Siamo venuti a Londra per il week end e cercando un posto dove mangiare siamo entrati in questo bel locale, dove oltre ad aver mangiato bene abbiamo ascoltato ottima musica spagnola suonata dal vivo. La cucina è un mix tra cucina italiana e spagnola.

One of the best pastas in the city. Amazing atmosphere good quality food and everything delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Terrible, tasteless food with very poor presentation. A steak presented on a side plate. Over priced! Massive disappointment.

This place could be amazing but it really wasn’t. What a shame. It boasts that you’re going to be blown away by a Spanish guitarist playing, and actually, she was brilliant, however, she plays one song every 30 mins and then doubles up as your server and waitress! Very odd. What does she do cook the food also?! On to the food, very very overpriced for what it was. To top it off the fried potatoes were served cold and the choice was limited. Oh and don’t take your cost off or you’ll freeze to death. Gutted to walk past other restaurants nearby that were full, warm and actually had an atmosphere. Disappointed is not the word

Amazing find! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, live guitar music and outstanding food. 100% recommend - a real hidden gem. We stumbled across Strings when we were staying over the road in the Park Plaza, and we were so glad we did. We received a warm welcome from the moment we sat down and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The guitar music was such a lovely addition to the evening, and the tapas was to die for! We went as a couple but the place was full of both couples and families, all of whom seemed to be enjoying the experience. 100% would come back next time I’m in central London.

Siamo stati allo strings, locale adiacente ponte westminster/london eye per capodanno, cena con due menu italiani a scelta di pesce o di terra. Noi abbiamo preferito quello di pesce: tentacoli di polpo, paccheri con gamberi, filetto di branzino, tiramisu e caffe. Cena di ottima qualita, servizio molto accurato, ambiente molto familiare, buon rapporto qualita prezzo. Saltuariamente il titolare persona assai disponibile offre gradevoli esibizioni artistiche utilizzando la sua chitarra. Sicuramente da ritornare! Consiglierei di classificare locale tra ristoranti italiani anziche spagnoli per corretta valutazione.

So bad my girlfriend fell asleep! That’s no exaggeration! We were booked for a 8pm sitting - but by 11:30 we still hadn’t received our desert so gave up on it! The way time was so long my girlfriend elected to take a nap - I know it was NYE but please, if you can’t accommodate the number of guests you‘ve booked you really need to reconsider your staffing and capacity. The wait staff forgot our drinks twice, they put my used cutlery back on the table instead of replacing it between meals - not to mention the awkwardness when the guitar started! It wasn’t that the guitarist was bad - it’s just that he demanded complete silence and attention during his performance! The looks we received from him and the staff if we dared talk during his performance could have killed! And - what’s even sadder is that I had to pay £250 for the pleasure, which was no pleasure at all! Food was pretty average… all in all a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons - lamentable to the core.

Good restaurant, well placed for County Hall and Westminster Bridge area, and makes a change from the Japanese and Italian restaurants around. Service good and food also. Tapas menu for two very generous. Friendly and efficient. We came for pre-theatre lunch and were not disappointed.

We found this restaurant by chance and it was a pleasant discovery: nice fusion between Spanish and Italian dishes, friendly service, nice atmosphere. The dishes were well presented and tasty and last but not the least one of the best espresso in London. An address to remember for the next trip to London

Great place, great host! Surprisingly Santy played for us a wonderful version of „Aranjuez“. He is an excellent guitarist, too!

Pesto with almonds? Oversalted. Pasta was quite greasy with poor olive oil. No seasoning on the steak, which was cook to the desired temperature but was a bit tough. Expensive for what it is. They tell you at the end of the meal “gratuity not included.” Live guitar music lasted for 5 minutes. Rip off place, far better places within a few steps. Cost 90 £ for two, water to drink, two entrees, one appetizer.

Very kid, friendly and a warm and attentive staff. The food was very lovely. We shared a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced and very delicious. The icing on the cake; my husband and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, and when the owner discovered this, he played a very special guitar solo for us!

What a find in London!!! My husband and I had been sightseeing all day so on our return to the hotel, so we stopped at The Strings. The lunch menu had a variety of sizes of entrees (tapas, seafood, meats, pastas, and desserts). We decided the charcuterie plate, the waitress suggested their bread. Delicious! We enjoyed our leisurely lunch with a glass of wine. We decided to go back for dinner after seeing the dinner menu. Another great meal. The owner sat down at our table and played several tunes on his guitar. We felt very special. The restaurant is near many London attractions. So if you are near Big Ben or The Eye, stop by The Strings.

This was the most unexpected and wonderful dinner we had while in London. All of the food was delicious. the service was incredible, and the ambiance with the addition of the live classical guitar music was amazing. It was the perfect end to our time in London and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Delicious food, cocktails, wine, and dessert. Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal.

Wow absolutely incredible classical guitar and then every single dish was amazing! It was authentic Spanish flavored dishes, Italian al dente pasta, incredibly tasting tiramisu and sorbet that was so so good.

Wow! The Strings is a hidden gem at west end of Westminster Bridge. Santy, the owner-chef-musician, does it all at this tapas & live classical guitar restaurant. All dishes were delicious and the mini concerts were just fantastic. Encore!

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our tour of the Big Ben, Eye areas and were so impressed with their food, ambiance and service. Great selection with vegetarian options. Prices were reasonable especially for the 'high traffic' area. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
