The best restaurants serving Italian food in Central Bedfordshire East of England

We have been to O'Sarracino a few times a food never disappoints! I tend to have the Linguine Allo Scoglio because I just love it, and my partner tried loads of different dishes and everything has been perfect! The tiramisu is TO DIE FOR!!!! The staff are friendly and very attentive. Gioconda is great!

Brilliant deli - reminded me of the Italian delis in London's Soho from my childhood. Great spaghetti and Guanciale which we just happened to need for a recipe. And in Dunstable of all places

We were craving some really good pizza and decided to give this place a try from the reviews. Did not regret at all, even drove from St Neots to here. We got the bundle with a vegetarian & Athens pizza. Both were top tier! Some of the best pizza we’ve had. Will deff come back.

Clean environment, friendly staff Elena was very lovely, kind and compassionate, she has excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Steak was fair but the mash was nothing to write home about, just mash potatoes without milk or butter, I feel the chef would have done better.

This is the second time that we have visited Amore Pizza in the last month. I must say, as a chef who spent 3 years in Sardinia these pizzas are the nearest that I have tasted in Leighton Buzzard to the authentic thing. Great service, you feel as if you are in someone's front room with a warm pizza oven in the background. The house red wine is typically Italian and goes well with the pizzas. Ok, we were even given a takeaway Tiramasu and Vanilla cheesecake on the house, these were also amazing. If you haven't tried Amore, give it a go, I promise you won't be disappointed. Always delivered on time or even earlier food and drinks both taste lush I’m always getting the slush really good dessert shop highly recommend food always comes in good condition with lovely drivers. Really trust and recommend this delicious desserts

Used to be regulars here. Were left waiting outside looking at empty tables and ignored by all staff. Never coming back again. Appalling customer service.

Came on the off chance that they could fit us in, which we did. I had the pan fried bream and it was the best fish I had ever eaten. The staff were really nice and professional. The portions were an OK size and they were a decent price. The seating was nice and inviting and the decor was really nice. We visited twice and as I was visiting, the bream will be forever in my dreams.

We booked out the entire restaurant as a surprise for my Nans 70th and I’m so glad we chose Donatellos. Cherish has been really helpful from start to finish. She made planning the evening as stress free as possible. The whole team were amazing on the night, the food was piping hot and delicious. I just want to say thank you again to the team for helping to make our Nans 70th so special, she had the best night.

This is the worst food I have ever had delivered. Absolutely disgusting. Never again.

I’ve been to the “cottage bar and bistro” twice in the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed the food on both occasions. I had the mussels to start followed by spaghetti with seafood. Both were nicely cooked with fresh seafood and very delicious. Previously I had calamari and sea-bass which were also lovely. The portion size was perfect for me. The service was efficient and the chef was able to offer an alternate for our friend who had specific dietary requirements. I will return as there are other dishes on the menu which I’d like to try.
