We went for dinner with our family 5 in all and had the most amazing meal. Great rated atmosphere so pleased as last time I had to a negative feedback. No complaints this time and look forward to our next visit.

After a visit to the cathedral a relaxed lunch al fresco. Recommend the 'fondatu' sharing plate with hot cheese, courgette french fries, supplemented with a pair of chicken skewers. All good and served by a friendly and efficient 'Hash' who was on the ball as it began to rain bringing a large umbrella before we became wet. Nothing too much trouble...bill including two drinks and optional service £43. Recommended.

Zizzis is a favourite of ours, the food is good, service from Rasa was super she was attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble which made the whole experience

Very nice restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Here you can also safely dine outside and don't have to be afraid of the seagulls. You can also find vegetarian dishes. We recommend .

Superb food and efficient service. They cater for Gluten Free too, which is a real bonus. Potentially a touch short staffed, but maybe it was busier than normal. However, one very happy customer - thanks Zizzi's!

Me and my boyfriend came last Saturday, we had amazing food and amazing service from our waitresses, we didn’t catch the name of one unfortunately but Lemlem was absolutely brilliant

It was truly a disgraceful experience. I felt sick while watching the pizza being made. They were putting cheeses like cream cheese around them with their fingers without using gloves. The employees are very indifferent. We asked for tap water 4 times, the last time I went and had to get it myself. The worst part is that it forces you to sign up to the restaurant's application for payment. Card and cash are not used, they have to enter all your information and make payment. It's nothing but a money pit. I don't recommend it to anyone

Turned up on a Tuesday evening to find a half empty restaurant. Was told “sorry, we’re really behind on online orders so can’t take any table bookings” My first (and definite last) time trying Zizzi. Pathetic.

Our waitress Rasa was awesome. She was helpful, friendly snd made us feel welcome and special. Overall a great experience for us all.

Wow what a lovely evening we had. My husband is coeliac and our waitress Chloe was so knowledgeable (being coeliac herself). She showed us how to check what was gluten free and told us what her favourites were. Plates came with gluten free stickers which just added to the confidence we have in this restaurant. Highly recommend and if you have any allergies ask for Chloe you won't regret it.

Great food and atmosphere here, our server was polite and accommodating the whole time. Came here with my wife the other night while we visited Norwich for the weekend, our server Hash was a young man, but impressively knowledgeable of the area. Brilliant service from this place, would 10/10 recommend for visitors.

Staff were fabulous, attentive and friendly - especially Chloe who made us feel really welcome. We went early and it was lovely and relaxed. The food however was disappointing, nicely presented but lacked flavour - especially the pork loin which was tough and dry, and served with boiled veg with no taste. Starter was nice (the ‘bombe’ was huge, but saved some for the risotto which it needed to be fair, pudding was okay but nothing special. Sorry but won’t be visiting again. 5/5 for service but only a 2/3 for food.

A delicious pizza and two large cold Peroni beers served in ice cold glasses, consumed in the beautiful surroundings just outside of the Norwich Cathedral Close. There is however, an ‘however’! I was more than a little gobsmacked to discover the two glasses of Peroni had cost me just short of £16!. I’m still reeling from the pain! Non the less, it was a very enjoyable lunch with attentive service from Hash.

I’m didn’t want to leave a bad review, unfortunately their customer service is nonexistent. We were supposed to get a refund on garlic bread however the manager said he would sort it and check my account in a few days, did not happen. Called a couple weeks later over and over, no answer, when I did get an answer calling a different day they took my number and said the manager would call me. Haven’t heard back since. Disgraceful customer service.

The chef's were the stars of the show for sure. Food was lovely, presented well and delicious. Service and staff on the other hand... APPALLING. Waiting for service and drinks which arrived just before we left even though we ordered with our main meal. Constant stressed faces and the icing on the cake the waitress adding her own tip to our bill and then making out it was a service charge after she'd accidentally slipped up and said 'tip'. This was my first time visiting and I will not be going back or telling anyone to go.

