The best restaurants serving Italian food in Havering London

I went to Marleys in Benfleet. The staff was fantastic, the food was fantastic as usual, but I went on mothers day & the price was £45.00 for starters & main course (way over priced) then another £10.00 if you wanted dessert (way over priced) £55.00 in total. When booked this it was not explained. They had a live singer which was lovely, but way too loud, so you couldn't talk (which was not explained when booking). Not on the website either. My main gripes is: it was way overpriced. I love this restaurant, but I do not think I will be returning any time soon........what a rip off. I could have gone to a lovely Italian restaurant in hanningfield for £ £40.00 for a three course meal & a fantastic meal

Great taste, Excellent service, Reasonable prices. The guy at reception “Nafees” is a polite and friendly person. Highly Recommended

We arrived at 6.30 and had a table booked for 6 adults and 5 children. Staff were friendly but the service was slow and they were not attentive. When we needed drinks I had to walk to the bar as we were not being asked and then I had to ask again as they still did not arrive. After an hour the manager asked if we had eaten and we said we had only had starters. She said she would get the kitchen to make the food. The food was poor quality (the garlic bread with cheese was mostly without cheese) and two of the pasta dishes didn’t have the extra chillies asked for. When I went to the bar, staff were standing there on their phones whilst people were complaining all over the restaurant. We were not kept up to date with what was happening or informed of any delay. When asked we were told they were short staffed and had a lot of walk in customer. The whole experience was poor. Food was not great. Communication was nonexistent. Staff were friendly but not doing their job or providing a good service. I won’t be going back.

It is our go to spot for meals, caters for my step mums allergies (Plenty of GF options). The food is stunning, I could eat everyday & Giovanni is one of the nicest people & takes good care of the customers. P.S tiramisu is a MUST

Absolutely disgusting, ordered a home delivery which was cold, so contacted the restaurant for a replacement for the full order. Waited a further 30 minutes to receive food that was like eating a burnt flip flop, I promise you I am genuine. Was the worst takeaway by far I have ever had. Save your money go elsewhere.

Do not order from here!! We had very bad experience today ordered at 6:30pm and waited about an hour as our pizza had not arrived so I tried calling them And when I tried calling them no response for 2 hours! And when I finally got through to Milano all I got was excuses that there was no driver and when I asked for a refund they just refused to give me one and they hung up the phone call. I ended up going to their doorstep to ask for a refund! Extremely bad service will never be ordering from them again. Stay away

Very bad experience. Got food poisoned, vomitted everything out in the middle if the night and went sleepless with heavy gastric issues. Ordered Tandoori Chicken and Chicken TIkka Masala. Tandoori Chicken wasnt any great with soggy masala, just pasted red in color. Chicken Tikka masala was SUGAR SYRUP! They advertise one thing and what arrives is not 1% matching to it. I never had such a pathetic experience from any shops so far. There should be some food quality inspections done for these kind of shops.

If I could rate a zero then I would. Turned up for late lunch to be served by a girl who didn’t understand any English so my bacon sandwich order she fishy understand, So another server took over and paid, waited 20ish minutes for my sandwich, everyone who came in after me got their food and I was still waiting. So asking another server where my lunch was apparently order got lost somewhere over the rainbow I guess, then 5 minutes passed and a complimentary fresh tea arrived took a bite from my very late bacon sandwich and it was dry as a bone no butter, so took up sandwich and owner/manager said apparently about allergies that’s why they don’t butter them, ridiculous why not ask customer first instead of just not doing it, so I asked for a refund of my money which they did and I left, I really should’ve read the reviews first before entering, your loss della continental!
