy, yet there was one person greeting new guests and taking the orders, while tables left by previous guests weren't cleaned, nor prepared for walk-in customers - the whole floor looked rather messy and seemed no one had control over it. At some point there was 2 other members of staff, who slowly started to clean the floor or running the food, but the miscommunication between the team was very visible, as food were delivered to wrong tables, food was served before drinks arrived and there was a sense of overall confusion. Once we got our food we wanted to get some salt, but team members on the floor seemed to be oblivious to our gentle hints to get their attention, and we actually had to stop one person in order to ask for it (neither of us wanted to wave or be the"excuse me"customers) During our meal we finished our drinks, yet no one offered a top up. No one just came and ask whether we are enjoying the food, if we have received everything we ordered, maybe we want to order more (up selling point) or do we want another drink (second selling point) At this point we finished our food and asked for the bill, as shortly after 9pm the initial waiter started to close the outside. Due to the fact we were celebrating our friend bday we ordered a dessert, which has been served within 5 mins, but on separate bill (?) We were not very impressed with the service to begin with, but we considered the time (an hour before closing and it was Sunday and no one want to work Sundays). but we never received the bill - our waiter was closing outside station, additional team member had an eye contact with myself, nodded and carried on to clean the sauces, the girl who ran the food before just vanished from the floor, so there was no one to ask for the bill Since our server was closing outside area and had headphones with music on full blast, he never heard us asking for the bill (3 times) until my friend waved at him and stood in the waiter way to get the attention. The waiter response was - "there were other people in the restaurant who you could ask for the bill" - this is not necessarily the answer you want to hear, as a paying customer (I am sure you have the records on CCTV) I absolutely love FM - this particular experience wont prevent me from coming back, but I definitely wont visit Waterloo branch again. As a hospitality professional with 20 years of experience I would strongly suggest customer service training.

The eggplant starter was delicious and the pizza was superb! The wait staff found us a table even though we did not have a reservation and the service was very prompt.

ottima pizzeria a Londra, zona Waterloo, mangiata pizza margherita (si chiama in altra maniera, mi sembra sia la numero 2 del menu), leggermente alta tipo Napoletana, ottima, prezzo onestissimo. La consiglio assolutamente

45 minute wait for pizzas during which we realised no one else was getting a pizza, staff did not inform us of any delay eventually said there was only one pizza chef but that still didn't explain the delay in an almost completely empty restaurant mid afternoon

Great service and great advice. With a lot of patience and a lot of attention, the customer is offered a lot and feels very taken care of and familiar.

Excellent, as ever and excellent value for money. It’s weekly dad and son day together and the kids menu and the pizzas are a hit with both of us. Went to the Waterloo restaurant today and fantastic service from Saad. Over and above to make us feel comfortable and look after our every need. Shame this isn’t my local one but will making an effort to come here more often thanks to Saad.

Very attentive servers, specifically Saad, he was very helpful and patient when explaining the menu. Pizza was very good and filling.

Birthday lunch for 9 including 1 gluten-free guest. The booking process was smooth, and the restaurant dealt with two changes of numbers pleasantly and positively. Booking confirmed by text the day before, which was comforting when original booking was by phone. We had a wonderful lunch. Pizza good as we expected. Restaurant busy but tables spread out that it never felt intrusively so. Service efficient and just got down to it - no “my name is Alphonso, I’m going go to be your server today and your best friend”. It was as Italian service should be. All sorted out by Saad, to whom we are grateful.

I recently dined at Franco Manca in Waterloo and had a wonderfully satisfying experience. The waiter was Jonathan. The highlight of my meal was the vegetarian special, which was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors that truly showcased the quality of the ingredients used. Each bite was a delightful journey through a medley of textures and tastes, perfectly complement.

It is a super nice pizza place with friendly service in Waterloo. Cosy and delicious pizzas. You're served super fast ideal for a quick stop to eat!

Excellent service, friendly and approachable staff, priemell was the consummate host, nothing was too much trouble. Beware of pizza number 7 it’s for the brave only- spicy is a tame description! The pizza bases are addictive and the wine equally so.

Solid pizzas but nothing spectacular. We’re overly dry and not generous on toppings. You’ll find better pizza in the area.