Went for the first time this week and found it to be really nice .Hashim our waiter was a delight,food looked and tasted delicious too.Generous portion sizes and lots of deals on meals if you have a budget .Thank you Zizzis we will be back ✨

Very busy night, staff dealt on the whole extremely professionally and calmly which was great to see. Fantastic restaurant manager who was clearly exceptional at being all over everything, all of the time. We were served by Charlie who was professional, charming, so efficient and had time to have a little chat about the football allt he whole being extremely aware of everything that was going on around him. Thanks for a great experience!

It was was a very busy Saturday night but we got a table for two without a booking with no problems. Despite being very busy we didn’t have to wait long for the food which was excellent, as well as the service. It’s the second time we’ve been here, the last time was a few years ago in October when we sat outside. This time, in the middle of June, everybody sat inside as the weather was typical for an English summer! The atmosphere inside was very good even when busy.

It was underwhelming, sadly. We had a wobbly table, 3 of the items we ordered they didn't have, and it seemed at the time we were there understaffedas we waited a decent length of time for water. The food was good but expensive for what we got. I would not really go here again. Not worth the money in my opinion

I ate here with my family on 27 May 2024, my niece, nephew and parents. We were given a very warm welcome by the man at the entrance, I think his name was Rafik and he showed us to our table, taking care that we were not sat by a door as my parents are in their 80s. A very nice personal touch that I really appreciated. Then came to ordering the food, my adolescent niece being the fussy eater she wanted the calzone pizza, but without meat so the chef kindly prepared her pizza just as she liked. Mum had the prawns hanging on a skewer which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a very pleasant experience, with the restaurant in Tombland in the perfect location.

Although it was a busy Thursday night we were found a table, the service was great, the food fab. The Spinach and Goats cheese ravioli was fab. Unfortunately, the sparkling Pinot Grigio and the Prosecco were not that sparkly, tasting a little like they had soda added.

We were met at the door by a very courteous member of staff and shown to our table. The restaurant was packed both inside and out on the terraced area. Drinks were ordered although took a while to arrive. Our choice of meal was then taken by Charlie. There was a slight confusion with the starter order and it was quickly rectified by Charlie. Our main meals arrived soon after and were fantastic. The portion sizes and flavours were excellent. Charlie was very attentive throughout the duration of our meal and just added that personal touch to what was a great evening.

Nice place for casual dining in Norwich. Great food. Friendly and helpful service. I know it is a chain but we were treated like old friends.

We quite often come to zizis for lunch and have always enjoyed the experience but yesterday when we had lunch I chose the pasta dish with the spicy pork meatballs. Unfortunately the spicy part was missing even though the waitress had warned me of the spiciness of the dish also I wouldn't call the meat meatballs as they were more like mushy bitsI was rather disappointed and mentioned this to the waitress. In future I shall avoid this particular dish.

Not for us. Pizza is extremely pricy for a thin pizza. The steak was not brilliant. The service was excellent.

Our first visit to Norwich & we walked into Zizzi & the very helpful staff found us a table within 5 minutes, even though they were busy. I had the best pizza that I ever tasted (a classic Pinole). I highly recommend!

Lovely pasta, lasagne, and Calzone piccante. Nice salad and fries too. Primitivo red wine very tasty. Friendly server.

I had Tesco vouchers to use and Zizzi was one of the restaurants I chose having used them regularly when living in Essex! We chose the mushroom risotto with added chicken skewers. The dish was lovely and creamy and the skewers was quite a large portion.

We had lovely service from Rasa, not hurried. My prawn starter was a little overcooked but my goats cheese pizza was delicious especially with a little chilli oil .

Really nice place with good food, the staff was very nice. I did find one black hair in my plate though, mistakes can happen but I think it's still worth mentioning though.

I dined with my parents for a 3 course meal on a Friday evening. My father is gluten and dairy intolerant and our waitress Rasa was really attentive to this. The food was great, hot and fresh and even for a busy Friday night there was not a long wait for it. We were off to se a show too that night and our waitress Rasa made sure our food came on time, plus she was friendly and knew about the menu explaining and giving recommendations. A really good experience!
