The new refurbished COSMO is so beautiful. A great variety of food which is so much more tastier than before 😋😋 I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends and families 👍👍

I recently visited and overall, I had a solid experience. The food was pretty good, especially the Hong Kong Noodles and Prawn, which I really enjoyed. Though the drinks could use a bit more variety and the Char Siu was a bit on the dry side. The atmosphere was lively and the service was great, which added to the dining experience. I'd love to see Chinese congee on the menu next time!

Great value for money. Not the best food in the world, but you won't leave hungry!! A perfect place to go with family who all fancy something different

Waited for reopen back to fav place, food all cold, no one came to take drinks order ordered at counter and told drinks more expensive if ordered away from table. Disappointed, and sadly wont be returning after being regular for a fair amount of time now.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the custard buns – the best I've had in ages! The staff were top-notch, making the atmosphere really enjoyable. I booked a table for 9 people! I have been living in another country for 2 years. We decided to visit Norwich and we really wanted to eat in Cosmo, we received reminders in the e-mail not to forget about the reservation. The reservation was for January 26! Birthday of an important person! On January 25, I received another reminder. How surprised I was and the 8 people who were with me when at Cosmo Norwich city it turned out that the restaurant had been closed for several WEEKS!!! and it will only be open in February?! What a lack of organization, we are very disappointed!

Usually very very busy which isn't great for anxiety...however, food is normally delicious sometimes overcooked but better over than under, other than that it's a great place to go and very modernly designed and always clean!

Absolutely brilliant I had a gastric sleeve last year so unable to eat much but the manager was excellent and agreed for me to pay half price which for me was great. It meant that I could go out for a lovely meal with family and thoroughly enjoy the night. So thank you 😊

This was our fifth family visit to Cosmo Norwich. We booked a table for five on December 28, 2024, to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. Since it was a Saturday, we didn’t expect anything special from Cosmo, like a free meal for the birthday person or a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. However, our experience this time was deeply disappointing. When my children brought their food to the table (a main dish and a dessert at the same time), a waitress approached us and said, “I know it’s different in your culture, but we are a buffet restaurant...” She then proceeded to explain how a buffet works. I’ve traveled extensively and visited dozens of “all-you-can-eat” restaurants worldwide, so I am fully aware of how the system works. Bringing up “my culture” in this context was both rude and discriminatory. Instead of saying something kind to my daughter on her 16th birthday—especially since I had informed the staff about it upon arrival—the waitress ignored this and gave us a condescending lecture about buffet etiquette. This interaction completely ruined the mood of our birthday celebration. I lost my appetite entirely and couldn’t eat a thing. Ironically, I observed other tables wasting large amounts of food without receiving any reprimand from the staff. For the record, in “my culture,” wasting food is considered a sin. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Cosmo Norwich to anyone. It is far from the “all-you-can-eat” experience it claims to provide.

Amazing variety of food from different areas of the world definitely more of an experience as well as a restaurant. Kind and friendly staff and a very busy atmosphere, will definitely be going again as couldn't try everything.

Average food, decent selection, expensive and chaotic

It's what it is....Food is ok but plates are small and the cutlery is hard to manage. Fork seem to have problems digging in and knives are hard to cut with, can cause problems and tired two sets If you have a soft drink one is expensive, and the bar service is lame though I believe you have to pull a server at your table to get an alcoholic drink, though the servers rarely bother you if at all Worth the price if you want to cane food and drink lots of soft drinks, but don't fill your plate. Other than that the food is ok, but I'd rather go out and get a fixed meal for 2/3 rds of the price Also hard to move about around people I feel, but it is what it is

Food amazing but definitely book

Decent cosmos, one of the better ones I’ve been to. Food had good variety and tepanki was great. Some starters were a bit tough and over cooked , probably due to being sat in heat for a long time. Overall decent and worth your money

First time here, it's a like food version of Primark... absolutel chaos. Can definitely see why it's popular though. Some good choices of food and some tasty treats!!! Just a bit of an overwhelming experience for SEN people.

