Wait to long for food cold inside No idea on food hygiene man from shopping centre collects rubbish cross contamination no washing if hands

Had I realised what a poor establishment this was I would have never considered eating here. The food is less than appetising and poorly presented with very small portions. Certainty not worth the cost.

Food was awful stale cold bread that was suposildly toasted, one of them was on a paper plate? Not even real turkey just cheap packet stuff, no butter on the breads, awful

We entered and was directed to a table. Sat for awhile until I realised it wasn’t waitress taking orders. You have to go to the till and pay upfront. That’s normally a No No for me, but gave it a go. Waited 20 minutes before ours meals arrived. Not happy

I am a vegan and they were really helpful. I had a veggie breakfast without egg. It was lovely. With a Apple, orange and kiwi juice. My daughter had veggie breakfast and juice £16.96 I am not complaining

My partner and I just ate breakfast in this cafe. We were given our cutlery and it was dirty. When the food arrived it was cold. Also used the toilet which was not very clean and the floor was soaking wet. I told the person who brung out the food and collected the finished with plates. It seems I was ignored. This was a disabled toilet which could be very dangerous for some with disabilities. There was no wet floor signs any where to be seen. I was just visiting the Mercury shopping centre but I will not be going to this cafe again should I return.

We popped into this little cafe on the first floor in the Liberty Centre in Romford Shopping Centre (opposite Peacocks) and discovered an absolute gem. One of us I anaphylactic to tomatoes, and the chefs went to great lengths to ensure our food was prepared in a separate part of the kitchen to avoid contamination. When the food arrived it was piping hot and very tasty indeed. The lady who took our orders and served our lunch was lovely and checked to ensure that our food was to our liking. It was more than to our liking, it was delicious. They have an all day breakfast as well as an extensive menu. The cafe is really clean and quite spacious. It was clear to see how popular it is by the number of other diners. We will certainly be recommending this to our family and friends.

I had coffee. It was fantastic and I was impressed with the customer service. I order it and it arrives in less than 5 minutes. Restaurant Staff was really very friendly

I went there with friends and ordered their special burgers, pizza and pasta! Oh my dear, everything was delicious. Can't wait to visit them again.

Earlier today I popped in for my usual cappuccino coffee. This was delivered completely flat – no foam whatsoever on top. I politely spoke to one of the servers and she had a word with the guy there (about 12.25 pm) and she returned with some money and I said that I had requested a new coffee and off she goes back to the guy again only for him to gave her some money to hand back to me but with no coffee and no apologies whatsoever. I was really taken back that I was treated like this and walked out and got on the bus to return home. On checking the money I was given I was £1 short but I had put this in my pocket and had not noticed until I was on the bus. I am not quibbling about the money but the way I was treated. I have visited this place many times in the past both on my own and with friends, and have enough points to warrant a free coffee. In hindsight I should have created a fuss and made other customers in the restaurant aware of what was happening and how I was being treated. I would be interested in management looking into the above and in particular have words with that guy! Where is his Customer Services skills!

After waiting for a seat, my family and I ordered our food. My brother's food was a tiny portioned lukewarm english breakfast meal but it was sad to say that he had the best meal out of all us. My sister and my meal took at least 25 minutes...they were paninis. My sister ordered garlic sauce, I had herb. The panini itself was depressing. Bad bread, barely any of the filling, lack of seasoning, lukewarm. For more than £5. Then, I bit into my panini to taste nothing other than burger sauce. I most definitely did not order burger sauce with a zucchini and aubergine panini. So politely we complained only to get a rude response of "I don't know what I'm going to do about it." from the waitress. Then, what appeared to have been the manage came over. He then, instead of apologizing for the simple mishap, proceeded to try to convince me that what was by all accounts burger sauce, was actually some "five-sauce" concoction. It was infuriating. I had my panini redone, as depressing as before, but at least no burger sauce in sight. Save yourself, the trouble, the Mcdonalds next door has better food for better value for money.

My partner and I had lunch at Caffe della Terra today. Staff greeted us and we were given the menu and sat at our table. However they did not come to get our order, and after a while we realized that you must order at the till.... Nobody told us that... We ordered 2 breakfasts and after 35 minutes we wondered whether the chef had quit his job... we complained to the waitress who went to check and said "another couple of minutes".... eventually after we complained to another waitress, the food arrived. Only the egg and baked beans were warmed, the mushrooms, sausage and hash were cold... We quickly ate and left, never to return.

Rubbish service, rude employee's. And waited over 10 mins just for a americano and it was quite in the cafe, plus coffee was a little cold. Will not be going again.

Bought a vegan Blackcurrant Crumble slice to take away. Very bland with little flavour in it. I'm not a vegan myself, but this hardly encourages me to head in that direction.

My husband and I called into this place about 1.00pm today 9th October. The toasted teacake had very little fruit and no flavour and my husband's cheese and bacon toasted sandwich tasted like plastic with lumpy bits, he told me. Most unpleasant. I visited the toilet and was not impressed, the doors are disgusting, either need a good disinfectant wash or repainting and the toilet check sign was dated 1st October and had not been signed since the first day it was put there. See photographs. We shall not be returning.

