Had amazing birthday party at Cosmo. Lots of food and tasted amazing. Good service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely go again!

I visited Cosmo on Sunday and was really impressed by the lamb curry, even though there was only sauce left with no meat. The sauce was so delicious that I didn’t mind the missing meat at first. However, when I went back for seconds, I was disappointed. Instead of refilling the dish properly, they just added a lot of water to the remaining sauce, which completely diluted the flavor. What started as an incredibly tasty curry ended up being bland and disappointing. Consistency is key, and unfortunately, they fell short. I hope they work on maintaining the quality throughout the service.

More cuisine variety than you can imagine which is not short of quality either.. Went for a family celebration (my birthday) booked online and did mention a birthday celebration.. to my absolute surprise and delight I received a mail offering m6 meal for free (with proof of dob) A great place (not plaice as little fish on offer) to have a great meal. 5 out of 5 from me

beautifully set up very clean,staff very helpful& if you need anything special they help you to get what you need lots of choices plenty to choose from & great friendly service& staff sadly some people don't think before filling there plates & glasses, a lot of waste. you don't have to fill your plates & nit eat everything before returning to fill your plates again.

It is a very fun place to go for food. Where else can you have the taste of asia on your plate then add pizza and roast dinner. Staff are very quick to remove unwanted empty plates/glasses. Very enjoyable for all the family

Our first visit for a family birthday meal. Excellent choice for standard meat eaters and vegetarians but more limited for our dairy intolerant family member. Even standard vegetable dishes had milk products in. Never had a vegetable stir fry with a milk product in. There wasn't a single vegan/ dairy free dessert option other than fruit (watermelon, lychee or oranges). Maybe one of the icecream tubs could be a dairy free option for like minded people? Other than this the staff, service, cleanliness and atmosphere was faultless. Well done Norwich Cosmos we will definitely return.👏👏👏

Middle of the road and not what it was when first opened. Gone are all the world foods and now there is English roast, some pizza, some styled Indian, some Chinese. Lots of beige …. nuggets, rings, rices, chips, etc. I went for the ribs, prawns, Chinese beef, and Chinese prawns. Shredded duck was a bit salty! Bar was expensive for canteen feel eatery - from £27 a bottle! Very canteen feel with rows of seats, lots of noise!

20 pound per person refill was a fiver drink selection was okay tbf. The food was okay. There was quite a lot of different selections. Chinese/Indian/Sunday dinner just to name a few. The desert selection was the best. Had a table for two abit cramped and could hear the tables next to you very clearly.

Customer service was amazing from the moment we went in until we paid before leaving. Definitely going back there again soon!

Great food, good place to have a birthday party,

Rude manager when complained pizza and other items cold and cheap chocolate in fountain. your pizza also had one piece of pineapple on it! A shame as waiter and waitresses were really friendly and made a fab mocktails and cocktails . The manager called me a liar and wanted to see what I ate on CCTV!! She needs customer service training! Your staff member at the till not a manager gave us two meals ... She wasn't authorised to do anything else sadly . The manager offered nothing and took ages to stop looking at CCTV. The kind staff member gave me two meals! She was a better customer focused person than manager was! very disappointed as as staying in Norwich to go to the Theatre. My friend who lives nearby will use as she didn't have the cold pizza or cheap chocolate fountain!

Service is great, kids love ir, and if you want to eat mountains of food it's the place for you. Personally I would prefer less quantity and a higher quality.

First visit, loved it!. Extremely busy (Saturday night) ALL the food was amazing, we actually did try a little of everything. We were a party of 16 and were looked after brilliantly by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole restaurant had a great feel too even being so busy. The servers/chefs too were very pleasant and accommodating. Reasonably priced. Will most definitely be back! Thank you.

Excellent place if you are a big eater and just want to try everything and fill your face, but, if like me, you do not have a big appetite probably not for you

A fun place to stuff your face with as much food as you like. Ranges from salads and sushi through to pizza, traditional English roast meat, Chinese and Indian dishes. In the evening, they have a Tepayaki bar where a chef cooks on a hot plate (such as octopus etc). The deserts lack a bit of imagination but are great if you're a kid. Drinks: you can get a refillable drink (pint glass, take this to self-service), which is good except this doesn't include Classic Coke (as I really dislike suger substitutes). There is a bar for the stronger type of drink.

This is a gem in Norwich. Buffet all you can eat for £20 and bottomless soft drinks for under £4. Loved the live cooking station , yummy and fresh !

We had a lovely evening as a family. Service was great and very attentive. Drinks order was taken very timely and food was tasty.