We were seated promptly. Food was well cooked with lots of variety. You get your moneys worth. The deserts let Cosmos down, a lot of cream and no real flavours. I'd recommend Cosmos if you have fussy eaters or can't decide what food to go for. They have a great Chinese food section, deli, Asian fusion, Italian, carvery. My favourite dish is the duck pancakes with hoisin sauce and cucumber. I also really like the stir fried mushrooms at the very end of the restaurant in the Chinese food section, opposite the ice cream.

This is always a great place to go especially for a big party like a birthday! It's a nice variety of food and unlimited just means you can have a bit of everything! Price is reasonable and staff are helpful and attentive

Always a good place to eat just make sure you book first!

Great little place to bring children or hungry teens. Lots to choose from and plenty for our non dairy eaters to find something, all food clearly labelled. Slightly disorganised when looking for foods the Chinese section was split across two sections and easily took up 40% of the meal choices. All Indian food had milk, so we had to avoid that and 95% of desserts were milk based. Staff very helpful and friendly. Venue was tidy. Likely to return If it's your birthday, you can eat free but you MUST tell them before you arrive or as you book. No freebies on the day.

First time here in 9 years. Went in at 12 when it opened, great assortment of food. Very fresh and great options avaliable. Quick service and friendly staff. Will be coming back more regularly now.

A great place to take family and friends not really a dating location. This is an all you can eat with many choices of food from all over the world, including British, American and Asian foods. My only grumble is that some foods are covered in sugar like pizza and you only get the full range of foods in the evening. It's very disappointing that they charge by height as I have a 14 year old who has been over their height restrictions since she was 7 and I think charging by height is ridiculous. Anyway. Grumble over, the food is generally very good and there is a lot on offer. But as I said some things have too much sugar and others too much salt, I'm guessing so you spend more on drinks, which leads me to my last grumble. I am tired of people choosing the so called healthy option for me. If you are going to put so much salt and sugar on your food give me the option of full fat coke on your bottomless drinks. I don't want zero coke or diet coke. I want regular.... Anyway.... Despite my rants. This is a very good place to eat, very clean, lots of choices and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful I would recommend this place to everyone though again an all you can eat is probably not the best place to take a date. Some of the food was lovely, some of it was pretty poor. Extremely busy and loud. Tables very very close together so it’s almost like you’re dining with the tables next to you. Not much space to actually get up from your table to get to the buffet.

But this is a guilty pleasure food place for me, always wanting to come here with so much variety for food, definitely one of my favourite buffet places, always fill me to the brim. The discounts are needed and always received often so that combats the prices a little. Good staff and minimal interaction so you can continue stuffing your face.

I recently visited Cosmo that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, with a warm and friendly staff ready to assist. The layout was spacious, allowing for easy movement between the various food stations, which is always a plus in a buffet setting. The selection of food was impressive, featuring a diverse array of cuisines.I started with salad section, looks fresh and tasty. The main course options were plentiful, ranging from classic comfort foods like fried chicken and mac and cheese to more exotic dishes like sushi and curries. Indian curries and nan is my fav! In Chinese section i tasted all of them, was nice !. Live kitchen was so amazing , squid and salmon was very yummy with spicy and garlic sauce. I loved Pizza as well, The dessert section was a highlight , cakes, pastries, and even a chocolate fountain that was a hit with everyone. Overall, my experience at Cosmo was fantastic. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a pleasant environment made for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend Cosmo Norwich to anyone looking to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes in one place. Thank you Cosmo

Arrived at 6pm for a 6pm booking for two, to be greeted by the longest queue for a restaurant I have ever seen. Not only that, but Tina downstairs at reception was extremely rude and unwelcoming, which meant we were half tempted to cancel the booking and eat somewhere else. However, when we were finally called upstairs we were greeted by the loveliest waitress Poppy you will ever meet. She was so welcoming and apologetic for the wait. The food was mediocre, and the service was fast. Prices weren't too bad working out at £27 each for the buffet and a drink per person. Would overall recommend but improvements in the service downstairs would be fab.