This is a really good spot right in the entry of Mercury Gardens, I have visited around 8 times and always got the same feeling. Look like people never have work before. This last time we sat in the empty place next to another couple that just ordered and no one came to ask if we wanted something or anything ( I know they are expecting you to order in the bar, but having no one they could let you know that you should go to the bar to order) Anyway we have a chat for half an hour and still the food didn't came to the couple next to us and they decided to leave. We ordered three coffees and the waiter brought the coffees one at the time really shaking making us afraid that he could drop them on us. The order was wrong but we just drunk it because we couldn't be bothered. The service is really slow and confusing there but still is a nice place even if you want just to sit and relax in the middle of the mall.

The food and sandwiches are very good and much better than costa as is the food. The only bit they really need to improve is ordering there seems to be a lack of English so this can be difficult as it seems unorganised and you can wait far to long.

The staff in this cafe are always helpful, they have a good selection of food, I like their toasted sarnies & the pasta (cooked to order), their cakes are good too. Handy place to eat at when in Romford.

After visiting a few times for lunch was looking forward to our visit today but left feeling very disappointed they had stopped selling the rolls we liked, then they couldn’t do a plain bacon sandwich had to have egg and bacon so we ordered that but asked for no egg and we also had a chicken & bacon toasted cheese sandwich the bacon sandwich arrived with the egg and the chicken & bacon toastie had hardly any chicken & bacon in more like a thin paste I asked to speak to the manager and politely said about our food I wish I hadn’t bothered after working in a customer service environment for 20 plus years I would not want someone to leave my shop dissatisfied and not wanting to return especially as they have not been open long but the manager practically shrugged her shoulders and had a take it or leave it attitude. We have lunch in Romford once or twice a week we will not be returning.

Whilst placing my order at the counter the girl asked “do you want two?” I wasn’t sure what she was referring to so I repeated my order to her she seemed quite offended at this. Then she asked do you want glass and ice for your cokes I said yes, she turned and said 2 glasses no ice, I thought maybe I’d heard her wrong didn’t say anything. I was given a number and made my way to the table. Our hot drinks were brought over and then 2 more came so I asked if we had been charged for 4 drinks or 2 as my receipt had only the payment on it and not the items. The waitress didn’t understand and I had to repeat it, she went off and a while later a lady came and said do you want an itemized bill, I tried to explain I just wanted to check she went off and came back with someone else’s bill then tried to argue that this was mine until I showed her my receipt and pointed out it was for a different amount she took both off then came back printing out that I’d only been charged for one drink as the other came with the breakfast - I said I only wanted to check she seemed under the impression I was complaining which I wasn’t she kept repeating that I’d only been charged for one drink, I then had a sip of my latte which was flavored and very sweet. I asked if I could have a plain latte which was what I’d asked for and was told we are Italian this is how they taste, found her whole attitude really odd. Meanwhile the family next to us had ordered a tuna sandwich, this was brought out toasted, they went back made another and the little girl couldn’t eat it as it was full of black pepper really full. The same woman said to the Dad we are Italian this is how we make it, no offer of a plain one at all, in the end she had cheese instead. Strange place even stranger attitude.

Came here for lunch with a friend and will not be revisiting. A few things, The staff were unfriendly or helpful, we ordered a frozen drink and they brought us something else, when questioned said they didn’t do them. My panini that I ordered was cold and covered in black pepper and my friends lunch took 35minutes to arrive which by that point I had finished and she ate alone, not a welcoming or accommodating atmosphere, just disappointed.

I went here for lunch the other day. Despite the time of day, there were seats available. Probably due to the proximity of McDonalds!

I have found staff helpful. The carrot cake is the best I’ve had and the coffee was customised to my taste. Wish I knew who their cake supplier was.

Went in for a coffee, found it expensive for such small cups and found the coffee quite bitter. Staff are not that friendly but it’s clean and tidy

Just visited this caffe Terra. We were 3 adults and 2 very young children. We were greeted and shown to our seats with a menu. After a 20 minutes wait, I asked the waiter if we could place our order, however he said that we must order our food at the till, which nobody told us when we arrived. Anyway I went to the till to place the order, paid, and the girl said: get your coke from the fridge.....After what seemed like an eternity, our food started to arrive (1 wrap and 2 sandwiches) all at different times. The food itself was good, especially the cappuccinos. However the service should improve, as the younger waiters looked like they were doing you a favour.....No manners also (get the coke from the fridge)..... what about a please would you mind to get your coke from the fridge.... Will not go again.

OMG this place serves the best coffee ever. I am truly addicted to their cappacino. It's tastes like coffee should and is always hot rather than a cup of luke warm milk with a dash of coffee that you get in Starbucks or Costa.

We were looking for a brunch type breakfast and came across this cafe. It's a cross between a coffee shop; milk bar and a traditional British caf. Very clean, friendly staff and good food. The coffee was also good, which is a refreshing change.

Starving walking around Romford on Sunday. Was going to grab something from Asda when I saw a sign in a window advertising Gluten free toasted sandwiches!!