I wouldn’t normally write reviews however I feel it’s necessary to inform the boss / manager at Cosmos that our evening was made by the incredible Chef Juno. From the moment we arrived, Chef Juno's warmth and friendliness set the tone for a lovely evening. Chef Juno not only prepared the most amazingly cooked meat but also took the time to personally greet us and share fascinating stories. What truly stood out was Chef Juno's genuine enthusiasm and dedication to ensuring that every guest had a memorable experience. His attentiveness and willingness to accommodate special requests made us feel exceptionally valued and welcomed. If you're looking for an amazing dining experience with a personal touch, I highly recommend visiting Cosmos and experiencing the magic of Chef Juno. He truly made our evening special, and we can't wait to return!

Lovely food and fantastic prices for all you can eat.

Great buffet and a reason price. The selection is great. Food quality wasn't as high as it could be but given the nature of the restaurant it isnt unexpected.

Simply fabulous. Eat as much as you can buffet. Excellent freshly cooked food and the staff here are brilliant too.

Loads of really good food. The trick is to have small portions and lots of them.

Family meal. Busy = noisy. Food was the same as normal. Lamb tasted different this time. No ice-cream in a bowl, has to be a cone. Soft drinks, like other places taste watery. Not rushed to leave. Toilets.

Large selection of different dishes. Some good, Some okay, Worth the money.

It's a buffet place so obviously you'll find varieties of food. However, there was egg in almost all the vegetarian dishes including rice. Few vegan or pure vegetarian choices. Though the place is worth for a non vegetarian as there is a wide variety of snacks, main course & desserts. The atmosphere is good but it smells weird because of mixed cuisine... there's a strong meaty smell. There is a self service system. Overall, you can try one time.

Went for sons 16th had a great evening well worth the money but please bare in mind if your celebrating a birthday have ID as son didn’t have his on him he couldn’t prove it was his birthday to get his meal at birthday price which was weird as he had his presents etc with him but he still had a lovely evening

We booked on line and said it was my twins 15th birthday.we had been In previously and been told that one free birthday per one full paying adult.There were 7 of us and a 1.5yr old. The food was nice it was quiey i guess because England was playing. When it came to paying not only did i NOT GET the free birthday meals as i did no have any proof with me. Also told only one per party.but could have a conplimentary return .its doubtful after thst we will return put a dampner on their birthday celebrations. They had birthday cards and we sung happy birthday to them. But the deposit of £40 my eldest son paid on Thursday of Friday when he booked it was not deducted at time of paying. Not impressed i cleared our own plates away and got us new cutlery no one asked if everyrhing was ok and did we want any more drinks.All in all a naff experience

I love love love this restaurant. I wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else in Norwich . But but but . Where are your dairy free deserts , cake , ice cream etc. soo disappointed that they STILL don’t have them

If you are a family of 4 or 5, this is a cheap way to eat out. Unfortunately, it was not for me. I tried it, at least.

Great selection of food and for the price the quality is great. My favourite is the Chinese section and the salt and pepper chicken. You do need to book to make sure you get a table but sometimes it’s alright.

Food was great as well as the service of the staff. I am gratefully recommend this to my colleagues. Surely we will come back!

Been coming here for years however had the best customer service especially the grill staff (Jonas think his name was?) who was very friendly and gave me options as I wanted scallops and you no longer do it. Will be coming back again :))

I visited Cosmo Buffet in Norwich yesterday and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The variety of food was impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. I want to give a special shout out to Juno, the teppanyaki chef at the live kitchen. Juno was extremely friendly and engaging, making the experience even more enjoyable. It was a pleasure to have a conversation with him while he expertly prepared our meals. His warm personality and culinary skills truly stood out. Overall was a great visit and would go again!

Cosmos has the best all you can eat! Wide variety of food. Highly recommend Chinese, Japanese and Asian dishes. Cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients and good flavor. Great for families and groups of friends. Would definitely go again !!

Absolutely 💯 superb dining experience right from the beginning to the very end! Fantastic variety of all types of cuisine. Huge range of extremely delicious dishes, all served very fresh 😋 and all cooked dishes were hot 🔥 when selecting the food you desired to eat.🍽 Also a fantastic selection of tasty desserts 🍨 🥧 avaliable to pick from. Fantastic service. 👍 A warm friendly greeting as soon as you walk through the door and very quickly shown to your table after ordering your drinks at the bar. Then invited to dine and choose whatever and how much you wished to eat. The dishes were frequently refreshed and replaced with fresh produce. A warm and special thanks to our wonderful friendly waitress Poppy W. Who did a fantastic job ensuring our dining experience was of a high standard. Service with a smile 😃 & made our visit that little more special Definitely highly recommended & we most certainly will return.

