LENA'S in Lambeth

Food was good, but the worst service I have experienced anywhere - and the bar is pretty low. We were a brought the wrong first course b waitress cleared the table before my wife had finished eating c deserted and ignored for a full hour before the next course arrived. It was disgraceful - and such a pity , I have been using the shop for decades and it was my wife's birthday.

El servicio es increíble, tanto el propietario como el personal son agradables y nos hacen sentir bienvenidos, nos sentimos realmente bienvenidos. Las pizzas son las mejores que he comido fuera de Italia y la pasta se siente como una delicia, no muy salada como la que se suele encontrar cuando se come fuera. Ingredientes de calidad en cantidad generosa, muy bien de precio, así como el vino, siempre servidos a la temperatura adecuada. Bien hecho, sigan con el buen trabajo, nos encanta visitar su establecimiento.

Vine a Clapham por trabajo, entré solo y el personal era muy amable y hablador. La comida era muy buena. Fui allí las dos noches y habría hecho felizmente una tercera. Me hubiera gustado continuar por el menú! Gran valor también. El pan casero era una adición encantadora también!

We were on a vacation trip to London and were looking for a family friendly restaurant with great food without breaking the bank. We found it! Great food and even better service, what else can you wish for! An absolute recommendation, we even went there twice.

I have eaten at Lena's twice now and on both occasions have been immensely impressed by the food and service. The staff are very friendly, even when the restaurant is busy they take the time to ensure all diners are happy. The food. WOW. I have had the seafood linguine and it's one of the most authentic I have tasted especially in London. My girlfriend (who is Italian) believes it to be one of the best Italian meals she's had in the city. Affordable and delicious, Lena's delivers quality every time. Battersea is lucky to have it.

I’ve lived in Battersea for years, only to see this restaurant change hands frequently. I had been passing Lenas for a while, not really being interested in going in as the previous owners food I wasn’t so keen on. Me and my mum thought we would just give it a go - I’m really glad I did. We were warmly greeted by the owner and one of his friends, who were sat having lunch. We had a nice little table in the corner of the restaurant not too far from the pizza oven, that was spectacular to look at, and super warm to be sat not too far from. We ordered a few things, and it’s safe to say I was very skeptical, as this little restaurant has changed hands so many times. Me and my mum had the Burratta, garlic bread, dough balls with garlic butter, scallops and some extra bread. The food was FANTASTIC. It was fresh, high quality food. I can not fault Lenas on there food. The atmosphere was warm, and it was lovely to get to know Andy and his team. I wish nothing but the best for Lenas and i highly recommend anyone living in the Battersea area to head over to Lenas.

I recently held my daughter's first birthday lunch at Lena's and what can I say, Andrew and the team are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble and they done their very best to ensure the timings, food and service was outstanding! Fresh pasta, fresh dough, great food and lovely welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend, the tuna pizza is my favourite!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is our second time eating at Lenas and already can’t wait to go again! Bruschetta and calamari/zucchini to start was fantastic. Andy the owner let us try the scallops and they were beautiful - fresh from the fish monger that day! The pizza and quality of the dough here is what makes this place so unique. The dough was prepared that day and we watched as our food was made and cooked in the pizza oven. The calzone is still, in my humble opinion, the best I have had in London! The dough is so tasty and cooked perfectly that it is like eating in Italy 🇮🇹 My wife had the mushroom risotto which was delicious. It is evident that Andy (the owner) and Chris (the Pizza chef) care about the quality of food and service. This is quickly becoming a firm favourite with affordable prices and can’t wait to see what the new refurb will bring!

The Food is full off Flavour, The Pizzas are amazing, there is so much choice on their menu and it really tastes authentic and hand made.... the owner and staff are super friendly..... a South London Hidden Gem you have to visit .... oh yes and the prices are really reasonable to.

Where do I start? Lena's is absolutely fantastic! The owner was so friendly and attentive, greeting us like old friends and chatting with us. The food was some of the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy, went two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much. I can not recommend Lena's enough, friendly, delicious and affordable; what else do you need? We will be returning here many more times.

We had such a good time at Lena's. The food was delicious and the owner was lovely. We got Garlic Bread, Carbonara, Diavola, and Tiramisu and they were all so good. We will definitely be coming back many times

We had such a good evening. The pizza was really good, and we had the best brownie-icecreme dessert ever! Our waiter was super nice and funny, and there was a really nice atmosphere. Overall a really nice evening.

There is a good range on the pretty extensive menu. We settled for Pizza and it was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to please. He took the time to chat and showed a genuine interest in his customers. I would definitely recommend this place

Fantastic atmosphere and excellent food. We tend to frequent a lot of Italian restaurants as a family and this has got to be the one of the best we have been to. The calzone in particular was beautiful. If you’re looking for a warm, friendly atmosphere that does excellent food - look no further. Definitely will be going back!

A group of us had an informal Christmas gathering at Lena’s and it was amazing! The food was excellent and the staff were beyond compare! Absolute highest recommendation! If you are looking for a great local restaurant for a family meal- you should absolutely go here!

Best seafood risotto I’ve had in London- generous with ingredients and portions.. seasoned well.. food arrived piping hot .. TLC from chef and evidently passion from chef came through the food. I had no idea it was going to be that good. Thankyou

The reviews were good so I was expecting a good takeaway. My friend and I ordered the risotto al funghi porcini. It was mushy, watery, and tasteless. So bad we through it away. Lena’s were too arrogant to accept this, wouldn’t ever eat from here...

we visited with a voucher and had great antipasti and pizzas, the mushroom with truffle oil was amazing. Very good pizza dough and nice reasonable wine, also I had a grappa which was lovely and fiery after the affogato. Many thanks xxxx

The food is just superb. The quality is amazing, fresh with deeply rich flavours. The restaurant is humble but homely. The prices are very reasonable. Overall Lena's is great value for money.
