Della Continental in Havering

If I could rate a zero then I would. Turned up for late lunch to be served by a girl who didn’t understand any English so my bacon sandwich order she fishy understand, So another server took over and paid, waited 20ish minutes for my sandwich, everyone who came in after me got their food and I was still waiting. So asking another server where my lunch was apparently order got lost somewhere over the rainbow I guess, then 5 minutes passed and a complimentary fresh tea arrived took a bite from my very late bacon sandwich and it was dry as a bone no butter, so took up sandwich and owner/manager said apparently about allergies that’s why they don’t butter them, ridiculous why not ask customer first instead of just not doing it, so I asked for a refund of my money which they did and I left, I really should’ve read the reviews first before entering, your loss della continental!

Food was awful, wasn't real bacon or sausage. Bread rolls were not buttered. Wish we had gone McDonalds next door as much most of us didn't fancy burgers. All have bad stomachs. 1 point for the coffee, that and I couldn't leave zero.

So we had. a sausage roll and a sausage and bacon roll. Took a while to be brought out. Rolls not buttered. Sausages were floppy and a wierd grey brown colour. Sort of like a boiled sausage, not browned off at all. Bacon cut in 50mm x 20mm bits. Was it even bacon. Ate half of it. Left the rest. Both of us have been ill today with a bad tummy. Never again. Should be shut down.

A lot of negative reviews but it's my favorite breakfast place. The main plus points for me is that it's quiet (other breakfast spots in the area have music so loud it's like noise pollution) and I can read, it's an attractive place to sit and stare. I have the same food every time and it's nice. Staff are friendly

We waited 40 minutes for a pizza and a chicken carbonara. They gave us a poorly made pizza and a bacon carbonara that looked like scrambled eggs. We tried to eat it to be polite but it was grim. Never again.

Terrible service. Missing food. Not particularly clean. Food sub standard. Ordered an omlette and a toastie. So so omlette turned up after 10 mins. No toastie. Chased hadnt been ordered. Chased again after another 15 mins hadnts been ordered again. Left after getting refund. Looking for somewhere to eat…id keep looking if i was you. Never going there again.

The Tea was very good Unfortunately the young lady washed the floor but did not wash her hands Before bringing our food The cheese and onion toastie was skimpy and the onions were not cooked The sausage roll was hard and tough Sorry to give a bad review, the place itself was very inviting It just needs a little tweak it could be really good I am reluctant to return

We met my sister while the kids where in Drama my wife order a coffee, raspberry blue Berry muffin, a toasted chicken & Bacon sandwich and can of drink came to £10.92. They gave my wife the wrong muffin even though she asked twice and the payment didn't go through so they came over for us to pay again so my wife did. We where left sitting and no coffee or toasted sandwich came over so after 20 mins I asked the women where is our stuff? She went behind the counter spoke to a woman who turned and gave us a stare and the girl went to look at the recipe to see what we had ordered even though I showed her we paid £10.92 she then put the sandwich in the toaster and started making coffee. We had to go and asked for it to be take away. We had no sincere apology from the staff I told them how poor there service is and we would not return again. The place wasn't even busy about 3 other couples in there.

I paid £4.99 for a magic bag from Cafe Della Continental in Romford which was meant to be worth £15. I have been on cafe della continentals website. The items I had are priced as follows: Can of 7up: £1.90 Sausage roll: £??? ISN'T EVEN ON THEIR MENU! muffin: £1.90 Total: £3.80 THIS ISNT EVEN TO THE VALUE OF WHAT I PAID!!!! When i arrived at 17:25 the shop was shut despite it saying I could collect up until 17:50. The woman told me she’d closed early and was about to go home. No magic bag had been prepared. I was then given a can of 7 up, a sausage roll & a muffin before being hurried out the door because she wanted to go home. This WAS NOT WORTH £15!!!! TOO GOOD 2 GO are you going acknowledge this negative review (like you do the good ones) and actually respond to this review this time & explain why you think it’s ok for your retailers to rip off your customers like this????

I have passed this cafe several times going to (and coming back from) work, including when it was closed due to the lock-down. I finally decided to give it a try, and liked the food, the nice clean look of the cafe and the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, something which is always a bonus. I will definitely visite it again!

This is the first time since lockdown I've visited Della, in the past it's been very good coffee and food also staff were good. Today 22nd May I ordered one med latte and a toasted tea cake. I waited about 5 mins which is OK, the girl fetched the coffee to my table and slopped it in the saucer and table and never bothered to attempt to mop it up. It was one of the worst coffee I've had in there, it was flat and tasted awful, the only good thing was it was hot. The tea cake was ok. Also as your nearing the end of my drink the staff seem keen to get you out. The latte normally is very good with I nice frothy head on it.
