Served by a youngish Spanish guy who was dressed immaculately in his suit. When was the last time you were served in a coffee shop by someone wearing a suit? He whipped up two great lattes, one extra hot as coffee is never hot enough for me when travelling, in no time at all. It certainly beat the instant coffee in the room that we didn’t bother with. The coffee shop is on the main floor of the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge and for early risers is open at 6-30 am.

We asked for a hot vanilla latte and an iced caramel latte. Instead I got a hot caramel latte and my husband got the iced vanilla latte (which seriously tasted like dirt). This was after we were asked 3 times to repeat our order. There was no one in the coffee shop when we arrived and two staff members working. I'm unsure how this became so complicated but we tossed them in the garbage and replaced them with Starbucks.

Ordered two hot drinks and two pieces of cake for my wife and I. Wife got to bottom of her Mocha and found a bristle from the dishwasher at the bottom! Drink was replaced, price of drinks for both removed from the bill and 10% discount on rest of bill. Cheesecake was a little dry. Glass of water on arrival was nice touch. Attentive staff who were horrified at wife finding the bristle. Huge advertising screen a little distracting.

Worst experience ever. The lunch menu is very limited and the food portion is very small for way overpriced food. not worth it at all. Will never come back.

Visitamos para el desayuno y teníamos el inglés completo, salió frío, así que pedimos que se calentara, nos lo quitaron y volvimos a comprar la misma temperatura, así que lo comimos, fue el peor desayuno que hemos tenido, bajo cocido huevos, frijoles fríos, tostadas duras y más grasa que la carne en el tocino, le sugiero que vaya al pub al otro lado de la calle para el brunch, ya que tiene que ser una mejor opción y probablemente tengan algo de cuidado en sus ofrendas, 32 desperdiciados. El café era bueno pero eso es todo. Comida horrible!

After tasting all these Italian coffee chains (Concerto, Nero, Costa, etc..), we must say that Illy is the best, by far. The shops, especially this one at the ground floor of the Park Plaza Hotel, are nice, white and clean. And all the coffee specialities are delicious, especially ristrettos and machiatos, which clearly show the coffee taste. Croissants and other pastries are also good. Expensive, but more or less same as all the others but with more quality.

The Illy cafe was great with good service and food, it was great having somewhere to go sit and work while waiting for my room

Look at this dirty cup, I was not able to drink the juice.I visited here as a business purpose. I made an order of a salad and juice. Park plaza is the one of great hotel in London, but disappointed by the dirty cup from illy.

I don't understand how a caffe doesn't have cream for coffee. I found the tea and coffee substandard compared to our coffee and tea here in Canada.

This cafe is an order at the counter type but there is seating provided. A limited menu. It is convenient if you are in a hurry and want a light meal or snack.

This illy Caffe is located in the same building as the Park Plaza hotel. Basic service, not the friendliest one. Coffee was great. No vegan options at all to eat. Free hotel WiFi worked just fine. Good size coffee place but not very cozy setup.

The space is neat and elegant, not crowded and the music pleasant for both conversations and work. Fresh pastry on the counter, and great coffee in your cup. What else to ask for in central London?

We enjoyed a couple of visits here for a quick cup of tea + snack. The café is clean, bright and, although small, the tables are not too close together. I can recommend their fruit cheesecake and the sultana scones. They also do sandwiches, biscuits and salad boxes. The tea was lovely.

We dropped off our bags and needed a quick lunch before heading into town. The range of food is not vast but it is fresh and a very fair price for London. For a quick lunch, you will struggle to find better.

While visiting Illy early one morning the line was quite long and there was only one employee. I would like to compliment Viorica. She handled each customer with excellent professionalism in what is a fast-paced environment that time of day. I was very impressed. She is a keeper and will go a long way.

The bar is located in Hotel Plaza ground floor just 2 minutes from London eye. Kind service and good coffee in nice atmosphere. All tables have charging point for phones and laptops!

Atendimento excelente e ágil, tem local p sentar em balcão ou mesas. A qualidade é boa e tem opções suficientes p um bom café da manhã com preço bom! Com aprox 7 libras é possível tomar capuccino grande, um croissant recheado e uma banana. Recomendo!

We had coffee here for 5 days in a row as guests of the Park Plaza.Feedback would be....There is an actual method to heating milk to serve with a coffee. These guys are masters in the art of random. I never once saw a barista place their hand on the jug to gauge heat. Or use a thermometer. The milk was either frothed like a 1980s cappucino bar or barely steamed. In spite of this we had a couple of takeaway flat whites every morning as we can't function without coffee and there is nothing expect for a Starbucks nearby. Every day we wanted a ham and cheese croissant but these were sold out on 2 of 5 occasions. Similarly the muffins were sold out too by 9am. The staff were very nice, but this place seemed to operate in a vacuum of transient staff who had no idea how to make a proper coffee. Some days our coffee was delicious, but for the most part the milk was all froth and meant our coffees were to strong, and Illy is a decent strong cup so you need proper milk. A captive audience means this is likely to remain a twilight zone of random coffee quality...

Pedí un chocolate a un chico súper amable y simpático (Salvatore) que me recomendó sentarme en la mesita de la esquina, y cuando fui me dí cuenta que tenía vista al puente y al BIG BEN desde allí! Fue muy amable y me ayudó con informaciones. La chica rubia que lo preparó fue muy simpática también y el local muy moderno, limpio y agradable. Hoy volveré a por otro chocolate!! Came here to have a quick espresso and some food. The procedure of making the coffees takes very long, the staff seemed unorganized. I never expected scratched chairs and faulty tables in a Park Plaza, but they proved me wrong. The furniture definitely needs to be replaced because the leather is cracked.