Absolutely appalling customer service! The food was undercooked! Don’t even want to give them one star but there’s no option for this!

Visited this restaurant for a family members birthday. 12 of us in total. Firstly, the customer service was terrible waitresses were extremely rude and arrogant. Very slow at taking empty plates and huffing and puffing when asked to clean the table area. Had a stinking attitude too! Secondly, most of the food was very undercooked! Cauliflower cheese was hard and wasn’t cooked at all! a child was served raw chicken from the grill! Pasta was hard as was undercooked! The list goes on. Thirdly, when we asked to speak to the manger the waitress was VERY rude about this. The manger came over and was very smug about this offering us a free meal next time. We told them we was not coming back and she just laughed at us. It took an hour of her coming back and forth trying to figure out how they was going to deal with this and in the end we was discounted £1.80 off per meal. Which totaled our bill to £241. Which I find absolutely ridiculous as £241 worth of food was definitely not eaten! I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!

I liked everything in cosmos but the food was very disappointing because of how blad it was very hard to eat it because of its lack of taste the only good thing was the ice cream because it's the only thing that had a line.

Excellent. But I asked for a jug of water, but I was told you don't do that. Very disappointed about that.

The food was not up to much and was not laid out very well between the 4 of us we had 1 plate each and left not worth the £93 it cost me...WILL NOT be going back..on the plus side the little ice cream cones were nice thou

Tables and chairs are very close together.. no privacy at all. Also, the price is ridiculous. It's gone up so much in the past couple of years.. £15 like it used to be was reasonable.. but £19 - £23 is silly! Also, the atmosphere is very rushed and busy.. I was trying to get through the ques more than I had a chance to eat. The man at the grill was also very moody.

Compared to other all you can eat buffets the food is bland and the choice of foods is a bit limited. The service was excellent and nice atmosphere.

First time here but I won't be coming back unfortunately, the idea of a buffet for £20 a head sounds great until you realise it's all designed against you: - Options are mainly carbs (noodles, rice, mash potatoes etc) and the meat options tasted super salty, making you want to drink more...filling you up quicker. - The restaurant was super hot, like uncomfortably hot. - The sauce was very watery, I got some sweet and sour sauce and I had to do a double take as I never had sweet and sour sauce that was so watery in my life. - That cat robot waiter...thingy was a novelty at first but after it got in the way multiple times and seemingly serving no purpose it got annoying quickly. - The general layout isn't great the poor staff (who were brilliant btw) were trying to bring people in with a lot of bottlenecks with people coming up to the buffet and people going to the toilets and entering/leaving the restaurant. Makes it a bit manic trying to walk anywhere. To not sound like a totally negative guy, all the staff we spoke to, from the person at the front desk, to the guy clearing the plates and the lady behind the bar were all brilliant. Shame the food wasn't the same standard as the staff.

Cosmo is always a nice treat as there's such a good variety of food that is hot and replenished constantly. I had lots of the seafood like ready to eat prawns and mussels and was not ill in the slightest, so no need to worry about any sickness from the seafood. The only downside was the tepanyaki/grill chef was very blunt and it was hard to communicate what you wanted properly. But did get some nice squid from him so can't complain too much! If it's your birthday you get a free meal which would have been nice to know as I didn't book it with that option so didn't get my meal free despite it being my birthday and showing the lady my ID

Great food and service will be coming again

I tucked into the chicken curry and half way through realised the chicken was pink according to the manager it’s supposed to be like that i’ve never had pink chicken in my life!

We dined here twice. The first time was fine, but the second time my husband developed food sickness. I've always found bland food here. There is no true flavor of anything. This would be our last time.

One of mine and my partners favourite places, sometimes we can be indecisive with what we want to eat. That is where we feel cosmos is good for us, cosmos has a very high variety of different food choices with different ranges of cuisine. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Never had a bad experience here.

Amazing selection of food and services are great. It was very busy on a Sunday evening but we managed to get a seat fairly quickly. Love the chocolate desert fountain and the ice cream were amazing. Also cocktails , my favourite one is strawberry daiquiri! Definitely will come back again !

Really lovely time at Cosmo! The staff were amazing and helpful, the food choices were brilliant and tasted good too! There are loads of kids running around annoyingly, but this is no fault of staff and moreso irresponsible parents/carer’s. I would definitely recommend going here, just hold onto your plates carefully in case a 5 year old goes running into you!
