The best restaurants serving Italian food in Mancroft Norwich East of England

Visited yesterday after England v Denmark. We ordered burger and pizza ( extra olives ), prepared before our eyes, brilliant customer service, both burger and pizza were delicious, cannot recommend highly enough, you must visit!

Great newly opened breakfast and lunch venue , excellent breakfast, brilliant lunch and sandwiches, freshly made coffee , clean and well renovated and above all friendly, happy staff . Absolutely really nice place.

Always popping in for the pistachio ice-cream. It is one of the nicest things ever! I have tried many of the flavours and they are all fabulous.

Deep dish pizza with a crispy base. Tastes good enough but nothing special. Restaurant is cute and staff are friendly and welcoming. If you like deep dish pizza then this is the place for you.

The food is had here was delicious. I had the dough balls and the carbonara pizza. The portion of dough balls was very generous with a matching cup of garlic butter. The pizza was well cooked with a lovely combination of flavours. My only criticism is that the actual restaurant itself is quite dark and not particularly atmospheric. I think with some better lighting and a few more decorations it would make it perfect.

Excellent vegetarian choices, imaginative and very tasty. Serving staff are very professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly!

Great experience from start to finish. Service was great, lovely lady. Food was delicious. My husband said it was the best steak he has had out for a long long time. I had the veal, it was delicious. Clean tidy. Will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

Have been a few times when in the city. Superb Pizza, and tremendous Pasta. Great authentic Italian Food. Small and informal dining.

Lovely little Italian in the city - nice atmosphere, good service and excellent menu . Food is light and sauces skilfully made : not heavy and very well flavoured . Desserts were also excellent- the cheesecake and the profiteroles get a special mention. All round a great experience for a small family meal and will definitely return .

I’ve been both for lunch and dinner on different occasions, both pre-theatre, and enjoyed both experiences very much. Friendly service in a pleasant airy space excellently sited near the Norwich market and close to most other major attractions. The Norwich Theatre Royal was less than 5 minute walk away. The food, both from the evening and lunch time menus was excellent. I’ll definitely be back again.

Horribly crowded, trying to manoeuvre through people carrying plates of food. Food, average. Prawns were so overcooked they disintegrated. Very few veg, no chow mein, chop suey, Chinese veg. No vegetables with Indian selection. Ice cream tasteless. Expensive buffet serving cheap food with Expensive drinks. On the plus side wonderful, cheerful smiling staff. All of them. I really do not understand the 5 star reviews!!

First time at Bella Italia and it did not disappoint. Food was great and our server, Ilona, was very welcoming and was very attentive. Will be back again!

Had been recommended to visit. Atmosphere of staff was not a happy team, but efficient. Starter:garlic bread was lovely Main chicken appollo appeared like it was a ready meal, not that tasty. Chips:very poor. Took on the appearance of oven chips Dessert: pancake, disappointed it was not warm, in fact it looked and tasted like a fresh shop version and certainly not made on the premises. Pour quality chocolate sauce. Better pancake at a farm shop in honingham with excellent presentation and taste. We were presented with our bill followed by a prompt “ are you ready to pay” For what we thought would be the real Italian experience, we were disappointed. £40 including 1 sift drink. Better eateries on the same street so we won’t be returning.

I would give less stars if i was only judging the food. The pasta was four times over cooked. But I didn’t care because I had a great time. Due to Jack our server… (and we used our Clubcard points) Recognised this guy from his previous Italian job … Lucky to have had such great service in both establishments from Jack. He shares expertise and passion for the food whilst maintaining loyalty to the brand. What a gem. He should have his own place, for sure.