Too crowded at weekends, the staff is not in time to clean around the food tables. Also the birthday free meals haven't worked for us :( it was £85 for 2 adults, 2 kids in total - like in any usual restaurant

Great variety of good produce. . Anything that you could want to eat available. Enjoy as many trips as you wish to the buffet for whatever takes your desire. Be careful when you go for freshly grilled items as this can take a while , including sirloin, salmon, squid & prawns grilled to order. Great selection of drinks . Down side , rather noisy so if your looking for ambience then this isn't the place.

We had a very great fun at cosmo but I wondered why there wasn’t a specific table for us as we kept changing table. Also we had to wait past the time we booked. Nevertheless, it was a nice place and would still go there next time

Visited here for the first time on the 16th of September. I have been to many restaurants varying from chain to Michelin star and the service I received here was second to none. Upon arriving was greeted and sat down at our table . A waitress (sorry I did not catch the name) explained everything you would need to know and more. Exceptional service and shows a very good level of training and consistency from the management team, and defiantly from my one experience think they have the right people in the business. Hats off to all the servers working that day. It is worth noting that this is an all you can eat . If you come in with the expectation you are going to eat perfect meals cooked by the best chefs in the world then you are in the wrong place however the quality is excellent and readily available. This being said value for money wise this is exceptionally good In a short sentences The service is some of the best anywhere I’ve been The food is excellent The value for money is excellent The site was clean including the toilets and tables I will be returning here in the future

The food is ok but the attitude of staff towards customers is really 1/10 . Really pathetic experience.Specially from one foreign guy If I am not wrong he was from Kerala. Such a selfish behavior towards us. In my opinion companies with a high reputation like Cosmo should be extremely careful while appointing these people with selfish and worst behavior. Faced the worst experience from a Buffet restaurant in the UK.

Good selection of food and family friendly. Selections ran out often and weren't refreshed quick enough. It is difficult to move around when busy - which it is most of the time. Could work on layout for this reason.

Food was great, Staff were friendly and helpful, to the point of being told that as we didn't pre book, we would have to wait in long que to order a drink, as staff don't serve walk ins as they only help people who have booked in advance, didn't realise management had changed the rules, been here quite a few times before and had no problems, until tonight

Great place for multiple cultural foods, the food is always cooked to perfection, certain food stations are made to order which is great so it caters to everyone's tastes. They have lifts and escalators which makes it accessible to everyone. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Every aspect of the place is very clean and inviting

Good selection of dishes, however the quality wasn't the best. On both occasions I have visited it has always been incredibly crowded and noisy. Staff were incredibly helpful in regards to my allergies on arrival though.

The food was pretty good for an all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurant, although some items were of lower quality. The staff were very polite and friendly, but the restaurant was very busy, so they were not able to provide an excellent level of service to each table. The dining room was very busy and noisy, with queues and 'human traffic jams' while trying to travel between the table and the buffet. Overall not bad for the price.

Worst customer service in Norwich I ever had. We booked the tables for an organisation dinner event before hand but had to wait 30min downstairs in a crowded area. Seems like there is some management issue. What’s the point of pre-booking if you don’t have everything prepared on time?? We also had a group discount offer and was told we just needed to fill in a questionnaire to claim the offer. However, at the till the manager told us we won’t be able to claim the offer because we didn’t give them five stars. Truly disappointed as we weren’t told of this before hand and the manager was really rude saying we were stupid for thinking that they would give us an offer for no return. The offer itself is basically a scam and the manager’s attitude ruined the event. Overall the food wasn’t that bad for a buffet and the waiters were wonderful. However, but wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t wanna have your evening ruined.

I was expecting better!! The service from the staff was very good but the food wasn't that great most of it was Chinese, the meat like ribs and wings were dry tough not fall off the bone the cut meats, over cooked other meat stuff processed, lots of noodle stuff that tasted pretty much the same, same as the pizza's. Didn't have dessert as just looked like different coloured sponge cakes and some ice cream, don't think I'll be rushing back!!
